Previously on Totally Spies: Promises Kept...
"Listen to me, okay, bro?" Nick proclaimed. "Sam loves you, and I know you love her. You two have something really special, and I don't think any amount of teenage crushes is going to take that away."
"I... I just worry," Mat admitted. "Despite everything, the way she looked at Dean just got to me. Even if she said that it was likely just a remnant of the old crush she had on him... ugh, I don't know why my mind is dredging up these worst-case scenarios now of all times!"
"The mind can be a cruel thing sometimes," Nick responded. "I had the same worst-case things going through my head when that clone of Kevin stabbed Alex, and even way back when that clone of Jeremy stabbed Bridget. We all fear the worst when it comes to these kinds of situations, but the best way to conquer them is to not give in to those darker impulses. I... I learned that lesson the hard way, after all."
Despite his own concerns, Mat couldn't help but smile. "Thanks, man."
"Always happy to say some words," Nick replied, fist-bumping Mat with his free hand.
"Back so soon, Nick?" Jerry asked, only to see Mat and tense up. "Is Mat okay?"
"Scam tried to break his leg," Nick explained. "Thankfully, it looks like Mat's leg is only dislocated, but I brought him here as fast as I could so he could get treated."
"Don't you worry," Jerry proudly proclaimed as Nick set Mat down on a nearby stretcher. "W.O.O.H.P. has some of the best medical facilities in the world. We'll take good care of Mat, we promise."
"Um, Nick?" Mat asked. "Even if Dean promised he wouldn't make any moves on Sam... can you keep an eye on him, just in case? At the very least, it'd put my mind at ease."
"Hey, bro, it's the least I can do for you," Nick responded. "Don't you worry about a thing. We're all going to stomp Scam again, and we'll make sure you and Sam stay together. That's a promise."
After getting a confident smile from Mat, Nick floated upwards, then took off down the hallway he'd came from to rejoin his friends in pursuing Scam.

Episode 2: The Back-and-Forth Battle
"How's he doing, Nick?" Bridget asked once Nick had rejoined the rest of the spies.
"Jerry and the doctors are taking good care of him as we speak, Sam," Nick replied. "We don't have a thing to worry about."
"Say, Nick? Do you have any idea why Mat's so concerned about losing me, despite the promise we made?" Sam wondered. "He seemed really upset about it for some reason..."
"Something about his mind forcing the worst-case scenarios onto him despite his best efforts," Nick answered. "It's not really something we can help, and... well, I personally know how that feels."
Even though he didn't give any specifics, Sam immediately knew what Nick was talking about. The time when he had nearly killed the clone of Kevin when he had stabbed Alex.
"It's like I said to Mat, we just have to not give in to those darker impulses," Nick continued. "I would have done that myself if I didn't have friends like you to pull me out of the darkness."
"You know it, Nick," Haruka giggled.
"Oh, and Dean?" Nick quipped, catching Dean's attention. "I'm gonna be keeping an eye on you, got it? Even if I know that Jerry briefed you on our relationships, I promised Mat I'd make sure you don't try and pull the old 'charm point' maneuver."
"Hey, you've got nothing to worry about from lil' ol' me," Dean laughed.
"Here's hoping," Nick replied.
"All right, Scam, where the hell are you?!" Sam shouted.
"It's like he's doing this on purpose or something, right?" Dawn quipped.
"Oh, just wait," Nick replied, clenching his fists in preparation. "I'm sure he'll show up eventually. And when he does, we're make him pay in spades for hurting one of our own."
"Damn right, Nick! You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!" May proclaimed.
"Pardon me for interrupting, but something wicked this way comes!" Alex exclaimed, pointing to just ahead, where Scam was waiting with yet another smug grin plastered on his face.
"I don't know why you wretched spies feel the need to continue this pointless fight," Scam cackled. "Why delay the inevitable? Sam will be my queen, and there's nothing any of you can do to stop it from being so."
"Um, mister loony? We've heard that line a bazillion times already, and we always come out on top anyway!" Alex shot right back.
