[Sunny Peak]
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro, a orange and white hamster laid on green patch on the side of Sunny Peak. It had been at least one year since Hamtaro and Bijou's last major adventure against Spat. Hamtaro could still remember most of it as if it was yesterday. How Hamtaro was clueless to Bijou's feelings, which led her to be very upset at Hamtaro. How Masquerade, AKA Jade, gave Bijou a map to find a legendary white rose, which allowed anyone to get a wish. And of course, how could Hamtaro ever forget Vine, a demonic ham ham who turned into a dragon and threaten all of his friends lives. If it wasn't for Jade saving Hamtaro at the end, Hamtaro felt that he wouldn't have been pushed to put a end to Vine's scheme.*
Hamtaro: *For the past year, Hamtaro and Bijou have been dating. A experience that was so extremely new to the clueless ham ham. He had figured out what true love is. Of course he had the support of his friends from the ham ham club house to back him up when he didn't understand what was going on, for the most part at least.*
Hamtaro: *However, for some weird reason, Hamtaro's feelings have reached a new all time high. He never told a single one of his friends this, not even Oxnard, his best friend. He signed a depressing breath, thinking what he would do if he told Bijou. Usually he would never be afraid of anything, but this? This was something he couldn't quite figure out why it made him so nervous. The feelings for Bijou was pure, and intense. He never felt this way for anyone, but Bijou.*
*While Hamtaro was lost in his day dreams, Boss and Oxnard came running up the mountain. Boss was a tan hamster with a helmet that held a crescent of a moon, and Oxnard was a grey hamster who was a bit chubby for he loved sun flower seeds.*
Boss: *pant* *pant* *Boss slows down to a walk.* There he isss! *Boss stops and turns to Oxnard, who slowly walked, and then descended to lay on his stomach.* You know, its getting really hard to find him now a days...
Oxnard: *Wheeze* *Wheeze* Yeah...I noticed...*Oxnard buried his face in the ground* Urgggh.
Boss: *Boss turned to Hamtaro and waved.* YOOO HAMTARO! Whatcha doinnngg!
Hamtaro: Heke? *Hamtaro sat up and looked at them. He smiled and got up.* Ham HA! GUYS! *He started for them* How's it go- WA- *Hamtaro didn't pay attention and he had walked off on a steep hill, causing him to slide* -AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA oof! *Boss had stuck his foot out and caught him with a stomp.*
Boss: Woah there kiddo! Don't you come here all the time? How did you not see that cliff? *Boss let go. Oxnard sat up as Hamtaro got up to dust his fur off*
Hamtaro: S-Sorry bout that... *He finished and stared at them embarrassed* Guess my mind has been running on empty lately.
Boss: MMMmmm *Boss crossed his arms as Oxnard and Hamtaro stared at him, wondering what he was thinking.* ...Something to do with Bijou?
Hamtaro: Heke?! *Hamtaro took a step back* H-How did you know?!
Boss: HAHA! *Boss threw his head back in pride* A boss like me always knows! That and um *He grabbed his chin and slightly turned away.* I...use to do the same thing...
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro just smiled* Same thing huh...*Hamtaro remembered that Boss use to like Bijou. He knew it all along when he met first Boss, however it never became a issue until Hamtaro realised that Bijou had liked Hamtaro all along. Hamtaro was just glad Boss was the forgiving type.*
Oxnard: *Oxnard pulled out a basket* SO! I know Boss wanted me to get some fat off, but I just can't run with a empty stomach! *Oxnard set the basket down, pulled a blanket out and started setting up a picnic*
Boss: *Boss clapped his paws, and sat down.* That sounds great! Don't mind if I do!
Hamtaro: Yeah me too- *Hamtaro stopped short of sitting down, and he was stunned by thought*
Boss: *Boss and Oxnard stared at him awkwardly.* ...? Something on your mind sport?
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro looked down and up with a apologetic smile* I just remember ...Bijou wanted to be with me again...
Boss: HA! *Boss fell over and laid there* You say that like its such a dull thing! *Boss waved in the air as he was on the ground* Go go... We get more food anyways.*
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro ran by them waving* Yea! Sorry guys! Maybe next time! *Hamtaro started down sunny peak* Bye!
Boss/Oxnard: Bye Hamtaro! *They waved all the way til Hamtaro was just a speck in the distance. They turned to each other.*
Oxnard: ...Is it me... *Oxnard turns back to the path that Hamtaro took.* or is he not the same anymore...
Boss: *Boss shook his head and turned to the path too.* No...he changed. Usually he wouldn't miss out on any picnic...but Bijou ... I don't think she truly escapes his mind anymore...
