Chapter 2
In City R
Tempest was doing his photo shoot for the sports article. The interview was done rather quickly, but now, they wanted photos. They took a few with him in his kimono, but then, they insisted on action shots. "What would be a good angle for you? What is a unique move you can do?" the photographer asked as he disrobed. When the stood in his loincloth and mawashi belt, the interviewer blushed. She was smitten by him, the photographer paused. "You don't look like a sumo wrestler…" he said.
"I get that a lot," Tempest said with a smile. But then the smile grew. "How about this." He sat on the floor, his legs outstretched before him, he then put his hand in front and began to lift his whole body off the ground, balancing on just his hands! The photographer was quick to get the shots in. His strength was incredible!
He went on to do a one arm headstand, sumo poses and work out photos. They misted him with water to give his skin a shine under the light. The photo session took three hours! When he was done, he was thanked for his time.
Tempest was about to put his robe back on when he heard a commotion in the hallway. "WE NEVER AGREED TO THAT!"
He paused, the voice was familiar. "Misty?" he whispered.
Peering out of the halls, he saw her standing face to face with some sleazy looking man. "Look here doll face. Sex sells, you want your show? You need to lose more clothing than that!"
She was already dressed rather skimpy, and she wasn't comfortable with it. Tight short shorts and a tube top that barely covered her breasts. "I am not getting any more undressed for this. I am a chef, not some sort of sex doll!" she snapped back.
The man refused to yield. "You want your show? Do what I say! Or… we could work out something else…" he said in a sly tone.
Misty was fuming, her fists clenched in anger.
He knew he had to step in.
Tempest slipped out into the hall until he came behind her. The man froze, and then trembled. "Holy shit… you're the blue dragon!" he said with great excitement.
Misty turned but said nothing, instead she stepped off to the side as Tempest stood over the man. "I'm your biggest fan! I didn't know you were going to be here!"
Tempest showed no emotion, he merely stared down at him. "I couldn't help but over hear your argument…"
He blew it off. "Bitches man, what can you do? You try and give them a break in show business and they treat you like shit. She's a dime a dozen though…"
"Really?" he asked in a cold, callous tone.
Just then another man came out of the recording studio. "I thought I told you to get this show on the air as soon as possible. The sponsors are… Oh… Wait… is that?"
"Yeah, yeah it is!" the sleazy man said with a grin.
The other man, far more professional than the one before him bow graciously. "It is an honor for you to be in our building. Tempest, the blue dragon of the sumo world."
He forced a grin. "Is it? I would return the greeting, however I do not feel that this honor is being shared with the young woman here."
The sleazy man smirked. "Don't worry, I'll get rid of her and find someone who will do what I say!"
Tempest turned to the one in the business suit. "Your name please."
"Oh… I'm Sato!" he said.
"Sato? Is this man important?"
Sato was silent he shook his head. "No, however he is the boss' son."
"Is the boss here?" he asked.
"He is…"
"I wish to speak with him. Tell him it concerns all future photo sessions and interviews from this moment on."
Sato was quick to leave, Tempest however turned to the sleazy man. "I would ask for your name, but at the moment, I don't quite care to know it."
"What? What did I do to offend you!"
Tempest was silent as the CEO appeared. When his eyes locked on to Tempest he smiled. "The blue dragon… what a pleasure…" Tempest's hand went up, silencing him rather quickly.
"From this moment on, I will refuse to do any and all photo session and interviews here… unless this man is evicted from working here…"
"WHAT!" the three demanded.
"Tempest… you don't…" Misty began to say.
"Wait, you know this broad?"
"I told you to stop calling the women here that!" the CEO scolded, but then paused as he looked at Misty. "Is she wearing anything under that apron?!"
"Barely…" she muttered.
"Look, sex sells!"
The CEO was turning white, he turned to Tempest with great worry. "You know this young woman, don't you?" he asked.
Tempest nodded. "She is my girlfriend," he said.
The three turned white as ghosts.
The CEO turned and then smacked the sleaze bag upside the head. "You INSULTED the blue dragon's girlfriend! YOU'RE FIRED!"
"Pops… come on!"
"Sato get him out of here!"
Tempest watched with satisfaction as the man was dragged out, the CEO bowed profusely to Tempest. "I am not the one you should apologize to. I should not have to have done this now, question remains… why did you allow your own son to do this? How many has he harmed this way? I am not impressed."
Tempest stepped back. Misty came forward and said. "He wanted me to cook naked for this show… I am a PROFESSONAL chef!" she stated.
"I am so sorry, please. We will still do your show, we will do it your way. I will let Sato take over production!"
Misty nodded in agreement. "I accept that, he did listen to me." She said. With the apology given and a new agreement, the CEO excused himself.
When they were alone, Tempest bowed his head. "I am so sorry I interfered." He said. "This was your fight, I shouldn't have fought it for you…"
Misty sighed. "I get it, but next time. Let me handle it… I wanted to punch his lights out." She said and cracked her knuckles. But she smiled. "It was sweet of you to help me, you didn't have to…"
Tempest smiled. "I am done for the day, would you like to get some lunch?" he asked.
"You need to put on something more than a loincloth!"
