I don't own Naruto
She couldn't hold back her tears. Everything hurt her, her body, her soul.
She shivered from the coldness of the ground but wasn't able to get up just yet.
'What should i...' her thoughts got interrupted from a buzzing sound, which came from her clothes.
'My phone!' she remembered that last night she put her phone into her jacket. It was lucky she chose her black one with zippered pockets.
With every power that she could collect, she tried to reach for her clothes and get her phone.
With heavy breathing in the end, but she was holding it finally in her hands.
The buzzing stopped already, but she saw a lot of missed calls on her screen. It was already 13 pm, probably they are searching for her.
She clicked on her phone and called the first number, which was in her history. It didn't need much time for the person to pick it up.
"Hinata?! Where are you?!" her best friend's voice rang through her phone.
"Sakura? I don't know...I woke up in an alleyway. I'm...I'm cold." she replied. It was the first time that she spoke since she woke up. Her voice was rough and dry.
There was a second silence before her friend spoke again.
"Hinata. I need you to check where exactly you are. Can you do that for me?"
"I don't know... everything hurt. I'm...I'm naked, Sakura. What should I do?" she started to panic, tears falling down on her cheeks.
"Everything will be alright. We'll come for you, but you need to check where you are. Open the map on your phone. It should show the location." she suggested.
Hinata did as told and opened the application. Fortunately, it worked and the location, where she was, was in front of her.
"It shows that I'm in Hiddenleaf street. It should be at the edge of the city somewhere."
She heard as Sakura was talking to someone in the background for a second.
"We are right on the way, Hinata. Hold on!... I need to make another call quickly, but we are there for you in no time. We'll inform your father too." she said and ended the call.
Her phone landed on the ground. Hinata was exhausted from the talking. She couldn't hold it any longer.
Her thoughts wandered around her father. He's probably worried. He was right about the party. She shouldn't have gone to it. It was a stupid idea.
She looked up at the sky. It was bright blue. Compared to Autumn, it was such good weather, but she couldn't think about it right now. The sky just made her remember those blue eyes... Those, she liked so much, but now she can't get the thoughts out from her mind, as they turned into dark red right in front of her.
She doesn't want to think anymore but the negative thoughts flow through her mind.
Why did she get into this situation?
Around 10 minutes passed by just staring at the sky. She almost didn't realize that someone calling out for her.
She tried to yell that she's there, but her voice was dry and wasn't able to do it.
Luckily it wasn't necessary because her friend found the right alleyway.
Firstly it was hard to see anything for Sakura. It was really a narrow and dark alley. A few bins were in the way too, but eventually she saw her friend laying on the ground. She froze for a moment.
It was the worst sight of her life. Hinata was pale and covered up with a thin blanket. Her clothes besides her were dirty and torn apart. She needed to act quickly.
"Hinata! I'm here. Everything will be fine." she hurried to her, relieved that her friend is conscious.
"Sasuke-kun! She's here!" she yelled.
In a few moments, the said person was standing beside them, shocked at the sight front of him.
Hinata meantime didn't have the time, nor the energy to feel embarrassed about her unfortunate situation. Her friends acted quicker.
"Grab her! We need to take her to the hospital." said Sakura and with that said, Sasuke brought her bridal style to their car, which parked not far away from them. Sakura, behind them, carried her clothes and phone with her.
There wasn't much people on the street. It was really a far end of Konoha. That few person, who was nearby didn't really pick up what's happining. It was odd. They acted like it would happen every day.
Sasuke put her onto the back seats so she could lay, and after, he went to the driver's seat. Sakura sat herself quickly onto the passenger seat and they drove to the hospital.
"Hinata...What happened to you?" Sakura looked back at her.
She didn't want to talk about it. It was painful enough to think about what happened. Trying to relax, she closed her eyes and ignored the question.
Sakura didn't want to push her limit. It was obvious what happened to her, but she needed to hear it from her. She was angry and worried. She should have gone with her yesterday, when she went for a drink. She shouldn't have left her alone…
"Do you remember what happened to you?" she looked at her face, as Hinata opened her eyes, their eyes met and she nodded.
Something was bright. It was irritating her. She tried to turn around, but it was too hard to do so.
Slowly she opened her eyes and saw that she was in a hospital room. Through the windows the setting sun lighted the whole room with an orange shade.
'It seems I fall asleep in the car.' she thought.
Slowly getting up in a sitting position, she saw, it was a normal hospital bed where she was laying on and looks like they gave her clothes too. She felt a little better immediately.
