Chapter 2: A New Beginning

Anakin is having another dream/vision:"

Execute Order 66"

"Where is Padme, Is she safe. Is she alright."

It seems in your anger you killed her."

"Liar."

"The Republic will be reorganized into the first Galatic Empire."

"No, I am your father."

"I wont leave you, not this time."

"It will be done my Lord."

"This is how Democracy dies, with thunderous applause."

"The Jedi must end."

"The Sith Empire will rise again."

"Father I know there is good in you let go of your hate."

"He is the Chosen One."

"I love you."

"Traitor."

"It is too late for me son."

"You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them. bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness."

Anakin suddenly woke up. Tears filling his eyes. He is out of breath, and panting for air. Sweating uncontrollably. This was no

nightmare. It felt real, like he witnessed these things and been through it already.

Anakin quickly jumped out of his bed and called out to the force.

"Yes young skywalker." said the presence.

Anakin still in shock and feeling nauseated said, "What are these visions Im having."

"Follow me. To the temple grounds we go. Your training shall commence. All your questions and issues shall be answered."

Obi-Wan issued a emergency meeting early in the morning. The Jedi Council were confused and curious as to why Master Kenobi issued a meeting like this. He usually never does.

Obi-Wan got out of his bed and put on his Jedi Robes. He looked over to his right and still saw no Anakin at his side. The guilt and sadness poured over the man. He thought to himself, "I taught him everything I know, and yet he still fell." Obi-Wan placed his hand on his forehead. He felt empty. Ever since Anakin's connection with him was severed, Obi-Wan feels light-headed and out of it.

He quickly exited his room and headed to the High Council Chamber. When he reached the Chamber he was greeted by all the Jedi Council members. Not all were present in physical form, some of them were holograms since they were offworld, fighting in the war.

Yoda greets Obi-Wan and says, "Hello Master. Issued emergency meeting you have. Care to explain the dire situation."

Obi-Wan sighed heavily. He looked around to see all the Jedi Masters staring right at him. Obi-Wan tried to say somethinh but nothing would come out of his mouth.

Mace Windu got tired of this and said, "Master Kenobi you better have something to say. Because if you dont, you will recieve a suspension for issuing a false emergency meeting. We are fighting a war, we dont have time."

Obi-Wan blurted out, "ANAKIN HAS TURNED TO THE DARK SIDE."

The entire council gasped in shock and horror. Yoda looked saddened and disappointed. Others looked terrified. Mace looked smug like he expected Anakin to turn to the dark side.

Luminara budges in and says, "Care to explain Master."

Obi-Wan put his hand on his forehead and said, "I woke up in the middle of the night. I felt a sudden change in the force, like something vanished from me. I look around my shared room and see Anakin isnt in his bed. I start to worry, so I try to call Anakin through the force. But when I did, I didnt feel anything. My connection with my apprentice has been severed. I freaked out and tried to figure out all the possible answers to the problem. I then figured out Anakin was pretending to be a bodyguard for Senator Amidala on her mission to Scipio. If anyone knew where he went it would be her. So I went to her residency and started to talk to her. Then she told me everything." Obi-Wan couldnt finish the rest.

Ki-Adi-Mundi said, "Master Kenobi, what did she say, we need to know."

Tears started to glisten in Obi-Wan's eyes, "She told me that her and Anakin were married."

The entire council went into shock again. Mace Windu spoke up and said, "Is this true Obi-Wan."

Obi-Wan nodded his head, "Yes it is. They been married ever since Genosis. When Senator Amidala was with Rush Clovis on Scipio. Rush tried to kiss the Senator. When he did Anakin walked in and grew in enraged. Senator Amidala said she saw a yellow tint in his eyes, she said he looked darker and more evil. Anakin nearly killed Clovis. Padme got really mad at Anakin and they had a fight. She said that they cant be together and that she is going to report him to the Jedi Council. He then ran out the door and probably disappeared after that. It seems to me that my apprentice has fell to the dark side."