Oxnard: *Oxnard smiles at Boss with glee.* I think I like that! *Boss's mouth gaped open to that remark.*
Boss: Heh... *Boss smiles too* Yea me too.
[City Park]
Bijou: *Bijou, a white hamster with two blue ribbons, was setting up chairs. Her, and her three other ham girl friends was setting up a stage and alley for a very special occasional.* I juzt can't believe that Sandy, and Maxwell are getting married tomorrow! *Bijou turned and smiled at Sandy, Pashmina, and Penelope who was at the stage setting up some wood and fabric which would go over the stage as a roof.*
Sandy: Y-Yea! Gonna be great!...Dang it wish Panda was here... *Sandy was a yellow hamster with tiger strips. She also a ribbon on her tail. She would usually be twirling around her favourite ribbon twirler, but right now she was hammering a post into the ground.*
Pashmina: *Pashmina, a rounder ham girl who was tan and brown, who wore a pink scarf, was placing down a big red carpet down the steps that was at the front of steps.* Just think, this is gonna happen to you too, Bijou...*She rubbed the carpet out flat.* One day at least.
Penelope: OKKWEE! *Penelope poked Pashmina in the side, making her look at the small ham ham who couldn't quite speak yet. Penelope was always covered in your favourite yellow blanket with eye holes cut into it. Penelope was getting just slight older.*
Pashmina: *Pashmina smiled at Penelope* Me too Penelope...
Bijou: *Bijou finally set the chairs down.* I don't care, az long as Hamtaro loves me for who I am! *Bijou smiled at them with glee.*
Sandy: *Sandy stood and leaned against the newly built post.* Man, like, just think, one year ago, Hamtaro was till pretty much brain dead! *Bijou;s smile faded. Pashmina had a sweat drop.*
Pashmina: B-But of course Hamtaro has grown into a heck of a ham! You are so lucky Bijou to have him!
Penelope: *Penelope jumped on Pashmina's back* Okwee!
Bijou: *Bijou shyly shuffled her feet.* I...really am...
?: HAM-HAA!
Ham-girls: Heke?! *All four turned and tilted their heads. In the distance, they saw Hamtaro run over the hill waving with glee.*
Bijou: *She gasps* BONJOUR HAMTARO! HAM-HA! *Bijou waved as she ran right towards them. They soon collided into a hug.*
Hamtaro: Hi Bijou... *Hamtaro embraced the hug and cuddled up to her. He then lifted up a hair, but still held her.* I'm sorry, I just lost track of time. I should of been here soon-
Bijou: I don't care! *Bijou smiled* You're a busy ham ham and all. *Bijou turned to the ham girls.* Are we just about there?
*All three other ham girls and Hamtaro turned to the stage that was built. It looked decent enough in their eyes. It was a white pretty stage with fabric as a roof.*
Sandy: You know, I think so! I mean *She turned to Bijou* All we need is some ribbons around the top and some pretty flowers! *They all smiled at each other. Hamtaro blinked a few times.*
Hamtaro: ...Uh, whats the occasion again?... *Soon sweat dropped right as Sandy got up to his face, with fire clearly in his eyes.*
Sandy: YOU'RE, LIKE, KIDDING RIGHT? TOMORROW ME AND MAXWELL IS GETTING- *She stopped short as Bijou smiled and slowly pushed Sandy off.* ...um...
Hamtaro: OH YEAH! *Hamtaro clenched his paws* You two are getting married! *Hamtaro hugged Sandy. Sandy was shocked at first but embraced anyways.*
Sandy: Why thank you Hamtaro! *Hamtaro backed off.*
Hamtaro: ...So uh *Hamtaro looked at each one at a time, sheepishly. He then tilted his head.* Heke?...What does getting married...exactly mean?
Ham girls: ooooh... *The ham girls look down. Bijou kicked a rock.*
Bijou: Really Hamtaro...You seen Oxnard get married right?
Hamtaro: *He was really nervous now and backed away* I-I-I just didn't know what it was all about! I knew Oxnard and Penny liked each other a lot, but getting married is just...I...I...
