Chapter 2 (A Crock In The Plot)

Trixie Tang was laying in her bed looking into the ceiling trying to figure out how she felt. And it wasn't a pleasant feeling, she felt like telling Crocker about Timmy's godparents was a bad idea, and she couldn't figure it out. Did she really care? Back then with the darkness it was more of infatuation, but Trixie had no clue what that meant. "Trixie are you okay?" She looked toward her right, only to meet her mother's green eyes gazing at her. Her mother looked exactly like Trixie minus the eye color to the point most people thought they were siblings. "Are you having boy problems?" Her mother asked with an excitement in her voice and the girl could only shake her head.

"Yes I am." Her mother squealed and she looked at her, as her mother hugged her daughter who could only wince. "And why are you happy?"
"What is it? Dating? Crush? Love Triangle? You're in love with one of your friends, and can't decide who is better?-"

"What?" Trixie looked at her mother and broke from her mother's grip, "No. I learned a secret about someone that I shouldn't have and I don't know whether I should tell the person. As it does affect somebody, and if it got out bad things would happen. And I told a person, and now I'm starting to feel weird like I did something I shouldn't have. Does that make any sense?" Trixie rested her head on her mother's chest, and she was still debating with herself, did she talk to Timmy?

"Oh emotional problems… yay." Her mother said awkwardly, "Look Trixie, talk to the person who you have their secret, and be honest. Trying to talk to other people and debating with yourself doesn't help anybody. Including yourself, so that's why you've been so agitated lately?" Trixie went silent, and her mother was calming and soothed the girl's inner turmoil, and all she could do was smile. Inside she still felt bad, but less, "Everyone makes dumb mistakes, but talk to him and warn him what you did. And maybe a little something special could happen."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Why don't you find out." Her mother said calmly, "Sometimes you take the dice of fate or something like that. And do something or another. I'm not good at inspirational speeches. So stop sulking and get ready for school." Her mother said, and Trixie hugged her, her mother was annoying but was helpful when she was around. "Also do you have a boyfriend yet? I want to give dating advice. Also in a wedding would you prefer gold or violet colored tablecloths?"

"Mom I'm ten! I am not gonna get married, and go with violet it looks better if everything's the same color. Or at least have it contrasting like a yellow."

"Okay. I haven't been planning your wedding since you were born." Ms Tang said, and Trixie could only shrug her shoulders.

"Okay." Trixie said and stood up from her bed, and ran off to get ready for school and her mother left her daughter alone smiling. Violet and gold materials for your wedding now that sounds beautiful.

Later Dimmesdale Elementary School - Crockers Classroom

"Alright class recently I was going over the class average, and that's an A! And I don't like that, so I've come up with a last minute group project!" Some kids in the class groaned, and others cheered, and Trixie didn't say a thing. Her mind was pondering what her mother had said this morning, and she was still trying to find time to talk to him without alerting her friends. Veronica was sitting on her phone, and Tad and Chad were chatting with each other telling jokes and bragging about each other. Most of the other kids were either bored or barely paying attention, until the cheer came out. "Calm down, calm down, one day I'll be on your popularity charts. Now then I've already chosen the project and your groups." Immediately the entire classroom went silent, and Trixie realized Crocker hadn't forgotten and was planning to launch a scheme.

"For my first group I chose Trixie Tang, and Timmy Turner." And then he went on a long tangent and told everyone their groups. Most of them were basically the groups that everyone usually chose only a few unique ones, and Veronica looked at Trixie who could only shrug her shoulders. But inside her heart went a flutter, and a warmth spread hearing the name, "Oh and did I forget to mention you all have to come to my house."

Trixie and the class looked at each other, "And all of you must meet at my house tonight. I already got permission from all your parents, for a small fee plus a bunch of hours worth of babysitting, a very expensive baby sitting operation might I add. But nonetheless, I'll see you all at my house tonight." And with that the school bell rang, and the entire class rushed out minus Trixie, and Timmy. The boy looked utterly stunned, and hearts had filled his eyes.

"You mean I get to spend time with Trixie Tang?"

"Yes!" Crocker shouted, and the devil had glanced at her with a smile and exited the room leaving a cold shiver down her spine. Trixie had screwed up and she knew it, and the longer this went the worse it got.

"Hi Trixie." He waved at her, as she slowly made her way out of the classroom, with the chart in her pocket.

"Uhh why is an empty seat talking to me?" She said and turned away leaving the room only for the boy to frown, and she left quickly so she didn't change her mind. The boy looked down to the floor.

"I love you Timmy." Was all the girl could think to herself, but she wouldn't let him know just yet.