Yoda shook his head and said, "Tragic day this is. Young Skywalker tormented by the dark side he is. Important that we attain him as soon as possible."

Aayla Secura turned to Yoda and said, "Master, he is probably too dangerous and vile. He will be hard to attain back especially if he turned."

Mace looked sternly at Aayla and said, "If we cant attain him, then he will be killed."

Obi-Wan yelled out, "No you cant kill Anakin."

Mace spoke up back and said, "Dont let your attachment with your old padawan stray you from the fact that he turned to the dark side and is very dangerous. He must die. He will be of great danger to the Republic and Jedi Order."

Obi-Wan nodded his head in compliance. No matter how saddened Obi-Wan is at Anakin's turning and how he would never want to see him die, if he must be killed for the safety of the republic and the Jedi then he will agree with it.

Yoda slammed his cane down and said, "Darkness envelops us. The Clone Wars is raging on and now our own has turned to the dark side. Terrible times are ahead, but we must stay strong. The Jedi will never die."

Mace then said, "Council is dismissed for now, until further meetings." Everyone leaves the council chambers. Obi-Wan knows he has to go tell Padme of the verdict of the Council's decision. He is already on his way to her residency.

Anakin reached the temple grounds and sat down in a meditation stance. He called out to the force to come to him and guide him. He felt the force envelope him and flow through his body. He felt now calm and secure.

"Your training has begun." said the presence.

Anakin looked confused but unphased, "How I didnt do anything."

"Search your feelings Anakin, and concentrate on your thoughts. Grow deeper in the force and answers will appear."

Anakin then breathed in and out. He concentrated on his thoughts and emotions. He let the force guide him. Anakin was feeling lots of emotions hate, anger, disgust, love, joy, compassion, passion, gracefulness, irritation. He pondered with these emotions and didnt understand what they were supposed to symbolize.

"These emotions you feel are your gateway to the force. Do not hide or weaken these emotions, but do not let these emotions rule over you. You are the balance. The Jedi have no emotion and the Sith only have emotion. You must learn to balance the two." said the force presence

Anakin breathed, "How can I do this."

"You must find this out yourself Anakin. I am not your master, mentor, or friend. I am the force. I flow through you and strengthen you. I can guide you, but you must make your own decisions." said the force presence.

Anakin nodded his head in agreement. He had to learn now that he must teach himself. He has been an apprentice and slave all his life, but now he has freedom, power, strength, and love. He can choose his own decisions and the path of his life without any interference. He can fulfill his duty without any setbacks.

"Do you want to know why you have those dreams." The force questioned Anakin.

Anakin opened his eyes and looked desperate. He wanted to know so bad, "Yes Please. These visions haunt me, it makes me feel like I was there."

"Those visions you have Anakin was your original destiny."

Anakin looked shocked and dumbfounded, "So you are saying that I will experience all of this."

"No, that was destiny if you stayed with your old life. The Jedi and your relationships would make you fall to the dark side easily. The sith lord Sidious would easily persuade you to the dark side and you would have unleashed mayhem and destruction to the galaxy. You would have brought balance to the force in the end, but at the cost of billions maybe a trillion of lives."

Anakin fell to the ground in a daze. He couldnt believe what he heard. He started to sweat again. "If I would of stayed with the Jedi, I would of done all that."

"Yes you would of. But that doesnt matter anymore. You are one with the force now young one. You are on the path of your true destiny. You are a Sentinel of the Force. Dont let that hinder your performance." said the force.

Anakin got up and said, "So when do I start my training, so I can fight off the evil in the galaxy."

"You already have, and you are almost done."

Anakin confused again said, "What I dont understand."

"Listen to this code Anakin" said the force:

"There is no dark side, nor a light side, there is only the Force.

"I will do what I must to keep the balance."

"There is no good without evil, but evil must not be allowed to flourish."

"There is Passion, Yet Peace."

"There is Serenity, Yet Emotion."

