I never bothered to exercise, and when I did it was only from time to time, it had taken a lot of my strength to carry the man's unconscious body to the next floor, we needed to get some shelter from the rain.

It's funny, I always wanted to know that my life had some meaning, that even if I wasn't someone important, I-my existence meant something, and no I'm scared because I think it does.

Something out there answered, maybe it was a magician spell gone wrong or some otherworldly beings doing, but regardless, something dropped this man literally on top of me, just when I was going to kill myself.

The cold wind blows and despite it being Sunday, for some reason, the city streets are still busy.

I don't know why, but something inside of me has changed, I can feel it, it's like something that was always there has woken up and I'm afraid of it.

I can see strange shadows of beings that aren't there whenever the lightning makes its presence known, soon both it and the light from the parking lots ceiling will be the only source of light, the sun has been covered up by the clouds.

It's almost symbolic, like if something is saying that if I couldn't live in the light, then perhaps the darkness of the world is better suited to my needs.

I can feel it, there's a strange energy in the air and suddenly a red beam of light shoots into the sky.

I want to say that I'm only imagining it, but every part of my being screams danger.

The rain is starting to pour into the building, it's like a stream of water now, for some reason the water looks unnatural, almost as if something tainted it.

I want to leave, but for some reason, I feel that if I leave this man's side, I'll regret it later.

"Well, well, well, look at what we have here, trash amongst the trash," a man says to me for some reason he's completely covered in darkness even though he's standing directly underneath the light in the parking lot.

"What do you want?" I ask him.

"Nothing just came to see the new arrival, seems you and him are connected in more ways than one"

We looked at each other, but in all honesty, I don't see anyone in front of me.

"Congratulations boy, you have just entered into a world that you only heard about in stories, oh before you go and say I can just ignore it." the man says to me and before I can even blink his standing right next to my feet.

"There is no hiding from any of this" he says to me as the darkness moves and I can finally see his face, he's a reptilian, his face is completely human, but its green and covered in tiny scales.

"What do you want?" I ask him, but my voice only comes out as a whisper.

"I already told you, but I'm so disappointed...well in this"

"Have a good life" he says to me before completely vanishing.

The rain is getting stronger and it's gotten so dark that the only light is the buildings and the light inside the parking lot, I cant see into the distance anymore and if I'm not wrong even the cars have stopped.

"Popcorn" I hear someone whispering to my left ear and I see a bag of popcorn being offered to me, I can even see the steam leaving it.

"No thanks" I answer and the bag is taken away.

"It's starting" it says to me as another beam of light shoots into the sky.

"Seven heroes will rise, seven mages will command them, only one will stand in the end"

"Come one come all, gaze upon this story! are they heroes or are they, villains!"

"I the watchman declare the Holy Grail war has begun!" the reptilian announces another and another beam of light shoo into the sky.

"Now, what will you do? are you but a peasant or are you a champion?"

I want to answer him but the Japanese man answers.

"Heroes, don't make me laugh, I've been a hero, I've foughten them, no thanks I'm not doing that again"

"A champion, sure why not? Someone that is nothing but a normal person and can even beat demon king, yeah I'll do that instead"