"Yeah, what makes you so special?!" Clover challenged.
"Oh, wouldn't you like to know?" Scam laughed.
"You know something?" Nick growled, his psychic aura flaring back to life. "I'm really done with your nonsense, Scam. You're just lucky I don't have those Psy-Stones with me, or I'd use the power boost to rip open a hole in the dimensions so you can go join Terrence!"
"Stay on guard, everyone," Haruka proclaimed. "This looks like it's gonna get ugly."
(From Mat49324)
Sam tried to focus, but thoughts about Mat's well-being really messed with her.
"I guess you'll have to deal with your pathetic psychic crap that I've come prepared to deal with," Scam sneered at Nick.
"We're still gonna kick your ass, Scam!" Sam exclaimed with a vexed look on her face. "AND YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR SERIOUSLY HURTING MY SWEETHEART!"
"Oh, I don't think so," Tim Scam stated and gave Sam a smile of his own. "You'll be calling me your new sweetheart now..."
"EWW!" Alex grimaced. "Sammy doesn't like you one bit, and she's not on the market either!"
"Looks like she is with that other boy out of commission," Scam sneered.
"Well, you're gonna answer to that!" May exclaimed. "As I said, you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!"
"And LIKE HELL are you EVER gonna lay your dirty hands on me!" Sam growled. "I LOVE MAT!"
"Maybe I can change your sentence to my name instead of your floozy lover," Scam sneered at Sam.
Hearing the word, floozy really turned Sam's stomach. It also made her clench a fist and mad as hell. "Is floozy the best you can do, Scam?! Mat's NOT a floozy!" she shouted and charged forward. "NOBODY DOES THIS TO SOMEONE I LOVE AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!"
Officially fed up, Sam raised her fist and charged, ducking under a flying kick from Scam to punch him in the stomach.
"Is that the best you can do?" Scam taunted.
"Not even close, freak show!" Sam shot back, landing a flying kick to Scam's head that sent him tumbling backwards.
"Somebody's a fighter," Scam stated. "I like that in a woman of your statute."
Sam didn't let that faze her and kicked Scam in the chest.
"Come on, spies!" Clover exclaimed. "We gotta help Sammy and save her relationship with Mat!"
"I hope Mat won't do the inevitable though," Dean replied, feeling a slight amount of guilt in case it did happen.
"Sam and Mat are special together," Alex stated. "We've grown to like Mat, too, since he's proved his friendship to me and Clover at least."
Sam attempted to punch Scam in the head, only for Scam to dodge around her and run towards the other spies.
"Let's see you change your tone after I mess up your friends!" Scam proclaimed, lunging towards Haruka...
...only to have something smash into his chest and knock the wind out of him.
Nozomi was the first to see May wielding another large anchor as she liked to do.
"Um, May? Where did you get that anchor?" Nozomi wondered.
May smiled and raised her left wrist, which had a small device strapped to it shaped like an old-school Power Rangers morphing device.
"Pretty convenient, right?" May giggled. "It's one of Jerry and the R&D boys' newest masterpieces, the Emergency Gadget Transporter. It allows instant teleportation of a gadget you might need in an emergency that you might not have on you at the moment. And, of course, I convinced them to let me try it out with my signature weapon!"
May turned back to Scam, hefting her anchor on her shoulders. "So, sleazeball, you wanna give it up now?! Or do you want another taste of what made me the frontline fighter of the Jellyfish Pirates?!"
"I think we'll pick this up a little later," Scam sneered. "You better enjoy your last minutes with your spy team, Sam, because you're coming to me!" And with that, Scam retreated.
"As if!" Haruka grimaced.
"Oh, I'll be looking forward to putting this guy back where he belongs," Nick remarked.
That's when Sam's X-Powder chirped. She opened it to reveal Jerry's visage.
"Spies, a mission update," Jerry stated.
"We now know what Scam's M.O. is, Jerry," Nick answered. "He's formed a crush on Sam and wants to make her all his."
"Oh, my," Jerry remarked.
"That's scary enough for someone like him," Clover commented. "But no way we're letting him get his hands on our Sammy."