Looking at her left side, on a nightstand, there was water prepared for her. With shaking hand, she took it and drank.
All of a sudden someone opened the door, and through it, her father stepped into the room. She looked at him shocked.
"Hinata! You are awake! I was really worried about you." he run to her.
She didn't say anything though, she couldn't really.
"Do you need anything? Are you hungry? I see you've drank already." he said.
Was she hungry? She couldn't decide. Thirst was still there to bother her, but hunger...Probably if she would eat, it would come out immediately. She shakes her head to indicate she doesn't need anything.
It was hard to look at him. She wouldn't be in this situation if she wouldn't have been so obviously sad about the party. He was right, it was indeed dangerous. But who thought that something like this would happen to her?
She didn't realize it, but for awhile no one made a sound. Her father was in deep thought and she was just looking blankly at her blanket.
"Hinata, we know what happened to you..." She looked up quickly, eyes watering.
"The doctors have already examined you and took samples. We will find the person who did this to you. Do you remember who it was?" he asked.
She wanted to say it, but as soon as she opened her mouth, it closed itself. Her hands gripped her blanket tightly. She couldn't say the name. It hurt too much.
Her father saw her inner battle and sighed.
"You don't need to tell me, Hinata. But sooner or later I will get to know it." he made a long pause.
"An officer is outside right now. You need to talk to him about what happened. He's the brother of Uchiha Sasuke. He's your friend, right? He will ask you a few questions and after it, I will be back, ok?" she nodded. Still shocked by the information that her father told her. If they really took samples, eventually, they will know who it was, or not?
Should she say his name? Regardless, what happened she still loves him. It wasn't him, who did this to her. It's not like him. There should be an explanation. She knew it.
But still...should she say anything about it?
"Hello? Hinata?"
While her attention was distracted, her father left the room and Officer Uchiha came into it.
She didn't even hear him greet her until the second time.
"Oh...sorry. I didn't hear you." she said.
"It's fine. I'm Itachi by the way. I'm here to discuss what happened yesterday." he started.
"Normally it's not allowed to get involved in a case, which can connect to me. I organized the party and I feel responsible for what happened. But looks like I'm the only available right now for this job." he didn't want to get into the details. Poor girl has already had a lot on her plate.
She nodded, implying that it's ok.
"I know It won't be easy to talk about it, but unfortunately it's necessary… But first of all, do you remember what happened?" he asked her.
Hinata nodded again.
"I do, the most of it." she replied.
"Can you tell me what is it exactly, what you remember?"
She sighed. Collecting every memory what she had about the other night, she started to tell about the incident.
From the guy who stopped her in the living room, until the room she woke up in. Then she hesitated to continue.
She needs to say it, she knew it.
Gathering every courage, she continued finally.
"I heard two voices from outside. They talked about me if I'm ready. They mentioned a camera and a boy too, but I'm not sure what they said exactly." Itachi meantime wrote everything down what she said.
"After that, the door to the room opened... I didn't see anything or anyone. I was facing the other way and I couldn't move at all... I just heard they through something into the room...or rather someone." she said quietly.
She needed a few moments to remember and collect her thoughts about what came next. Itachi was waiting patiently.
"They closed the door and it was quiet again...After a while, I heard noises. It was like someone was growling… like an animal. I got scared, but couldn't do much... I heard that someone was getting closer and closer to me and eventually, he grabbed me and got on top of me." she said it like a robot but her tears were falling without any break.
"Did you see who it was, Hinata?" Itachi asked. She nodded shakily.
"He forced me to look at him." she cried.
"His eyes...His eyes turned red and then he...he..." she couldn't continue anymore. Her crying changed into sobbing.
"It's ok. You don't need to say it." Itachi tried to calm her.
"Who was it Hinata?" he asked again, but he already could guess the answer. After all, it wasn't just her who got missing yesterday. And from her reaction he could get it, it was someone, she knows.
"Was it Uzumaki Naruto?" he asked finally.
Her eyes widened. Her shaking stopped and she looked up at him.
'I thought so.' he thought sadly.
"That just makes it more complicated." he murmured to himself.
"Hinata, you should know... Yesterday Naruto went missing
too. We think, it happened even before you got lost." she was listening now as her life would depend on it.
"This morning we got a call from a civil citizen that they found someone laying in a bush in a park, close to the place where you got found. He was naked and beaten up." he sighed.
"He was brought into the hospital in critical condition." She cried her eyes out already but somehow in that moment tears were still falling.
"H-How is he now?" she asked.
"Hinata... Naruto is in a coma and it's not sure when he will wake up."
