Time for chapter 2, let's see what's going to happen.
Selina's apartment:
Selina was sat in her apartment with Bruce who was counting the cards he had, she looked over his shoulder and looked at them. Bruce looked up and smiled at her and Selina smiled back at him, they became more interested in what they could do and what other cards were out there.
"So, what cards do you have so far?" Selina asked curiously as she sat next to Bruce as he laid out all the cards across the table.
"I have: Change, Slash, Beat, Kick and Time," Bruce told her then thought of something. "And I'm guessing there's more to get, look!" Bruce pointed out. "I'm missing: Four, Six, Seven, Eight and Nine. There's also the Jack, Queen and King."
"I see where you're coming from," Selina agreed as she could see that these cards were almost like normal playing cards. "The question that I'm going to ask is: how do you get the rest?" Selina asked, that was one thing Bruce wanted to know too. Suddenly, there was smash as a dark figure holding a double ended sword then looked directly at Bruce.
"So, you are the one using Blade's power?" Asked the figure, Bruce got up and inserted the Change card into the buckle then the belt wrapped around his waist.
"Selina, I know you like to fight but I need you to get out of here!" Bruce shouted as he ran and tackled the figure out the window but lucky, he had changed into Blade and started fighting the attacker while Selina ran to find help. Meanwhile Blade and the unknown attacker were locked in combat with blades flying everywhere but things were going to change as the unknown fighter took out two cards that looked exactly like his then they scanned swiped them across the center of the weapon.
"Tornado! Chop!" Holograms of the cards left then entered the chest of opponent. "Spinning Wave!" A tornado engulfed the figure and with a swift motion of the blade, Bruce got sent flying due to gust of wind hitting him like a blade had somehow broke through the armor and made him bleed.
"What are you?" Bruce asked as he tried to stand but didn't have the energy so he grabbed his sword and took out a random card then swiped it down the blade.
"Time!" With that, the figure stopped moving then Bruce decided to see if the unknown figure had some of his cards so he opened up the card holder then took out the cards. After a few seconds, Bruce had found two cards with the Spade emblem: the Nine of Spades and the Six of Spades.
"Mach and Thunder? These may come in handy." Bruce thought, he decided to run away before time resumed with his new cards. After a few seconds, the time effect wore off which meant the unknown attacker could move.
"He used the Time card on me?" The figure asked himself, he took the Rouzer off his weapon then attached it to his belt.
"Spirit!" The fighter walked through a brown waterfall then went back to his human form. He looked around and decided to check out Gotham's city streets to see what was going on.
Meanwhile:
Bruce had gotten away from the alley and had made it to the dockyard, he felt like he was about to past out as he was pain: his opponent was far stronger and faster than he was and the pain felt like he had just got hit by a bus. It was quiet until he heard the sounds of several footsteps coming towards him, Blade looked behind to see some of Strange's failed experiments and they looked worse than usual: one had metal covering most of its body, one looked liked it had the strength of a bull but the rest were holding various weapons from knives to guns.
"Looks like it's time for more!" Blade shouted as he pulled out his sword and stood ready for a fight. The experiments charged towards Bruce and that's when the fight begun, Bruce was doing his best until the sound of incoming rocket hit Blade in the center of the chest and sent him flying. Stood by a crane stood another one of Strange's experiments with and rpg in the style of a gatling gun, Blade was holding his chest in pain as he tried to get. "I wish I had some help right now." Blade mumbled then he heard footsteps behind him and when he looked, he saw a teenager his age wearing blue torn jeans, a white vest and a long brown raincoat.
"Instead of us fighting each other, let's fight together." Suggested the figure, a belt appeared on his waist with a heart shaped buckle. "Henshin." The man shouted as he swiped the card down his belt and ran through a brown waterfall and changed into his armored form, he jumped and slashed two of the experiments then helped Bruce up. "Name's Chalice, you ready to tag team these creeps?" Chalice asked, Blade nodded then they charged towards the experiments.
"Let's double up on the metal one!" Blade shouted as he swiped two cards down his blade, Chalice nodded then swiped two cards across the scanner on his weapon.
"Slash! Thunder! Lightning Slash!" Announced the Blay Rouzer then the powers entered Blade. "Chop! Tornado! Spinning Wave!" Announced the Chalice Rouzer as the powers entered Chalice. Together, Blade and Chalice ran towards the metal experiment slashed him with all their power, the experiment fell down and lost conscious.
"Throw the Seven of Spades and capture his ability." Chalice told Blade, he nodded then threw the exact card which took the ability then card flew back into Blade's hand. "I want to apologize for attacking you back in the alley." Chalice started, the pair changed back to their normal forms then looked at each other.
"I'm Bruce, what's your name?" Bruce asked as he sat down and counted his card, Chalice sat on the edge of the docks and looked over the ocean.
"It's Hajime," Hajime introduced himself. "I came here after I sensed Blade's power being used." Hajime explained which confused Bruce.
"You said sensed, how?" Bruce asked, Hajime began explaining how the cards were linked so they were easy to track then the two decided to leave the docks and find Selina. But what no one knew was that Selina had been taken and was now inside a dark room being experimented on and near her in containers were more of the Rouze cards and pipes connected to her and a few other people.
