Several years later…
Things in life are never how they seem.
Life is an incredible gift that humans can have and make.
But that gift can always just be taken away as easily as it was given.
Washington, Forks
It was a terrible day for a graduation the heavy rain, the terrible winds and the dark cloud which loomed over the whole of Forks town.
"What are you doing here?" Bella demanded from Jacob as he and his friends strolled into the Cullen's decorated home.
"I was invited" Jacob said with a shrug of his shoulders as he nervously looked at Bella, Quil and Embry staying close to Jacob as though they were his backup.
"Was my right hook not subtle enough for you. That was me uninviting you" She said as she crossed her arms and looked at him sadly, he was her best friend and she didn't feel comfortable to have him around her.
"Look Bella, I'm sorry I promise I wont kiss you again unless you ask" He said with a sight smile as Bella loosened up scoffing slightly.
"I got you something, made it myself" He said as he gently grabbed her wrist to put the small hand carved bracelet with a small black wolf attached.
"You really didn't have to but it's beautiful and I love it thanks Jake" She says smiling as she play with the bracelet and watches as Alice has a vision.
The Cullens and the wolves all gathered into the living room to discuss Alices vision.
"They'll be here in four days" Alice said as her voice quivered as she looked terrified.
"This could turn into a bloodbath" Carlisle said frustratedly.
"Who's behind it?" Edward asked.
"I didn't see anyone I recognised... maybe one," Alice replies.
"I know his face" Edward said, deep in thought. "He's local. Riley Biers, he didn't start this"
"Whoever did is staying out of action" Alice finished for him.
"They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle theorised.
"Either way, this army is coming and there aren't nearly enough of us to protect the town" Jasper spat out.
"Hold up, what damn army?" Jacob asked impatiently.
"Newborns. Our kind" Carlisle explained gravelly.
"What are they after?" Embry asked, frowning.
"They were passing around Bellas decent. A red blouse," Alice replied.
"They are after Bella? What the hell does this mean?" Jacob asked quietly fury evident in his voice.
"It means an ugly fight. With lives lost" Carlisle told them gravely.
Jacob looked at Quil and Embry, who both nodded at him.
"Alright. We're in" Jacob said with determination.
"No, you guys are going to get yourselves killed," Bella protested immediately.
"We're not asking for your permission. You should be happy Bella we're working together isn't this what you wanted?" Jacob said sarcastically.
"Edward, please?" Bella begged, looking for someone else to give her some support.
"It means more protection for you," Edward said, looking at Jasper in question.
"It might work but if we can get the extra help it would be better" Jasper said looking at Carlisle and Edward.
"That's nearly impossible she hasn't been seen in years and who knows if she'd be willing to help" Edward said sadly.
"There's still hope and knowing Elenor she would want to help" Jasper disagreeded firmly, Edward looked away as Rosaline growled at him.
"It's your fault she left and didn't keep contact! So get rid of your stupid pride and help us find her" Rosaline shouted at Edward as she threw him into a wall.
"What's going on?" Bella asked panicking as Jacob pulled her back in protection, she fought against him.
"Nothing to worry about Bella. Jacob, do you think Sam will agree to an understanding?" Carlisle asked desperately.
As the days went on each Cullen would try there hardest to find her and send messages to her through phone calls.
They even had Alice try to get her location but it wasn't working.
It was as though she had vanished off the face of the earth and that scared them all.
They needed her help.
