"This is Christina Damon." Mrs. Brinks said.
"That's Chrissy to you!" Chrissy hissed and sat down in an empty seat next to Bubbles and Robyn. The teacher started talking about what they would do today, but Darla and her friends wanted to talk to Chrissy.
"Hi Chrissy!" Robyn whispered and waved to her.
"Who are you?" Chrissy asked rudely.
"Hey! That's not very nice!" Bubbles said.
"What do you expect? She's a spoiled brat, just like me and Darla." Monty said.
"Nobody better be talking!" Mrs. Brinks yelled. The kids stopped talking and paid attention.
At recess Malachi was on the swings, Monty was picking on other kids, and Chrissy was walking around the playground. Robyn, Bubbles, Tanya, Lulu, and Darla were going to follow her.
Eventually Chrissy noticed they were following her. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" She yelled. Bubbles and Robyn were too nervous and ran off.
"We're sorry, Chrissy." Lulu spoke. "We only want to be your friend."
"I don't NEED any friends!" Chrissy glared.
"Come on, Darla. This is hopeless! Bubbles and Robyn ran off, let's go too." Lulu said.
"Yeah! This girl's no fun." Tanya added.
"You can go, but I'm going to help her. I think she's a lot like me." Darla said. Lulu and Tanya shrugged and walked away to find their friends. Darla went to catch up with Chrissy. She remembered what Monty said. What do you expect? She's a spoiled brat, just like me and Darla. "That's right! She was spoiled, just like me. I can help her!" Darla thought aloud.
"Chrissy, I can tell you're spoiled. You get everything you want. Is there something wrong?" Darla asked. Chrissy paused for a moment.
"Well...I'm a pop star." She whispered. Darla gasped.
"Really?! I was too!"
"You were?" Chrissy asked.
Darla nodded. "I was Darla Dimple; America's sweetheart lover of children and animals."
"That's cool, but my family is losing money, and my career is being ruined. I couldn't be home schooled anymore." Chrissy explained.
