Age 753
"Wake up, Kakarot." These were the first words the young saiyan heard. Bardock and Raditz could stay longer than usual. Much longer. They needed at least five saiyans to invade Earth, but they two of the only three who didn't think Earth would too great a waste of time. As usual, Kakarot woke up to his mother, Gine. Once Goku was awake she said, "One day I'll never be able to get you up."
Although Bardock could stay on the planet for a longer time period, Gine and Kakarot still had to work. Bardock wished his son was more like himself. If he were, they could invade Earth sooner. Until Gine gave birth to their third child, which would be in three months, nobody was going to the human homeworld. Bardock knew Goku was stronger than people realized. He couls feel that power lying dormant within him, but that didn't matter at the moment.
Age 754
Bardock and Gine's child had been born just two weeks ago. It was a female saiyan they had named Celri. Now Bardock, Gine, Raditz, and Kakarot could go to Earth. As they entered the ship that would take them to the planet, they met their other ally.
He didn't greet them in a nice way, saying, "Move it. If you're this slow go back home or die in battle."
"Calm down we're going along just fine," said Bardock.
Once Kakarot saw their ally he felt a bit of fear run through him. He simply said to him, "Aren't you...Vegeta."
"Yes," he said, "Prince Vegeta IV."
"I never thought I'd be in the same room as you."
"Few low-class saiyans get that chance. You should be grateful simply that I am speaking to you."
"I am. My name's..."
"I know your name, Kakarot."
"How did you..."
"I know your entire family. Your father always has good things to say about you and your mother. I hope for your sake he wasn't exaggerating."
Goku was even more afraid once they left Planet Vegeta. He had never been in battle and now he was about to go to war with and entire planet.
"Don't worry, Kakarot. You'll be fine," Bardock assured him. "Now we've just gotta travel to Earth and we'll be done before you know it."
"Your son already seems unfit for battle, Bardock." Vegeta, as a saiyan elite, could not tolerate fear. He saw fear as weakness, and he couldn't stand weakness.