"I know you girls well enough to know that'll not happen," Jerry quipped, showing his amount of faith in the spy team.
"Jerry, any word on Mat?" Sam asked, obviously worried about her true love.
"Is he okay?" Alex asked, concerned for him, too.
"It appears Mat has a dislocation in his left leg," Jerry replied. "Luckily, his leg's not broken, but the W.O.O.H.P. medical staff is still working with him."
"How's he feeling?" Melissa asked.
"I won't lie to you... he's been off-and-on worried about staying together with you, Sam," Jerry answered.
"I was afraid of that," Sam responded, her worry finally starting to show.
"Under the circumstances, I would be, too," Nick stated. "Regardless if that were May or Alex."
"But we're not going to let that happen," Alex replied, holding Nick's right hand.
"Speaking the truth there!" May proclaimed, holding Nick's left hand.
Nick couldn't help but smile. "Thanks, you two."
"Jerry, is it possible we could see him?" Sam requested. "Scam got away from us, after all."
"I heard," Jerry replied. "I'm trying to locate Scam anyway. The WOOHP Medical team also just told me that they've just finished with Mat."
"Well, let's go cheer Mat up at least," Dawn quipped as Sam closed her X-Powder.
With that, the spy team made their back trip to see how Mat was coping with the circumstances.
Jerry then escorted the spy team to where Mat was, but the mood was quickly sour when they saw Mat completely frustrated, his head hung, and not even make any eye contact with them.
"I gave him the news that I had to sideline him from the mission a little while ago, and I don't think he's taking it well," Jerry stated to Sam.
"Yeah, who would?" Bridget quipped, overhearing.
Alex and Clover tried to cheer Mat up.
"Is everything okay, Mat?" Alex asked.
"How are you feeling, buddy?" Clover wondered.
"I don't know, girls," Mat gloomily replied. "I think I'm feeling close to how Ivan Tedesco felt losing out on a perfect 125 West Supercross season from a teeny flu bug of all things in 2004, and James Stewart losing out on a perfect Motocross season later that summer due to a broken clutch at Red Bud."
"And that doesn't sound like a good feeling at all," May replied.
Sam saw this and joined in the fray.
"Mat, you should know this," Alex remarked, trying to be that "best friend" like she usually was. "But when you were spy-napped, Sammy really missed you dearly."
"Really?" Mat asked.
"Oh, you should have seen how she acted when the twin tarts were claiming that she'd never see you again," Clover stated. "If looks could kill, this world would be short two superbaddies!"
"And Sam actually got you back by giving you the Sleeping Beauty treatment," Alex replied. "Works every time, after all!"
"Spies, I've located Tim Scam," Jerry announced.
"I think I better patch up things with Mat first," Dean told the spy team. "I don't think he'll feel much better until after the fact."
(Written by The Blue Time Ranger)
"I think that's a good idea," Nick replied. "I'm pretty sure Mat would be a little more receptive to you turning off the charm around us if you said so straight to his face, shall we say."
"I've programmed Scam's location into your X-Powders," Jerry proclaimed.
"All right, let's go find this nutball and crack a few eggs!" May exclaimed. "Oh, and Jerry? The Emergency Gadget Transporter worked like a charm."
"Why am I not surprised you first used it to transport your anchor?" Jerry teased as he saw May wielding the anchor.
"Come on, Jerry, I'm a Jellyfish Pirate," May giggled. "It's just part of me."
With that, the rest of the spies set out to find Scam yet again, while Dean stayed behind to talk to Mat.
"I'm glad to hear your injury isn't serious," Dean started, but Mat wasn't into it mentally.
Mat didn't even say a word.
"Hey, if it makes you feel any better," Dean stated. "I'm not seeing Sam on the side, or even Alex or Clover for that matter."
"How do you explain their crushes, then?" Mat finally asked.
"I guess my charm really leads them on," Dean answered. "But, hey, I was told about your relationship with her from Jer well in advance."
"I told him right away," Jerry stated, backing up Dean.
