It's been 3 days since Kei kissed Kuroo, today's the second to the last day of their training camp and Kei's been acting a little distant towards Kuroo, but no one seemed to notice that. Of course except Kuroo himself, he's not used to that kind of Kei, he's still attending the extra blocking practices with them but Kei never talks to him. Kei is really quiet and everyone thinks that it's only normal that they don't talk, but Kuroo is so uneasy about that. Even for a little Kei asks him something about volleyball from time to time and these past 3 days Kei doesn't seem to see him at all, he's just like air to him.
After they're done with their extra practice Kuroo approached Kei. "Hey! You're not talking lately. What's wrong?" Kuroo smiled after saying those and grabbed his nape, of course he's feeling awkward! "It's like I talk often anyway." Kei coldly stated and drank on his water bottle. "Geez! That's cold!" Kuroo thought to himself. Kei walked attempting to leave, he's uneasy around him and wanted to get out of there in an instant. "Hey! Wait!" Kuroo grabbed his arm due to shock Kei looked back at Kuroo, "Ah I wanted to talk to you about something. Do you have a minute?" Kei's eyes were wide open because of shock to what Kuroo had said. "I knew it! I shouldn't have confessed to him! I just put myself in a really awkward position here! I should've waited for the last day to confess! What a fool Tsukishima Kei! What a fool!" Kei thought to himself. "About what?" He managed to say calmly. "Ah... You know... About us" Kuroo replied "WHAT DID YOU SAY?! KUROO TETSUROU ARE YOU FOR REAL?!" He then said to himself. The shock is evident in every inch of Kei's face. He's stone cold after hearing that. When Kuroo saw that face he then let go of his hands. "What? Now I'm confused. I couldn't completely comprehend I'm sorry. What?" Seems like Kei got his composure back and managed to say that with a sarcastic voice. "Just give me a minute later. Please." Kuroo begged, Kei rolled his eyes and nodded.
When they're done cleaning up the gym they used, Kei was waiting for Kuroo to approach him again but he didn't. "So what was that earlier? A bluff?" Kei thought to himself. They already arrived at the dining hall, still Kuroo hasn't speak a word. When Kei finished eating he stood up and gave the plate to Fukorodani's manager and bowed slightly "Thank you for the food" he casually said. He then headed towards the rooms to get an exchange of clothes and leave to take a bath. "What a scam he is. Wanting to talk huh? Talk to my hand!" Kei angrily stated inside his head. He's so deep in thought when someone grabbed his shoulders, when he turned around he saw Kuroo, who's looking on the ground.
Kuroo removed his arms from Kei's shoulder. "Tsukki, come with me on the rooftop, I'm sure no one goes there. We can talk freely there." Kuroo lift his head and met Kei's eyes. There's a void in his almost golden eyes. Kuroo started to walk towards the stairs, Kei immediately follows.
When they reach the rooftop Kuroo stopped walking and faced Kei. "Listen Tsukki, I won't repeat this again so please listen carefully." Kuroo gulped his nervousness away. "Tsukki I think I like you. I didn't know when this whole thing started I just accepted it to myself recently..." Kuroo walked towards Kei and then started talking again. "All of these feelings were so illogical for me. The first time I saw you at that Karasuno highschool gymnasium my heart started pounding like I've already played for 10 matches that day. I was so uneasy playing that time, when we fight for the ball with only a volleyball net between us? That was so exciting for me. That was... the first time I felt that way." Kuroo stopped infront of Kei and cupped his face. "That kiss, that kiss with a towel between our lips made me realize this Tsukki. I've been in love with you long ago before you even started liking me." Kuroo leaned closer and whispered "Will you forgive me if I kiss you without anything between our lips?" Kei felt Kuroo's every breath against his lips, they were looking intently at each others eyes when suddenly Kuroo closed the gap between them. Kei shut his eyes as he felt Kuroo's lips touch his, he can't hold his tears. When Kuroo distanced his face a bit he was surprised to see Kei tearing up.
"HEY! WHAT DID I DO WRONG THIS TIME?" Kuroo exclaimed histerically. Kei giggles because this man infront of him is really stupid when it comes to feelings. "This is nothing. I'm just happy that you reciprocated my feelings." Kuroo pulled Kei again to hug him. "No Tsukki, thank you for making me realize how I truly felt and for returning my love for you. I love you Tsukki." Kuroo kissed Kei on his forehead.
Kei smiled and said "I love you too... Kuroo"
