Chapter 2 – The start.
Times has always flown by her slowly, though, it had always gone by too quickly for her liking, but there had never been a simple enough time for her but she loved life and had always lived it to the fullest.
Right now, she was driving up onto her newly purchased Victorian style home, with a some on her face. She was hoping to make a fresh start, somewhere completely new and there was just something about the last couple of decades that had made her choose to get over to the continent of North America.
A short period for her, but anyone else only saw a twenty-something young woman that was only starting a new life in a rainy old town called Forks, in Washington.
The only thing that was to see what was special about this town was that she had the feeling that she may fin her two mates, she had longed to meet since the beginning.
Two, hopefully, men, who will love her, cherish her and always be there for her, and be there for the years to come.
The year was 2005, the year of hopefulness, she could feel the electricity in the air, as she placed her last moving box on the living room floor. Now all she had to wait for the moving truck that had all her other furniture, so, that she could make the house her own.
The house has five bedrooms, two of them was made to be an office slash library, that soon will hold almost all her books, many of them ancient antiques, and that right there is why all her houses had the best security systems out there. In another room, was her artsy room, where she could make something of her hobbies, then there is a guest room, and then there is the master bedroom. A media room, on the top floor, because she loved watching movies and therefor loved the modern world and the technology that came with it. Then there is the living room, three and a half bathrooms, a dining room and the kitchen.
Yes, she can eat normal human food, because she didn't need that much blood to survive, and a perk of having lived this long and because neither Traditional Vampire or Cold One's kind of Vampire, and she had never believed that her immortality as a curse, like many other vampires she had met on the road to where she is now.
"Home, Sweet Home." Izy sighed, as she plopped down on the living room's fluffy blue rug.
The thing was that she was lonely and had felt like nothing else mattered in life since her last companion had found their mates, and their own families in life but also some of them had passed away a couple of years ago. It was also some of the reasons why she wanted to move away before she needed to that is.
Softly turning away from her thoughts, she walked over to one of her unopened boxes in her living room so that she could unpack it. It also made her nostalgic to see everything and feel all the history in each piece of things she had packed. Even with everything she had discovered and explored there was a lot of things that still needed to be explored and learned.
With everything in mind, and making up her mind and as she waited on the moving truck she decided to do something that she had wanted to do for some time. She wanted to write, write out her whole life history from the beginning until the end, just so that when she found her mates could read it though thereafter just ask her simple questions and let her have a break in explaining the whole story.
Then it was back to her trusted companion, her computer with it she opened a new document and began to write down what she could remember and at least everything that had a meaning in her life.
The Life of Iza Swan.
Even with my perfect recall, I can't remember all the titles people and countries have bestowed upon me throughout the centuries. Protector, Lady Swan, Princess, Goddess of War, Warrior… just to name a few.
You've sure gotten the gist that my name is Isabella 'Iza' Marie Swan, but it hasn't always been this name I've been under, because of where I was born and the time period.
I'm a vampire, or to be more specific – I am a human born vampire. I may also be over 1000 or 2000 years old, I may even be older – who knows. Don't know but it has been a long time since I have been completely human. I'm not picky about it, as I don't even look over a hundred years old.
To people around me, I can look any age I want to be, but the age I've chosen the most I the age 24, and I am a teacher this time. History. If you catch my drift.
-OoO-
Iza sighed as she looked down at the beginning of her story because how the hell was she even going to begin writing everything that had happened in her life down so that it could make sense.
This was going to be a grimoire of their family, maybe she could get her mates to write down their own stories, for everyone in their family to read. That was a good idea, and maybe it would be a great one to share with other clans when the time came and people began to seek her out.
-OoO-
I try not to sound to egoistical here, but it is hard not to sound to overly arrogant each time I have to mention my beginning.
Everything in my life has always been weird, as I have always known that I was somewhat special, that there was something about me that no one could explain or even want to explain.
The day I was born was a sunny, overly beautiful day as it always had been a rainy town even in the summer, my parents lived in a small town in Russia. In the year 1000 BC, they quickly understood that I was special, as they said, I was a miracle to them.
My father Alexei Svon, my mother Anichka Svon, where good parents, even after all this time I miss them. I had always been incredibly beautiful, and smart maybe to smart for my good sometimes, as because of it I had many people waving for my hand in marriage.
Please remember the times back then was different, and not like now when we can truly marry anyone we want.
All I can say is that when they chose the man, that I would end up marrying me could be a lot worse.
Dmitri Kuznetsov; A blacksmith of nature.
A nice man ten years older than me, and I married for the first time at the age of fourteen – there were girls younger than me that was married away to men a lot older than me, so I considered myself lucky.
It was uncommon to find love in marriages of this time, but somehow, we found it in one another.
Being a blacksmith by trade was hard on us, but he found work pretty much everywhere he looked for it, as it was a much-needed occupation in the region where we lived and made our home with our ever-growing family.
We settled down in a city, and as I was pregnant at the time things was made a lot more difficult, but we manage, and to our surprise, I had been pregnant with twins. Two beautiful twin boys. At the age of sixteen.
Matvey Kuznetsov and Nicholai Kuznetsov.
-OoO-
Iza smiled sadly remembering everything clear as the day was blue, and it was a sweet memory as she could remember how they grew up to become some of the best in their fields, even growing up to become excellent blacksmiths.
*Knock**Knock*
"Finally!" she muttered to herself, as she walked towards the door because she could hear that the truck with all of her things had gotten here safely. So, she saved the document and opened the door for them so that they could leave her furniture on their assigned spots around her home.
After everything was placed where they belonged, she locked up the place and began to chant, placing wards over her property. Those wards would warn her of everyone that came to her house and tell her if it was hostile or just friendly people wishing to say hello. There was even award to stop people from coming in the door without permission, be it Traditional Vampires, Cold One's, humans, shapeshifters or witches, everyone had to have it.
This ward had always been essential to learn when she somehow had figured out that she had the power to protect those she loved under her roof.
Being that it was one week before the new semester was going to start up, and having nothing else to do, she took her computer and walked up to her office, that soon would be filled up to the brink with books, and began to write more of her story.