Mat sighed, but he was still upset over Scam putting him out of commission; he did believe Jerry, though, because... why would Jerry lie, after all?
"I'm just glad Sam found someone like you," Dean stated. "I am in a different W.O.O.H.P. division, so I'm only with the girls every so often."
Hearing "different W.O.O.H.P. division" caught Mat's attention. "You serious?" he asked.
"Dead serious," Dean answered. "I may have double and triple-crossed the girls before, but I did what I had to do to get you promoted to Super Spies."
Now, Mat really was listening to him.
"You mean you're really higher up in the food chain then?" Mat asked.
"In a matter of speaking, yes, you can say that," Dean answered.
Mat was beginning to feel better.
"I know you're in a relationship with Sam," Dean continued. "But you wanna tell me how serious it is?"
Mat nodded on it and started to tell Dean everything he'd done for Sam.
Meanwhile...
"I'm seriously hoping that he'll learn his lesson this time and stay in his cell once we're done with him," Sam growled.
"Sammy, you know our track record with that kind of thing, right?" Clover quipped.
"Hey, even if they don't learn their lesson, we'll just keep stomping them until they do," Nick responded.
"You know what I'd really like?" Alex cut in. "For once, I'd like to fight a villain that isn't already part of our rogues gallery! It'd just feel fresh, instead of spending all this time whooping on old enemies who never learn their lesson."
"What lessons haven't I learned, exactly?" Scam proclaimed as he made his presence known.
"For one, you never seem to learn that we always beat you," Alex replied.
"Two, you obviously think we're going to bend to your whims and just hand off our leader to you," Nick continued, his aura flaring to life.
"And finally, and most important, you think that you're going to be the cause of me and Mat losing each other," Sam finished. "Well, bad news, mister psycho, that is never happening! Mat and I are staying together forever, and no one, especially not you, is going to drive us apart!"
Scam simply smirked as he took a step closer, only for May to swing her anchor in a downward swipe that forced him to back away.
"You know this is gonna hurt if I get to whack you with it," May growled. "You'd better stop trying to mess up Sammy's relationship, unless you want this upside your head!"
"Oh, don't you start with me, pirate girl," Scam laughed. "You have no right to talk about relationships when you're clearly intruding on the other boy's. I thought you teenagers were better than that."
Nick's only response was a super-charged Final Shine Attack to Scam's chest that smashed him into a nearby wall.
"I'm gonna have you shut the hell up right there," Nick proclaimed. "You clearly must have missed a few chapters, because May's not 'intruding' on anything."
"Yeah, don't think your dumb mind games are going to work on us now!" Alex exclaimed.
"I guess you really do want my anchor upside your head, huh?" May taunted.
"Actually, I've got a better idea," Nick replied, extending his hands so May and Alex could take them. The three of them slowly floated into the air, surrounded by a bubble of psychic energy.
"You think I'm going to let you?" Scam laughed, only to be frozen in place by a blast of Immobilizing Stun-Tan Lotion.
"Actually, yes, you are," Nozomi teased.
Nick suddenly flew forward, with Alex and May alongside him. The bubble surrounding them grew brighter and brighter the closer they got to Scam, and after a shared battle cry, the three spies smashed into Scam, the bubble exploding violently and sending Scam tumbling down the hallway, clearly showing signs of damage now.
"And stay down this time, fool!" May shouted. "We're seriously sick of you baddies taking all this punishment despite it being twelve against one! What, are you secretly bulking up with those dumb candy bars?!"
"I see no reason to tell you," Scam gasped, trying to still confident despite his obvious exhaustion. That last attack had hurt like hell, after all. "But we will sadly have to pick this up another time."
"Oh, I don't think so," Sam shot back. "You're not getting away from us this time!"
(From Mat49324)
"Maybe I can," Scam sneered. "I have some help with me, too."
A second villain came out of hiding – an enemy that made the main spies' jaws drop.
"THE GREAT KANDINSKY?!" Sam and Clover exclaimed.
"Scam broke YOU out, too?!" Alex exclaimed in disbelief.