"Chaos, Yet Order."

"I am the wielder of the flame, the protector of balance."

"I am the holder of the torch, lighting the way."

"I am the keeper of the flame, soldier of balance."

"I am the guardian of balance."

"I AM A SENTINEL."

"This code, Anakin you must follow with all your heart and mind. This is your guide. I will no longer speak with you anymore. You must continue your journey without me. Your training is finished, the force following within you is as strong as ever." said the force presence.

Anakin took in all the information. He recited the code 3 times. He knew that this would be his guide. He knew that he will be making his decisions from now on and he will do it for the balance of the force. Anakin yelled out, "I AM A SENTINEL."

Darth Sidious is talking with his apprentice Darth Tyranneus. "My young apprentice, I sense a strong disturbance in the force. Do you have any explanations."

"No master, but I sensed it too. It feels like a dark side energy but a light one at the same time." said Dooku.

Palpatine rubbed his chin and said, "Interesting, investigate this we will. If we find whoever this exteremely powerful user is, we shall convert them to our cause."

"It will be done Master." Dooku said while bowing to Palpatine.

Palpatine then changed the subject, "Do you have any news on the war efforts my apprentice and most importantly our plan."

Dooku nodded and said, "Yes master, The Jedi looked reluctant. Like they lost someone of high value. They seem to stagnate, giving the Separatist Army a few key victories. The plans for our superweapon have been safely transferred to a secure location. As of right now, our plan is going accordingly."

"Good, Good my apprentice. Now we must continue to work in the shadows till the time comes for the Sith to rise again." said Palpatine smiling devilish.

"I am getting a transmission from General Grevious, I will contact you later my lord." said Dooku monotone.

"Ok my young apprentice." said Palpatine.

Obi-Wan reached Padme's residency. He knocked on the door but there was no answer. He started to pace back and forth infront of her door, when a huge change in the force occured. Obi-Wan felt it and stopped what he was doing. He thought to himself, "This disturbance is nothing I have ever felt before. It doesnt feel dark, but doesnt feel light. It feels balanced." Obi-Wan couldnt wrap his head around the feelings he was feeling. Before he could ponder even more the door suddenly opened to see Padme's handmaiden Dorme open the door.

"Master Jedi." said Dorme smiling.

"Hello, is Senator Amidala home right now."

Dorme shook her head and said, "No, she has a meeting with some senators in her office. She wont be back for a few hours. Is this something of urgent matter."

Obi-Wan shook his head, "No not really. It is more of a personal matter at best. I can come back later if that is necessary. "

"That would probably be best. I will tell Senator Amidala that you stopped by and she will contact you to come over." said Dorme.

Obi-Wan nodded his head and bowed, "Thank You and what is your name."

Padme's handmaiden bowed as well and said, "My name is Dorme nice to meet you Master Jedi."

"Nice to meet you too Dorme. I will possibly see you and Senator Amidala later then." He said with a smirk.

"I guess so then."

Obi-Wan and Dorme said bye to each other and Obi-Wan headed back to the Jedi Temple.

Anakin decided to take a walk through the forests of Yavin 4. This place will be his new home, so why not make the most of it. He walked along a trail and engulfed himself of the beautiful scenery of Yavin 4. The sun, blue skies, the trees, perfect temperature, and no sand. This was a perfect place for Anakin.

While he was walking he felt the force call to him. "Anakin." said the force.

"Yes." answered Anakin in a daze.

"A great threat is looming over the horizon. You will be hunted after by both Jedi and Sith. Your change in ideologies caused a great shift in the Force. All have felt it. You must live in the shadows." said the force.

Anakin looked dumbstuck and said, "Why would I have to hide in the shadows when I am in the middle of nowhere."

"They all still sense the presence of Anakin Skywalker the past you. You must kill of your past and start a new beginning."

Anakin sounded sternly and said, "And how will I do that."

"Fake your own death." said the force.

Anakin breathed, "Fa--KE."