Bijou: *Places a paw on Hamtaro.* Forget about it for now... *She shook her head with a smile and looked at Hamtaro.* Its...okay... *She then turned around.* Letz get going...Hamtaro.. *She smiled back at him.*
Hamtaro: ... *She looked at the girls who nodded with big smiles. Hamtaro smiled and turned to Bijou.* Let's go! *He grabbed Bijou's paw and they walked off.*
Sandy: ... *Sandy smiles* At least Bijou takes things like that lighter now. *The girls smile at each other with glee.*
[Near Ham Ham gangs acorn valley]
Laura: *Laura, Hamtaro's owner, who was just turning 11 this year, was a young girl with short brown hair, and her hair was held by two small pink ribbons. She wore a red jacket. Today, she was with her friends, Maria and Kana. Kana was a young girl about Laura's age with long brown hair, and glasses. She was Oxnard's owner. Maria, a girl who was one year older then both of them, and light brown hair, with a headband on it, sat on a bench waiting for Laura to speak.* Heh, this is gonna be great! I just know it!
Kana: okay... *Kana turned to Laura. They had this discussion once before, but Kana couldn't believe what Laura said.* So you are saying that our hamsters...might have a secret life?
Laura: That's right! *Laura gave Kana a thumbs up.* I mean I only started believing it when Hamtaro, Bijou, and Oxnard was missing for those three days. *Laura and Maria had went on a piano trip for three days, and came back to find their hamster cages missing. Kana on the other hand saw that it was missing the entire time Laura was away.*
Maria: But...didn't we just agree... *Maria and Kana both had doubts.* That Hamtaro and Bijou had animal instincts and fell in love? ... *She looked at Kana for support* ...Animals have a way of finding each other...right?
Laura: Oh yeaaa? *Laura points at Kana* Why don't you explain why Oxnard wasn't in his cage either for about the same amount of time. Hm? *Kana fidgeted with her fingers*
Kana: W-Well I, uh... *She paused her fingers and looked up.* ...To be honest? *She looked at her friends* ...I saw Oxnard out his cage more then once?
Girls: Huh?!
Maria: You did? *Maria stood up.*
Kana: *Kana just nods.* Yea. From time to time I go home, and Oxnard's not in the cage...And well, when I leave to go find him...He would just appear in the cage when I came back. *Kana looks down in thought, then looked at her friends again.* Not only that! I even tested it!
Maria: Tested how... ? *Maria grabbed her chin in thought*
Laura: Yes, please, do tell! *Laura was the one who was getting most excited about this. This was truly about to confirm her thoughts.*
Kana:... One time when Oxnard wasn't in his cage, I saw him...
Maria: You saw him out of his cage?
Laura: Did you just put him back in his cage?
Kana: No that's just it... *She turned away from them and walked away in thought. She turned to them slowly in mid speech* One time, I managed to see Oxnard in a corner. He was just watchin me... *Kana looked at Laura for some support. She felt like she was gonna say something crazy.* I pretended I didn't see Oxnard, and walked right out after setting down my backpack, and then turned quick and what I saw was Oxnard squeezing through the cage, as if not to get caught by me...
Kana: *Kana shook her head and stared at her friends sheepishly* I'm sorry you must think I'm crazy...
Laura: *Laura smacked her fist in her palm* I don't! *Maria turned to her as well as Kana* That's exactly why we are here today! ...Cause *Laura put her hands to her hips.* When I told Hamtaro I would be gone for the whole day, I left, but then...
Laura: I went right back! *Laura just smiled gleefully*
Kana/Maria: *They both blinked.* A-And?!
Laura: What do you think? *She snapped her fingers* He was gone! Not even thirty minutes past and Hamtaro wasn't there! However, he's always there at night? Come on! Hamtaro, and our hamsters do things while we are at school or something else! *Laura looked up in the sky.* ...*She clenched her fist in determination* I just got to know!
Maria: So...how do we know? How do we figure out what our hamsters are doing during the day? *Laura could tell they was more serious about it all. Then Maria shook her head, clearly in disbelief,* This is crazy! Their pet hamsters! Secret life?!
Laura: *Laura smiled* Well, I'll be honest! I already started before you both! *She grabbed both their shoulders and started walking them over to a couple trees with bushes surrounding them*
Maria: S-Started? What do you mean by that?!
Kana: Are you saying that you started watching Hamta- EK! *Laura had pushed both Maria and Kana into the bushes*
Laura: *Laura climbed in the bushes with them and sat. Behind the bushes was just enough clearing for all three to be comfortable. She put her finger to lips* shhhhh... *She then jab her index to the outside hole they could peer through a couple times and looked out there herself.*
Maria/Kana: *Both Maria and Kana exchanged unsure glances, but gave in and leaned by Laura to get a good look.*
*Very soon, without too much time had past, they saw two familiar hamsters was walking on the sidewalk.*
Maria/Kana: *They both gasped in such surprise, Laura had to cover both their mouths at the same time.*
Laura: Quiet! *She said in a harsh whisper. Laura slowly let go as they both seemed to calm down, but only a little.*
Maria: *She put her hand up to her face in utter shock* B-Bijou?!