"Oh gosh, this train keeps on giving!" Melissa exclaimed.
"One thing's for sure, Scam knows what he's doing," Dawn remarked.
"Thank you," Scam sneered. "And thanks to this guy, I WILL get what I want."
"Not on your life!" Alex exclaimed. "Sammy's OFF LIMITS to YOU, Scam!"
"And nothing you do will change that!" Clover added.
"Careful, guys," Britney stated. "This Kandinsky guy sounds like some sort of magician."
It made sense since the spy team hadn't heard of Britney at the time.
"I can take you, Kandinsky," Nick stated, recalling how well he handled James' invisibility tactic. "If James' tactic was beatable, YOU are beatable, too!"
"Totally!" Alex quipped. "We took you once before... and we can do it again!"
"Good luck trying to find us," Kandinsky sneered and threw down a smoke bomb.
The smoke engulfed the spy team.
Thankfully, Bridget thought ahead and threw a butterfly tracking device on Kandinsky just before he got away with Tim Scam. Nick threw down a short-range psychic pulse to blow the smoke away.
"Son of a bitch!" Haruka swore. "Those sons of bitches got away!"
"We can track them down though," Bridget stated and got out her X-Powder. "Thanks to me, courtesy of a tracking device."
It took a little while, but Bridget finally got a ping on the two villains.
"Looks like they're in Sector Eight," Bridget stated.
Sam got out her X-Powder. "Jerry, the situation took an unexpected turn!"
"What happened?" Jerry asked.
"Tim Scam is totally in cahoots with another villain," Clover responded.
"The Great Kandinsky," Alex finished.
"Oh my!" Jerry remarked. "And I'd just gotten a report from the W.O.O.H.P. Containment Facility simultaneously."
He checked his computer simultaneously.
"Good thinking, too, Bridget," Jerry remarked. "I've sent the coordinates from the tracking device to your X-Powders. I'll also send out Dean back to join you, agents."
"Thanks, Jer," Nozomi quipped.
"Before you go, Jerry," Sam stated. "Is Mat feeling better?"
"Not to worry, Sam," Dean stated, coming next to Jerry. "I've patched up things with Mat, and he's feeling better."
"I'll send the W.O.O.H.P. Medical Staff to continue to tend to Mat," Jerry added. "Return to my office, and bring Dean up to speed, too."
The spies did so. While Dean was brought up to speed, Sam went to find Mat to talk to him.
"I think I can put a little pressure on my leg," Mat said when Sam asked him how he was doing. "It still hurts inside that I'm sidelined though."
"We're doing this for you, Mat-honey," Sam stated.
Mat grinned about the friends in his corner; he knew he made the right choice in staying in Beverly Hills, especially when he'd found true love in Sam. Mat then showed his appreciation by stroking Sam's cheek. Sam returned the favor by leaning down to kiss Mat.
"Sam, let's hit it!" May reminded.
"Coming," Sam quipped.
She and Mat shared a final kiss; would their promise remain fulfilled?
"He's doing something right with you, Sam, that's for sure," Dean stated to Sam. "Mat told me everything he's done for you and I'm shocked."
(Written by The Blue Time Ranger)
"That's the sign of a wonderful boyfriend," Sam admitted.
"And, honestly, Sam, I'm sorry if my natural charm put any relationship doubt in your heads," Dean answered. "I wouldn't do something like that to you on purpose, ever."
"I think Mat was just worried that it would happen even if you didn't mean to do it," Nick stated. "Guess you're lucky that I didn't act like that, huh?"
"Yeah, man, those psychic powers of yours are amazing," Dean admitted. "You'll have to tell me the whole story when we've got some time!"
"I'll be sure to do that," Nick laughed. "In the meantime, though, we've got some villains to knock around."
"Yeah, let's go kick some ass!" May proclaimed.
Using Bridget's X-Powder, the team followed the tracking beacon's signal to Sector Eight, where Scam and Kandinsky were looking for something.
"Hey, freak shows, you lost?" Nick shouted, catching the two villains' attention. "Because I've got an ideal place for the both of you to head back to."
