As they walked through New Rome people stopped and stared at the group. The Lars were not happy to see graeci in Rome. While they walked people stopped to talk to the praetor's about different things, so getting where they needed took twice as long.
"Greeks we are going into the senate. All you need to do is go to the left side of the room and sit there. We will do the talking. Understand?" Reyna questioned the Greeks. All of them nodded there heads signaling they understood.
When everyone was seated the meeting started. All the Greeks introduced themselves, and the Romans also introduced them selves.
"Romans! The Greeks have come for help in there war! We must vote if we are to help them. It's up to you whether we help them or not!" Percy told the senate. They all talked in hushed voices as well as a bit of Latin since the Greeks didn't understand.
After a few minutes Gwen turned back to the praetor's. "If we help them how does it affect us and are gods? Will this be a permanent alliance between the Romans and Greeks? Or is it just a one time thing?" Gwen voiced the few questions the senate had for the praetor's and Greeks.
The two praetor's talked for a bit. Most of the conversation was in fast Latin. It was so fast the Romans didn't understand it, except a few choice words.
Finally the praetor's stopped talking and looked back at the senate, "We will be making this an alliance forever. I have gotten word from my mother that the gods are okay with us doing this. If we can do this we will win the war coming up against Terra," Percy said before turning to the Greeks, "so Greeks are you willing to work with us. If you say yes then we have rules that you need to know about. Make your decision fast."
The Greeks all talked in Ancient Greek. After a few minutes of there talking Percy looked like he was going to tell at them soon. All the Romans were confused why Percy was upset. There questions were answered as soon as he spoke,
"Δεν θα μιλήσετε ξανά για τους Ρωμαίους σε αυτή τη μορφή. Προσφέρουμε ιερό και βοήθεια στον πόλεμο. Πάρτε την ευκαιρία ή αφήστε τώρα." Percy yelled. he looked ready to kick out all the Greeks in a heart beat. (You will not talk about the Romans again in this form. We offer sanctuary and help in war. Take the opportunity or leave now.) The Greeks just stared at him dumbfounded. They didn't think he remembered any Greek seeing as he looked and acted more Roman now.
Annabeth was the stupid one to talk after her shock, "Δεν τους εμπιστευόμαστε! Γιατί πρέπει να είναι ρωμαϊκή βρωμιά! Δεν ξέρω για σας, αλλά θυμάμαι μια εποχή που ήσασταν Έλληνας. Έχει περάσει αυτή η φορά? "she asked. All the Greeks we're praying for her to let her pride fall before she got them all killed.(We don't trust them! Why should we they are Roman filth! I don't know about you but I remember a time when you were a Greek. Is that time over? )
"Δεν είμαι ούτε Έλληνας ούτε Ρωμαίος. Είμαι και τα δύο! Μπορείτε να εκτελέσετε Camp Half-Blood αλλά τρέχω τη Νέα Ρώμη καθώς και τη λεγεώνα. Επιλέξτε λοιπόν βοήθεια και ιερό ή όχι και πηγαίνετε σπίτι! " Percy responded almost immediately. He was done with there games. They either get the help that they want or they don't get it. ( I'm not a Greek nor Roman. I'm both! You may run Camp Half-Blood but I run New Rome as well as the legion. So pick help and sanctuary or neither and go home! )
The Greeks talked for a few more minutes. After about 10 minutes Chiron talked for the first time, "Praetor's we have decided to except your help. As well as this alliance."
"Okay then you will be sorted into cohorts. If you must stay behind to talk to someone do so. Other wise this meeting is dismissed!" Reyna relied relieved that it wasn't more of a fight then she thought it would be.
Slowly the Romans filled out. After 5 minutes it was just the Greeks and two praetor's. The same thought running through their head 'what are we going to do now.' There all sitting there staring at Percy with eyes either full of tears, anger, or relief.
After staring at each other for a bit. Annabeth opened her stupid mouth again before anyone could stop her, "Why would you cheat on me Percy? Especially with such a downgrade?" three Greeks just stared at her wide eye. She just insulted a praetor and his wife.
Reyna was scared Percy would leave her for Annabeth. She thought it made sense. The other girl was way more beautiful. She was a daughter of Minerva, wait sorry Athena. So she was way smarter. What guy wouldn't want Annabeth instead of Reyna.
Percy was pissed. Annabeth just insulted his wife! Who was 10,000 times better than her. Sure Annabeth was pretty but Reyna was gorgeous! Reyna was also smarter than her, even if she wasn't a daughter of Athena. After a few minutes Percy finally snapped at her.
