Like i promise a new chapter. It really take some tears from me.

Some of you wanted for Inko (Izuku's mother) to know about the fate of her son. The reasons why he needs to train only at Oa will be explained here.

However, lucky for you i find a way.

Welcome to Oa.

Izuku didn't know what to expect when he returned to consciousness. He expects that everything that's happened about meteor crash, alien fight, death and flight to space with a magic ring was all one big dream. Unfortunately, he realized that it wasn't when he opened his eyes.

It is not his room. There is too much green. Correction everything is green. And everything looks so strange and different than before. It looks like he got into a Sci-Fi movie. He is not home.

As it couldn't become worse, Midoriya finds a mirror and notices that his usual clothes have changed and transformed into something different. He is wearing a black and green jumpsuit, similar to one Abin Sur wearied. Only it is cardinal black with some green aspects such as shoulder pants, boots and the middle of his chest with a symbol of Green Lantern glowing bright green. In addition, he wears a green domino mask and white gloves. Ring still on his hand shines as sun.

Izuku couldn't believe his eyes, with this suit he no longer looks like a little, defenseless, quirkless boy from before. Right now, he looks like a young hero in training. Only small.

Couldn't contain himself, he decided slightly to show off on his mirror.

"Your days of villainy are over!" he posed while pointing his ring. "You know why? Because I am here!"

"If only criminals could give up when we appear then our job would be so easy", said a voice with a humor behind Izuku, startling him.

The voice belongs to another Green Lantern. He wears the same uniform as Abin Sur. He pretty much looks like a normal human only he has a head that is a mix of bird and fish. He has a bird beak and fin on his head and blue eyes with a green domino mask either. He could fit enough on Earth as a human with a mutant-type Quirk.

"Sorry I startled you. My name is Tomar-Re. You are on the planet Oa", the alien introduced himself. "I was sent here to collect you. So, then you could meet our superiors, Guardians of the Universe."

"It's about Abin Sur?" Izuku asked, already knowing an answer. "They want to know what's happened to him?"

"Exactly", answered Tomar-Re, impressive about deduction of the child. "However, they want to know about you. And what to do with you. It's not every day when our Power Rings brings children to the Oa. No offence."

"No taken", the human said with a smile. He still couldn't understand what he forgot on the planet of Green Lanterns. "So how were we supposed to get there?"

"It would be 20 minutes if you decided to go on foot. Or 5 if you decided to fly", answered an alien. "However, I wouldn't advise you to do that because of your inexperience."

"Ok, then", Midoriya said sheepishly.

Then both of them left the room.

The walk for Midoriya was the most fantastic experience in his life. Everything was looking like a futuristic city in green color with flying green things around. This city is populated by various aliens. No one looked like the others. All of them are different from each other. The only thing that was the same is that everyone is wearing a Green Lantern uniform. If Izuku had his notebook he would already fill it with the characteristics of other aliens' abilities. The most interesting thing he noticed was that there weren't any civilians around. Only Lanterns. It really is a Planet of Heroes.

"This place is amazing", he said happily.

"I know. You actually hold better than any newbies. They would hyper wail then fainted", Tomar-Re chuckled. "And you don't really look surprised by all the different aliens around you."

"I am overwhelmed with everything. It looks like I am in the future", Izuku commented, unable to contain his emotions. "However, all your 'colleagues' are not so different from some quirked people on my planet."

"Quirk?" asked the alien in confusion.

"Some kind of a mutation", Midoriya explained. "If they come to Earth they wouldn't be recognized as aliens but as citizens of the planet. Nobody would see a difference."

"Probably", commented Tomar-Re trying not to tell everything.

"But I have a question. Don't you have any citizens on this planet?" asked Izuku.

"This planet belongs to Guardians and Green Lanterns only. They can't be any other creatures here", the alien explained.

Suddenly they stopped near before looking at the big green tower, which is looking like a giant version of his lantern. And near the tower are standing many statues of different aliens. One of them is Abin Sur itself. Both of them looked at him solemnly in respect about the brave man.