"Oh, please, boy, don't think you intimidate me," Kandinsky laughed. "I am a master of magic and illusions. Your feeble mind could not hope to comprehend the powers I possess!"
Nick just smiled; apparently, Kandinsky didn't know him very well.
"Oh, really?" Nick retorted, throwing his arms out and unleashing his psychic aura. And Nick definitely took some pride in seeing Kandinsky take a few steps back, as if he was intimidated.
"You didn't tell me he had powers, too!" Kandinsky growled.
"I figured he was insignificant to one of your talent," Scam admitted.
"You want to see real magic, Kandinsky?!" Nick proclaimed. "Because I'll show you real magic!"
"If that is how you wish to play, boy, then let us begin!" Kandinsky laughed, waving his magic wand as he ran toward the spies, then casting a spell to create at least ten duplicates of himself.
"Oh, this is gonna be fun, isn't it?" Bridget groaned.
"Bridget, you keep Scam in check, okay?" Haruka shouted. "We'll mop up mister magician!"
"Roger that," Bridget replied, transforming into Sonic Mode and dashing off after Scam, who was, predictably, trying to slip away while the other spies battled Kandinsky.
All of Kandinsky's clones laughed condescendingly before closing in on the spy group.
"Well, this stinks! How do we figure out which one's the real one?!" Clover exclaimed.
Nick stood still for a moment, focusing on his psychic power to read Kandinsky's mind and hoping it would expose the real one.
As Nick suspected, the only mental thoughts were coming from the real Kandinsky. Nick pointed to the one to the left of May, and she leaped to attack with a flying kick, sending Kandinsky stumbling and temporarily dispelling the clones.
"H-How did you figure me out?!" Kandinsky gasped.
"Psychic powers, remember?" Nick shot back, firing off a Final Shine Attack, only for it to pass through Kandinsky as he vanished.
Nick focused his mind for a second, trying to predict where Kandinsky would pop up.
Naturally, Kandinsky appeared right behind him, and Nick responded by way of a foot to the magician's stomach that dazed him long enough for Sam and May to attack with a double flying kick.
Elsewhere, Scam looked upwards towards seemingly nothing in particular, only to be stopped when Bridget came charging by and landed a right hook to his face.
"You're not going anywhere," Bridget proclaimed.
"Ah, the track star comes back for more," Scam laughed.
"What, are you getting nostalgic?" Bridget responded. "You were the very first baddie that got a taste of Sonic Mode, after all. And now, it's time for free seconds!"
Scam attempted to reach for a weapon, but Bridget still held the speed advantage, lunging to and fro and attacking Scam on every pass. After about seven strikes, Bridget finished the combo with a high jump kick that sent Scam sprawling.
"Now, are you going to take my friends' advice and give it up?!" Bridget asked. "You're only hurting yourself otherwise."
"Sorry to burst your bubble, girl, but I have no intention of giving up my queen," Scam laughed, reaching for a button in his pocket and pressing it. "Though I had hoped to save this for a future endeavor, I realize now that I must take drastic measures if I am to fulfill this goal, since you don't seem to understand."
"What did you say?!" Bridget shouted, dashing forward only to throw a punch at empty air. "Damn him and his stupid teleporters!"
Back in Sector Eight, Nozomi leaped over another blast of magic from Kandinsky and leaped into the air to a handstand on his shoulders before falling down and driving her feet into his stomach.
"Just hang up the hat already!" Nick shouted. "Your dumb stage magic is clearly no match for what I've got up my sleeve!"
Before Kandinsky could retaliate, he heard a voice come through the earpiece on his ear, then turned to the spies and grinned evilly.
"Well, I'd love to stay and play this exciting game," Kandinsky proclaimed with heavy sarcasm. "But, if you'll excuse me, I have a flight to catch."
Kandinsky threw down a flashbang to cover his tracks. Nick was able to create a shield to stop the light from blinding the spies, but by the time it cleared, Kandinsky had made his escape.
"Drat him!" Haruka growled. "Why is it always the disappearing act with you dumb 'magicians'?!"
