Chapter 2
I met her a few years back, not too much later from when I first started crime fighting. She had been studying at a college when we met. The college had been attacked, and we had worked together to defeat the villain. During that time, I had gotten wounded on my face. To clean the wound, she had taken my mask off while I was still unconscious.
"How else am I supposed to clean it?" She had argued.
"You didn't have to clean it. I would've been fine."
"I was trying to be nice."
"Invading privacy isn't nice. Please, just don't tell anybody."
"There are a few people I might tell."
"Just don't tell anybody who'll tell a whole bunch of other people. We don't really have time for this."
"You're right. But I would like a little bit of gratitude for helping you."
"Fine, maybe you were kind. Thank you."
I didn't know too much about her. I knew her name was Talia Al Ghul, and her father was Ra's Al Ghul. But I didn't know who Ra's Al Ghul was, and just how many people he had killed. I didn't know that he led a giant league of assassins that roamed the world, "saving" it from humanity, by killing all humanity that harmed it. I didn't know just how many people that league had killed. I didn't know just how many people she had killed. But one thing I did know was that she was the most beautiful, bravest, smartest, and strongest woman I had ever met. In other words, I had fallen for her. And, as I would later learn, she had fallen for me, too. Now, we were in a long distance relationship, since the league was always traveling. And were still falling for each other.
Please R & R!