"Say do you…" asked Izuku.

"I never met him. But I heard about him", interrupted Tomar-Re. "He is the greatest Lantern ever lived. There is pity that there are a few of something like him."

Izuku could only nod in agreement while looking at the Power Ring. The last reminder about Abin Sur and his death.

However, he couldn't think about it more as Tomar-Re grabbed his hand and guided him inside the building.

After 15 minutes, they finally reach their destination. In the hall they were greeted by a group of small alien creatures standing on the flying podium. All of them are wearing red robes with a green lantern symbol on their chests. They have blue skin, green-blue eyes and white hair. They look almost identical. The only differences are their hair style and their expressions on their faces. They are Guardians of the Universe and founders of Green Lantern Corps. Despite how weak and old they look, all of them have an infinite wisdom and power. It would be a mistake to take them lightly.

With a gulp Izuku comes to the center of the room, making all Guardians and other Lanterns to look at him. Not knowing what to do he starts to talk.

"Wise Guardians, my name is Izuku Midoriya from planet Earth", he squeaks in fear and embarrassment. Making others Lantern to face-palm at this display. "I feel like I am talking too loud even though proximity doesn't require this kind of volume."

"This kid is doomed", commented a pink skin alien who is a mix of warthog and porcupine. Others simply agreed.

"ENOUGH!" bellowed a main Guardian who sits in the middle. What distinguished him from others is that he is bald but has spiked hair on the sides. In addition, he has a permanent scowl on his face. "We don't care what our thoughts are inside your little primitive brain. What we need to know is what happened to Abin Sur on your pitiful planet."

With this information, he started to explain everything. From the meteor crash to the death of Abin Sur. All of the members were listening solemnly. The loss of their dear comrade.

"I see. Now we know what to do", commented the main Guardian. "Tomar-Re, Sinestro and Killowog you must go to that planet and retrieve Abin Sur's corpse so then he can be buried here. But before that take the Power Ring from this little thief."

"I am not a thief!" argued Izuku backloudly. "Ring flew to my hand by itself!"

At his outburst, every alien looked at him in shock. Unfortunately, the shock quickly disappeared and they started to laugh at him. Even some of the Guardians started to laugh at him like he just said a very hilarious joke in the universe. Izuku could only listen not from shock but disappointment. He already got used to it.

"Enough laughing!" commented the main Guardian before going to Midoriya with his scowl angrier than before. For Izuku it is more scary than angry Kacchan. "You have no idea what you have in your hand child don't you?"

"No, Mr. Guardian", Midoriya answered meekly. Earning little chuckles from other Lanterns.

"My name is Appa Ali Apsa. And let us tell you what exactly goes on, here", Appa started with grinding teeth. He sore from that nickname. Then lights come to show a massive green book with the same symbol. "That's the Book of Oa. It contains the history of the Guardians of the Universe and the Green Lantern Corps. Every important adventure of every Lantern was written down in this book. There are also sets of rules that every Lantern must follow without an exception."

Book then shows him some videos just like a projector from cinema. It shows him an alien civilization, space wars and many Green Lanterns.

"The Book of Oa, first chapter, first verse. Long ago, before our stars had ignited... long ago, when life was new and the universe was in its infancy...before order… there was chaos. Chaos unbalanced creation... hate outbalanced fellowship...and all life suffered."

"The Guardians saw it all. The evil was too great to be left unchecked. And so, they gathered the light. They knew of its variety and strength...and the light with the most power. But they sought their answer in the light of will... to form from it a weapon unequaled... to turn armies to sand."

"Will, given substance... forming. The greatest warriors of the universe were gathered. Four would be chosen. The first four. An event to be recorded and remembered."

"But then, the unexpected. They called it an accident. Accident is only the will of the universe expressing itself. And it was the universe's will that the fourth Lantern be Avra... a mere scribe... chronicler to the Guardians. And so, it would be for all time, the rings would choose their successors."

"The Guardians had armed the first four, and sought to train them. Though no training could prepare them for what would come... when training gave way to duty. A plague had savaged the universe. The Guardians dispatched the first four to stop its advance. Ready or not."