"Yes, use the force to conceal your force signature and wipe out anything around you. It should remove the residue presence of your oldself therefore sending signals back to the Jedi and Sith that Anakin Skywalker has been killed. But be warned this could be deadly if done sloppy. Trust me the force and use me for your gain Anakin." said the Force.

Anakin breathed and focused. He reached through the force and visualized what he is trying to do. He then suddenly made himself transparent to the environment. He then was able to see his oldself's signature. He reached through the force and vanquished it. Now Anakin Skywalker was dead. The Chosen One is now reborn. The Sentinel of the Force.

Obi-Wan was in the Jedi Library browsing through the archives casually catching up with some history. He then felt it. Something he never wanted to. It was Anakin. He is dead. Obi-Wan fell to the floor clutching his knees to his face. He was sobbing. He was screaming, "No this couldnt have happened. He was the Chosen One."

Jocasta Nu the Cheif Librarian of the Archives heard loud sobbing and screaming and headed to investigate. She then saw Obi-Wan on the floor curled up in a ball crying and screaming. She was frightened and taken back by this. She never see Obi-Wan do this, he was always calm-demeanored.

"Master Kenobi." Jocasta Nu screamed.

Obi-Wan didnt notice anything because suddenly the outburst of emotions has caused him to pass out.

Jocasta Nu called for help and some temple guards came who quickly escorted the sickly Kenobi to the temple healers.

7 hours has passed

Obi-Wan has been unconscious for several hours. He opens his eyes slowly. When he fully opens them he sees Yoda, Mace, Padme.

Padme was holding Obi-Wan's hand and said, "Your finally awake."

Obi-Wan muttered, "Padme, I--."

Mace cut him off and said, "Whoa Whoa there.Take it easy. You dont want to hurt yourself anymore."

Obi-Wan looked confused and said, "What happened to me."

Yoda looked at him directly and said, "Unconscious you went Master Kenobi. Jedi Master Nu told me and Mace that you were crying and sobbing, care to explain."

Obi-Wan looked at everyone frightened. He knew the news would bring of massive shock and grief. He wanted to say something but no words would come out.

Padme grabbed his hand and looked at him warmly, "Its ok Obi-Wan. You can tell us. We are all here for you."

Those comforting words were all Obi-Wan needed to say what he had to say. But the aftermath of his words was something he wasnt looking forward too. He stuttered, "Anakin is dead."

Loud gasps and cries filled the recovery room. Yoda nearly fell on the floor, Padme looked like her heart was going to jump out her body and Mace pulled a face of shock that Obi-Wan has never seen before.

Mace stutterd, "How did this happen Obi-Wan."

Obi-Wan looked at him teary eyed. He started ro choke on his words, "I dont know. I was studying in the Jedi Archives and I felt it. I know it was Anakin. He faded away. He has died, either by someone else or suicide."

Padme croacked, "Suicide."

Obi-Wan nodded, "I believe it was suicide because of all the things that happened to him. He couldnt take it anymore so he ended it all."

Yoda looked saddened, "Very sad that this happened. Strong person Skywalker was. Now he is gone, the force is with him now."

Mace quickly changed his tone back to serious and addressed everyone, "We must notify the Senate and people immediately."

Obi-Wan said, "No we cant. If the people hear that the "Hero Without Fear" has died, they will start to lose faith in the war effort."

Padme spoke up and said, "No we must tell the people. We can use this tragedy to move the Senate's decision to negotiate peace with the Separatists bringing a swift end to the war."

Mace and Yoda nodded their head in agreement to Padme's statements.

Obi-Wan looked disgusted at Padme and said, "So you are going to use your husband death as a way to end the war."

Padme grew irritated and fired back, "He isnt my husband anymore Obi-Wan you know that. He changed, he fell to the Dark Side. I used to love him but it was probably for the best that he died."