"Scam pulled the same trick, too," Bridget stated, having just rejoined the group. "I was about to knock him silly, but he teleported away. Where, though, is the twenty million dollar question here..."
"Spies, do you read me?" Jerry's voice crackled through Sam's X-Powder.
"Loud and clear, Jerry," Sam answered. "Do you have a bead on our two villains?"
"That's what I called you for," Jerry responded. "Come back to my office. You may want to see this."
The spy team moved lickety-split back to Jerry's office so they could figure out what exactly was happening.
The large viewscreen was displaying an image high above the skies of Beverly Hills, the sky itself crowded with what appeared to be a small squadron of large, high-tech looking airships.
"What in the hell?!" May shouted. "Where did those come from?!"
"Apparently, it has something to do with an invisibility cloaking device that Scam had stolen before his last arrest," Jerry stated. "That's how we didn't detect them earlier."
"And what, pray tell, do they plan to do with those airships?" Nick wondered.
"I'm very glad you asked that, spies."
Jerry's viewscreen distorted to show a video of Scam and Kandinsky standing in what was no doubt one of the airship's control center.
"All right, you, what's your damage now?!" Sam exclaimed.
"Simple, my lovely," Scam replied in such a way that made Sam shudder in disgust. "We will use these airships to utterly destroy Beverly Hills if you don't surrender to my whims."
"WHAT?!" Sam, Alex, and Clover shouted.
"It's official," Dawn sighed. "He's lost his mind."
"And don't think we're bluffing," Kandinsky laughed. "You don't want to see what these can do."
"But since I have some form of compassion for the woman who's going to be my queen, I will give you an hour to make your choice," Scam proclaimed. "Either be mine, or your precious city pays the price. Either way, I look forward to your decision."
The video cut out soon after.
"Ooh, that sleazeball," Sam growled. "He's out of his gourd!"
"What was your first clue, Sammy?" Clover teased.
"I think the real question here is how do we take care of this problem?" Bridget asked.
"The only way there really is," May proclaimed. "We head up to those airships and we show those nutballs what for. Because no way in hell is Sammy gonna give herself up to that freak! Right, Sammy?"
"Never in a million years or ever," Sam replied. "Mat's the only man for me, and that's a fact!"
"Okay, now that we've decided to 'storm the castle', as it were, here's another question," Haruka replied. "How, exactly, do we get up there without alerting the nuts that we're sneaking in?"
"I can take care of that," Nick answered. "Jerry, we're heading out. Keep Mat safe, got it?"
"You can count on me," Jerry replied.
The spies eventually made it to W.O.O.H.P.'s roof, where they could clearly see the armada of airships hovering high in the skies over their beloved city.
"How is no one else panicking yet?" Nozomi wondered.
"Probably 'cause they can't see them yet," Melissa replied. "Otherwise, it'd be total chaos."
"All right, everybody, we're going up," Nick proclaimed. "Stick close to me, 'kay?"
The spies all grouped up close to Nick as he raised his hands to encase them all in a large psychic bubble that began to float into the air, towards the airships.
To be concluded...

Next time on Totally Spies: Promises Kept...
Haruka: Well, peeps and cronies, the countdown is on!
Nozomi: We've got two villains to stop before they go all Mario 3 on our hometown!
Alex: And how much do you wanna bet they have some super-secret monstrosity to spring on us?
May: Um, Alex? ...well...
Nick: Okay, I was not expecting that.
Scam: But of course, you wretched spies! Every villain worth their salt has a trump card to play, after all.
Kandinsky: Just accept your fate, spies. You've lost.
Sam: Not a chance in hell, you freaks! We've trashed more than our fair share of airships, and yours are no different!
Nick: It all comes down to this, next time on the final act of Totally Spies: Promises Kept, "Together Forever"!
May: Time to shape up or ship out, you... *sigh* ...I'll be right back. *walks away*
Alex: Um, she's not going to hurt the script writer, is she?
Nick: I think she's had enough of her getting saddled with all the dumb puns, honestly.
