Once out, they found their way to school, which like Sora stated it didn't take long at all and they made it on time.
However, before they made it to the You Show Pendulum School, gotten into a predictable, yet annoying
"Sweety! Our fates let us meet again!" A red hair, Gothic-Lolita came from no where and hugged Yuya, causing him to take a few steps back and spin a bit, trying not fall down.
"Ah, Mieru?" Yuya uttered with a shaky tone as the red hair girl still held on to him.
"Yeah, darling. My cards told me that I would ran into you here. Now that we have, we could stay like this forever."
As the Pendulum duelist tried tried get the hugging girl off of him, Yuzu held out her fan, glaring her friend and acquaintance.
"Better get you hands off of him Mieru?" Yuzu demanded.
At that moment, the pink hair girl swung her fan at the two before the red eyed duelist ran, while the Gothic girl still clung to him and Sora watching the scene go on.
Now at Yuya's first class, duel lectures with Yuzu's dad, Skip.
"Now could an tell me how to pendulum summon?" Yuzu's dad asked.
"While he's doing that, I'll combine this sardine on a stick with this chocolate pudding."
Yuya looked over and found that Sora was playing mad scientist with his food again, staring at the smaller lad with a 'not this again' face before lying his head down on his desk.
After that, it was Dennis' action duel lessons, Yuya ran up to his dueling instructor. "Hey, you finally made it, I see." Dennis greeted the entire class.
"Yeah, Mr. Higari wanted us to make an essay on pendulum dueling."
"It's quiet alright. Now, let the show go on."
"Right."
Gong, the transfer student and Yuya's best friend was the first to bat. The bulky teen done his best, but Dennis took him out. The next duelist to be out shone was the other transfer student and who came from the Fusion school, Sora, though he was putting up even more of a fight with the duel teacher. Yuzu step next, but lost by unable to get to an action card in time. Now it was Yuya's turn to take center stage.
Yuya tensed his muscles, getting ready for heck of an Action Duel, after all Dennis also came from the Fusion school and was one of the Instructors before he decided that he wanted a duel tanner and an Action duel instructor.
"Let's see, I know, how about we change the field to something more fun and games." Dennis said.
Dennis put a card out on the field. Soon the area changed to a more scaled up version of a gambler's dream; giant roulette wheels, big poker chips, and huge playing cards all around.
"Let's duel." The instructor and student said at the exact same time.
The action duel was set and the two started the duel.
After some back and forth between monsters, life points, and out doing the other, Yuya had just gotten the Action card on a poker chip. "What? no."
He couldn't believe what he gotten, the action trap, Chance Chance Love Hate.
Just then, a three giant cups appeared right in front of him. One of the cups levitated up, to show a red ball before going back down. The cups spin all around and through each other until they suddenly stopped. Next numbers that looked like they were ripped out of a digital clock flashed up in between Yuya and the cups.
The numbers said ten, then nine, then eight.
Yuya put a finger to his lip, while he try to think were the ball would be. However, before he could, the numbers hit zero and he was hit with a giant ball that was about as big as he was and lost a good deal of his life points at the same time.
"Now Performage Trapeze Witch bring this show to an end?" Dennis commanded his monster.
The fusion monster jump up a grab hold on to a trapeze swing. Trapeze Witch swung back and then forward. It let go and put a foot in front hitting the younger duelist sending him backwards and on to the ground.
At that moment. Yuya's life points hit zero and area went back to the way it was.
Yuya soon sat up, but had a sadden face. Now what was he going to do?
"That was a good show Yuya, but you need to have a bit more faith in yourself with some luck." Dennis said with his usual calm-yet happy manner.
"Thanks Dennis." The red eyed duelist uttered, feeling a little more better.