Mace spoke up and said, "How many times do I have to tell you Kenobi. Stop letting your personal attachments get the best of you. Senator Amidala's statements are right. We will tell the people. We need this war to end whoever wins or loses. We loss to many Jedi and Clones to make a prolonged war feasible anymore."

Obi-Wan couldnt look at any of them. He thought to himself, "Its like they didnt even meet Anakin at all." He was my brother. He was a husband. A famous and excellent general and they are going to write it off as nothing. Obi-Wan started to grow angry but supressed it to a slight irritation.

He looked up at the 3 in his room and said, "I would like to get some rest please." in a passive agressive tone.

Yoda said, "Sleep you shall have. Important meeting you have with the Council tomorrow." Mace and Yoda walked out the room leaving just Padme and Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan didnt even want to look at her. He was disgusted by her comments. Padme came up and hugged him. She said, "I am so sorry Obi-Wan. Hope you feel better soon."

Obi-Wan muttered, "Thank You." Then Padme walked out the room leaving Obi-Wan alone in the room. Obi-Wan pulled a pillow to his ears and forced himself to sleep. He wanted to forget everything that just transpired and move on to the next thing.

Anakin was getting ready for bed when again the force called out to him.

"Anakin." said the force presence

Anakin sarcastically said, "I thought you said you wouldnt be able to talk to me again."

"Trust me, this is the last time. The deed is done. Your death has been heard. Soon the whole galaxy will know that Anakin Skywalker has died."

This thought shook Anakin at first but he was determined to start his new fresh life, "Thats good to hear."

"Yes it is, you are know a warrior of the force. A sentinel. Your training is complete. But your equipment is lacking."

Anakin tilted his head and said, "Equipment, I already have a lightsaber."

"A Jedi lightsaber. You need a new lightsaber. One that symbolizes you and you as a Sentinel." said the force presence.

"What lightsaber crystal would I need then. There isnt any others I can think of."

"The orange saber." said the force presence.

Anakin perplexed muttered, "Orange lightsaber, never heard or seen one."

"Thats because no one ever found one or used one. It is only made for one person and that is you. The orange saber's meaning describes you well Anakin."

Anakin fired back, "And what would that be."

"The orange saber symbolizes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy. It helps and strengthens a user who dealt with a broken heart, destruction of their pride and life. That is what happened to you. This saber color also symbolizes the force as a whole. That the force promotes general wellness and wellbeing. This saber symbolizes balance more than a yellow or purple saber. Those sabers are fake and schemes played by Jedi to show balance. Orange is the true balance. It is strong in both aspects of the force, light and dark."

Anakin muttered, "Oh, well where do I find this orange saber."

"In the unknown regions you must go."

Anakin sighed, "You got to be joking."

"Use the force young one. You will find it easily. Once you find the saber, it will communicate with you and you will communicate back with it. Your journey will begin at that point, to rid the galaxy of evil and bring balance to the force." said the force presence.

Anakin said, "I understand what I have to do now. My mission is set. Thank you force for your guidance and power."

"No thank you Anakin for taking this task at hand. Your destiny will bring everlasting balance to the force. You are the most important to me. Your mission will begin tomorrow. Your new set of armour will be placed when you awake. Good luck to you Sentinel."

Anakin yelled, "Wait." but the presence was already gone. He muttered to himself, "New armour and lightsaber, I sound like kriffing General Grevious."

Anakin then knew he had a big day tomorrow. He had to be ready. He got into his bed and the force enveloped him into a fast slumber. The Chosen One's Journey Shall Begin.

End of Chapter 2:

AN- I would just like to thank everyone who showed support for this fanfiction. I didnt think it would blow up as fast as it did and Im grateful for that. Usually mine fanfictions dont reach as high as this one did. This story is now the upmost importance to me since more people are tuned in into it and interested in it more than my others. I am not neglected my others but I must take the one with the most support the most of my time and thought. I hope you guys acknowledge that. PS the code i used is the grey jedi code but i changed the last part and put sentinel. I hate how they call it the Grey Jedi code it should just be called the Grey Code
