The girl trudged through the snow towards the only buildings for miles. She knew that she was lost—had no memory—had no name. But she did know that she needed to find help.
It wasn't cold outside, not to her, but she covered herself up with a sheet because she felt this sense of wrongness leaving her body for the people at the buildings to see her. She hoped they would help her. It didn't seem like she could go anywhere else.
The men surrounded her as she approached the buildings. She didn't understand the language, but knew that they thought she needed help.
She did, but not the help they thought she needed.
Later, she was wrapped in a large coat and seated in a room with five other men. A large, imposing man in a uniform walked in and looked her over. She took a sip from the cup in her hands. Whatever it was, it was good. And warm.
"Vy uvereny, chto eto ne Supergirl?" the man, who seemed to be in charge, asked the others standing before her.
One of the men shook his head. "Eto ne ona."
"Day yey nemnogo odezhdy," the man said as he turned to leave. "Zavtra my nauchim nashu malen'kuyu snezhnuyu ptitsu govorit' na nashem yazyke."
Suddenly, she remembered something. It wasn't exactly a memory, more of a name. Alex.
She said it, "Alex," and felt warmth and happiness spread through her. "Alex."
The man left the room, leaving the girl with the men. They ushered her out of the room and gave her clothes—a gray shirt and pants with red stripes. It was comfortable, allowed her to move easily, and she liked the way it looked on her. They left her in a room, with a bed and a table with a lamp on it. She forced herself to sleep, knowing in the morning she would get answers.

I just don't want to post my stuff all in one day because then I'll have nothing to post. And this was meant to be read in short segments.
