After that meteor incident, I've resolved that I'm never going to live a normal life. But I still want to live somewhat normal, even if I use my powers from time to time. I'll go to college, get a job, buy a house, all the usual stuff. Maybe I'll even marry someone. Nah, I've never seen the appeal of love, with or without my powers. Personally, I think I'd like to be left alone. If you think about it, nothing's changed since the start of the series. Oh well, maybe today will be quiet.

"Saiki!"

And, there it is.

Kaidou was currently hovering about five feet in the air next to me and doing a pose that looks like some kind of reference.

Kaidou: I can't wait to show off all my new powers to my friends!

Just then, Nendou and Hairo showed up right on cue

"Hey, Kaidou! Congrats on your new powers!" said Hairo. Are people just used to this now?

"Up high!" said Nendou.

Kaidou lowered himself slightly and returned Nendou's high five…

...before launching him two-hundred feet backwards, creating a large gap in the road underneath and smashing into a nearby building.

"Uh…" Hairo was at a loss for words, for the first time.

Nendou brushed off the rubble and laughed.

"Ha! You're really strong, Kaidou!" How did he survive that?

"Hehe… thanks…" Kaidou nervously smiled.

Kaidou: I almost hurt my friend! I better get control of these powers or I might destroy the world without even thinking!

Don't flatter yourself. But he's got a point, supernatural powers of any kind can be really dangerous, and it looks like Kaidou's no exception. If only there was someone else with powers who can help him learn…

Oh right, me.

I sighed and extended my hand. I suppose my hands are tied.

"Restoration."

The three of them looked shocked as the road and wall repaired themselves on the spot.

"S-S-Saiki?" said Nendou.

Saiki: Yeah, it's a little freaky. But I get the feeling you guys can keep this secret.

"What secret?" Kaidou tilted his head. "The fact you have ESP?"

Kaidou: Wait, does Saiki not know that we already know about his powers?

Hairo: Saiki has ESP? Awesome! Now I have a new friend to compete with!

Saiki: What the… how did you know?

Kaidou pulled out a notebook, and to my surprise turned to a picture of me.

"See? Right here! You have Telepathy, Restoration, Psychometry, Teleportation, Levitation, Pyrokinesis…"

So, to recap, Kaidou knew about my powers all along through his chuunibyou? Maybe this is one of his powers…

Saiki: Putting that aside, It's of upmost importance that we learn the limits and strengths of your powers, so you don't end up doing anything stupid or destroying the world. Trust me, my powers have been a thorn in my back since the day I was born.

"Ah, you're overreacting!" Kaidou chuckled. "What could be wrong about being able to do this? Judgement Knights of Thunder!"

Three bolts of lightning flew out of Kaidou's hand and struck Nendou. We watched as his body lit up with electricity.

"Gigigigigigigigigi!" He exclaimed. He shook his head when it wore off. "Whew! That was a rush! Hey, maybe you should do that again some time!"

I'm pretty sure that was enough electricity to kill six elephants, and it barely bounced off one Nendou.

"Gah! Sorry Nendou!" Kaidou bowed deeply. "Maybe you're right, Saiki."

Saiki: Good. Let's go, Group Teleportation!

Group Teleportation can only be used once per a certain amount of hours. The exact equation is hours = (people being teleported (Including Saiki) *2)-number of teleports in the last three hours.)

I brought us all to the barren wasteland where I usually go to practice my powers.

"Woah, you can Teleport?" said Hairo. "That's really cool!"

Saiki: I admit it's useful, but not when it goes off randomly when I get startled.

"BOO!"

Next thing you know, I went to South Korea and back. I glared at Nendou when I returned.

Saiki: Please don't do that.,

"Sorry buddy, but it was so tempting! Where did you go, anyway?"

Saiki: South Korea.

"South Korea?" said Nendou. Then he fell on the floor laughing.

Saiki: Good grief. Anyway, Kaidou, let's start listing your powers.

"Oh, I already did that!" Kaidou pulled out his notebook again. "I have Justice Knights of Thunder, Super Strength, Super Speed, Flight, and the power to summon the Jet Black Wings to my side in order to fight." he said word for word. Wait, I thought he was the Jet Black Wings? And how old was he when he wrote that?

Saiki: Okay… let's compare our strength and speed.

"Sounds like a plan, Saiki! Windrush!" Kaidou started running off at the speed of sound.

Good grief. I dashed off after him. In about two minutes I had caught up to him. For whatever reason, he was running Naruto style.

Saiki: You do realize running like that doesn't make you faster at all? In fact, it just makes you slower.

"Only for mortals! This is the best way for the Jet Black Wings to run!" So now he's the Jet Black Wings.

Whatever. I'm running at full speed, so it looks like we're about the same.

Kaidou: Little does he know, I'm only using 65% percent of my speed. And I'm about to use 70%!

Is this Dragon Ball Z now?

Kaidou rushed right past me, and soared off into the distance.

Huh. I could've sworn being fast was my thing…

A little while later…

Saiki: Well, it's settled. You're faster than me.

"Of course, the Jet Black Wings can do anything!"

Kaidou: Holy crow, I just outran a psychic superhero!

Saiki: I'm not a superhero.

"But you help people!" said Kaidou. "Also, did you just read my mind?"

Saiki: I thought you already knew about my Telepathy.

"I know, but it's still kind of freaky."

Saiki: Now for strength.

Just then, Nendou rolled a big rock with a flat surface over.

"Let's do an arm wrestle!" he said. "I'll go against the winner!"

"Sounds like a plan!" Kaidou and I locked hands.

"3, 2, 1, go!" said Nendou.

In a matter of seconds, I planted Kaidou's hand into the rock. It was somewhat harder than a normal person, but not that much.

"Arg! Aw, come on!" said Kaidou.

"Alright, my turn!" Nendou walked up, but Hairo pushed me out of the way.

"I'll take you on, Nendou!" he said. "For we are rivals!"

"Okay, sure!" they locked arms and began. Hairo started well, but Nendou simply smiled and slowly overpowered him. Eventually, he slammed him into the rock.

"I'll get you next time!" Hairo laughed as Nendou and I locked arms.

"Alright, let's do this!" said Nendou. Man, he's confident…

Nendou was terrifyingly strong, even with my super strength. It was like going up against a mountain, and he was barely even trying. Next thing you know, I actually lost an arm wrestle. Who'd ever think that'd happen? I could've sworn being strong was my thing…

"Interesting…" Hairo nodded. "So, Kaidou is fastest, and Nendou is strongest?"

"I guess…" Nendou scratched his head.

"And Saiki has psychic powers, so that makes up for his lack of physical ability!"

What, am I the caster now? Although, it does sort of feel good to be surpassed. Almost like letting someone else carry your bag.

Teruhashi: This is it! I'm going to tell Saiki how I feel, and nothing's going to stop me!

What the… how am I hearing her thoughts all the way out here?

Nevertheless, I better go check on her. Not because I like her or anything, but if she doesn't find me, she might freak out and set the whole town ablaze, either figuratively or literally. And I don't actually want to see her, I should probably set her straight though. And it's not because I recently figured out how to turn off my X-ray vision so I can see her the way she usually is…

"Hey, buddy, you're blushing." said Nendou. No, I'm not.

"Is Saiki embarrassed about something?" said Kaidou. Not one bit.

"Hey, I think he's thinking about Teruhashi!" said Hairo. How would he know that?

"You're right, he's doing that weird thing with his face that he does every time we say something that he thinks is wrong!" That's just being smart.

Without another word, I teleported off.