Laura: Didn't I just say quiet...
Kana: *Kana shook her head.* T-That's really Hamtaro and Bijou...! ...T-Their holding paws again...!
Laura: *She closed her eyes and smiled in glee* IIII told ya! *They watched and examined the Ham Hams.*
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro just stared ahead. As of right now, he felt a bit ashamed. He had been dating Bijou for one solid year, but he had no idea what marriage was all about. He understood that two people who love one another get together and throw a big party of celebration, but deep in his mind he felt as if there was even more he did not know. Was there something else? All that he did that know was that he felt really bad for being clueless.*
Bijou: *All of Hamtaro's thought faded as Bijou stopped walking* Hamtaro...are you okay?
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro smiled shyly* O-Of course! I just... *Hamtaro stared down the path.* ...*Hamtaro signed.* I am starting to not like...being...
Bjiou: *Bjiou suddenly lifted his paw and grabbed it with both of her's softly.*...Hamtaro... *She looked him into the eyes.* ...I don't care about that... I care about...how you care for your friends...and... *She squeezed tighter.* How you love me... That's all I care for...
Hamtaro: ...But... *He looked down.* That's all I know...Heck... *Hamtaro had the urge to let go of Bijou, but he held on tighter instead.* I use...to not know about love...I never knew it existed...
Bijou: But that just makes you innocence! *She moved closer to Hamtaro.* Innocence and pure!
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro frowned. He didn't understand that.* How does that make me innocence? Pure? I don't understand... *Hamtaro finally got the courage to have Bijou let go. He thought she would resist, but she didn't. Hamtaro instantly felt bad.* ...Isn't love a good thing?
Bijou: Hamtaro...There really is such a thing as too much love...
Hamtaro: ...*Hamtaro stared at her and didn't believe her.* Too much love? *Hamtaro shook his head.* I don't believe you. How can you love someone too much?!
Bijou: ...*Bijou looked down. This conversation was starting depress the two of them.* It's...
?: HEYYYYYYYYYYY!
Hamtaro/Bijou: Heke?! *They turned around, and there stood Maxwell and Sandy.*
*Laura and her friends watched intently.*
Maria: Woah! Who's that?! *Maria and Kana turned to Laura as her interest grew even more then her friends. Laura leaned in further.*
Laura: ...Hold on...Hold on...OH! *She shut her mouth with her hands, for she was almost speaking to loud. She turned to them and began in a whisper.* That yellow hamster is Sandy!
Kana: What? *Kana and Maria stare at Sandy.* You know that hamster?
Laura: Owned by Hillary, the gold medallist! *She smiled at her friends.*
Kana: *Kana gasped* I think you're right!
Maxwell: Ham-ha fellows! *Maxwell held Sandy's hand. Maxwell was a slightly tall ham ham with long ears, and he loved box, but he also loved Sandy. He held one book in one hand, and Sandy's hand in another.* How's it going today!
Bijou: *Bijou grabbed Hamtaro's paw.* Bonjour love bugs!
Maxwell: *Maxwell nods.* The same to you love bugs! *Sandy giggles.*
Hamtaro: You two look pretty clean if you ask me! *Hamtaro was right. Both Maxwell and Sandy's fur was shiner then normal.*
Sandy: Ohhh I had Maxwell and I take a bath to make sure we looked perfect for the wedding tomorrow! *Hamtaro suddenly had a thought as he stared at Maxwell.*
Bijou: *Bijou walked up and grabbed both of Sandy's paw.* I promise you that me and the girls will make you so pretty that Maxwell will faint! *Hamtaro only half way listened. Maxwell was smiling at Hamtaro. Hamtaro knew that if anyone would know what marriage was for, and what came after marriage, it would be Maxwell. He was one of the smartest hamsters he ever knew. Hamtaro walked up and was about to say something.*
*However...*
?: Hamtaro! ...Gak! *A shadow of a hamster fell out of the bushes.*
Ham Hams: HEKE?! *Hamtaro and the others turned to the fallen ham ham.* HEY! ARE YOU OKAY?! *Hamtaro ran over, and the others followed.*
Laura: *Laura had to peek her head out more out of the bushes* What the heck? Who is that...
Maria: *Maria and Kana couldn't see.* What do you see?
Hamtaro: *Hamtaro turned over the ham ham in the black cloak.* !? WHAT?! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?
Bijou: *Bijou grabbed his face gently and gently slapped it a couple of times.* Wake UP!
Maxwell: Who-...Oh no!
Sandy: ...Masquerade...
*There on the ground and passed out, was Jade.*