GCPD:
James Gordon was working hard as he was trying to locate the missing people. He working as hard as he could until he heard footsteps coming towards him and when he looked up, he saw his wife Lee Thompkins walking over towards him.
"Is everything alright?" Lee asked, she could tell her husband was tired and stressed. "I've came by to tell you that Barbara has gone missing, the baby was left alone." Jim was concerned now.
"Harvey and Lucius are missing and now Barbara, whose next?" Jim asked, it was at that moment that Bruce and Hajime walked in and Bruce looked worried as hell.
"Captain, Selina's missing and here's the proof," Bruce told Jim then he slammed a necklace which had a diamond S on it. "I brought this Selina a few weeks ago and she promised to never take it off. The only reason this isn't around her neck is that it fell off." Bruce explained then Hajime jumped.
"And where we found it, there was definitely a fight there recently," Jim looked at the new guy with a puzzled look. "I'm Hajime, a recent friend of Bruce's." Jim nodded then looked at Bruce.
"Bruce, there's others," Jim told which made Bruce and Hajime look angry. "There's Bullock, Lucius, Barbara and others." Bruce looked very angry so Hajime took him outside to talk.
"Look, do you know anyone who may want to take them?" Hajime asked, Bruce thought as hard as he could to think of a name until he remembered someone.
Meanwhile:
In a dark lab, a familiar figure was experimenting on Barbara Kean and it wasn't long until a Rouze card had mutated her into monstrous version of a Buffalo and straight away, it was pulling in metal objects and hit a surgeon so hard that he now had a metal leg in the back.
"I'm impressed, these cards are more powerful than I thought," Strange smiled then looked at his creation. "Go and have fun, I've got some important matters to attend to." Hugo said then walked away to talk to a tall woman wear red and black with her face covering in white face paint. "The experiment was a success, we can proceed with the big experiment." Hugo informed her and she was happy so the two walked off to start talking about the next phase.
City streets:
The sound of motorbikes roaring down the streets as they were looking for clues until they got tackled off their bikes and hit the ground hard, they looked up and saw a monstrous Buffalo running towards them but lucky rolled out of the way.
"That's an Undead!" Hajime shouted as he threw off his helmet and it hit the Buffalo. "Bruce, let's go!" Hajime called over and Bruce nodded, their belts wrapped around them and ran towards the Undead. Hajime swiped his Change card down the buckle while Bruce pulled the handle on the buckle to shoot out the Change portal, they ran and then transformed into Blade and Chalice.
"Are there anymore like this?" Blade asked as he punched the Buffalo Undead into a car, Chalice took out his Chalice Arrow and slashed the Undead in the chest.
"There are loads of them but I've got all of mine," Chalice told Blade as he grabbed the Undead by the neck and threw them into a wall. "There's still more categories: Spade Undeads, Diamond Undeads and Clover Undeads." Blade jumped over Chalice and kicked the Buffalo Undead in the head then pulled out the Blay Rouzer and slashed it. Blade took out two cards and swiped them down the sword, the abilities left the cards and entered Blade's body.
"Kick! Thunder! Lightning Blast!" Blade threw the sword into the Undead then jumped high into the sky, he pointed out his right leg then kicked the sword into the chest but the Undead flew the sword back and hit Blade, countering his kick and making fall on to the floor.
"That ability… it's the Magnet Undead!" Chalice shouted as he attached his buckle to the Chalice Arrow then swiped a card through it.
"Tornado!" Chalice then fired a blast at the head which sent the Undead flying into an alley. Blade and Chalice ran into the alley but by the time they got there, it was already gone which made the two confused.
"How did that Undead disappear so quickly?" Blade asked but Chalice shrugged his shoulders, they got surprised by the Undead landing on top of them. The Undead got up and was about to kick them but Blade pulled out a card and swiped it.
"Time!" The Undead was frozen but Blade and Chalice were able to move so they got up and just as Blade was about to strike, Chalice grabbed his arm and pulled him away just as a fireball missed them and the Time effect wore off. They looked to see that the fireball came from another Undead that looked like monstrous Firefly.
"Two against two, ready?" Chalice asked and Blade nodded then the fight began: Blade took the Fire Undead while Chalice took on the Magnet Undead. The fight was so intense that Blade and Chalice were having trouble fighting them, they rolled out of the way the fireball from the Fire Undead but then Blade had an idea.
"Chalice, can you our hot friend busy?" Blade asked, Chalice nodded then took on the Fire Undead while Blade took out three Rouze cards and scanned them.
"Slash! Metal!" Now Blade's body was covered in metal which caused the Magnet Undead to pull him but it wasn't prepared for Blade's surprised slash to the waist. The Undead collapsed and started to overheat, Blade took out a Rouze card and threw it which absorbed the power and there was an unconscious Barbara Kean. Chalice punched the Fire Undead away then retreated to Blade and Barbara.
"Let's fall back to the GCPD!" Chalice shouted as he took out two of his cards and scanned them.
"Float! Tornado!" With that, a tornado engulfed the three then they flew away which caused the Fire Undead to become very angry then it ran away to start causing trouble.
Chapter 2 is done. The Undeads have made an appearance but they're different as you can tell. Do you like how they appeared? Hajime and Bruce are friends and fighting together. What will happen to the other captured people?