"It was too much for them. For anyone. And the first Lantern saw... and would not run. He held his first construct. No longer a scribe... now a warrior. The first Lantern."

This was the beginning. In time, the first of the rings would be passed on... while a hundred more were forged... and then...thousands. All would be taught as the first Lantern had learned. A new path to victory. A use for the ring that even the Guardians had not predicted. In time, old Lanterns would fall...their rings given to the new, to learn as they did. Even Avra would fall...his ring given to one who would be taught his lessons... and would one day teach them. What was once a unique innovation becoming the way for all. The way of will. Know then, when you shape the light of your ring... you walk in the footsteps of the first Lantern."

Izuku just couldn't believe what he just learnt. Avra, a humble scribe to the Guardians, was chosen by the final of the first four power rings despite having no skill or aptitude as a warrior. Avra and the other three original Green Lanterns, were immediately tasked with stopping the Dominators, an aggressive species which was invading solar system after solar system. Avra used his willpower and imagination as a writer to continue the fight. Following Avra's lead the other two Lanterns also created their own distinct power ring constructs, and the battle was won. The power to shape constructs from the power rings became standard operating procedure, and Avra rose in prestige among the growing Green Lantern Corps.

Maybe he also could become one of them?

"Now you know everything", commented Appa, still looking displeased. "This Power Ring is the strongest weapon in the Universe. It can create everything only using the owner's imagination, knowledge and willpower. Then the Green Lantern Corps was founded. Organization with millions of Sectors with each Lantern on each Sector."

"Every Lantern must follow the rules of the Book of Oa. One of them is "No one with an adolescent age can become a Green Lantern." And you expect us to believe that Power Ring decided to break its own rule and choose a child to become a new successor."

At that moment, Izuku understood that Appa is right in everything. Nobody would believe that ring would choose a little boy as the new hero. It really sounds like a fairy tale. It looks like he is going home.

"Appa Ali Apsa, I want to make an objection!" called a voice behind them. He is a mildly-muscular humanoid male. He has dark purple skin, short black hair, and a small mustache. He has black eyes with yellow irises. His Green Lantern uniform is visually distinct from others, as he has a single upside-down triangle on his chest. In a stark contrast to many others, his Green Lantern costume carries out to being solely black once past his upside-down triangle and does not wear gloves. His name is Thaal Sinestro. He is one of the greatest Green Lanterns. However, he has some dark and deadly aura around him.

"What do you want Sinestro to do?" asked Appa impatiently.

"What can't just ignore some things", started Sinestro. "Even if he was a thief no ring would even come to him. Let alone travel him to the Oa."

"I agree with him, Appa. I don't think that he would be here in the first place if he were a thief", commented another Guardian, he has small white eyebrows, he is bald, but has length-shoulder white hair. "Besides, you can't agree with the fact that 'Ring never wrong'."

"What do you suggest, Ganthet? So, we would just forget one of our rules and train him here?!" asked Appa with anger and irritation.

Before he could continue, Book of Oa starts to glow dangerous green and extracts strange sounds that only Guardians could understand. If their surprise faces gave any recognition. Suddenly as the book started to glow it ended. Leaving only a quiet room.

"Book of Oa just agreed to the decision to make Izuku Midoriya from Earth a new member of Green Lantern Corps", said Appa reluctantly shocking the entire hall. Before Izuku could start to celebrate he continued, "But don't be happy, child. This training will prepare you for the strongest challenge in your life. In addition, you can't go back to your planet. For now, until you finish your training, your home is Oa."

"WHAT?!" Midoriya screamed in horror. "I can't go back home? But my mommy doesn't know where I am. I can't worry her so much! Maybe there is another way?"

"I am sorry but no", the Guardian said solemnly. "Never before a mere child was chosen as Green Lantern. We must know the reason why exactly the rule was allowed to be broken in the first place. There is also to protect your planet from criminals, who invade other worlds only to attract Green Lanterns to fight them. Despite the strange mutations your planet has, it would still not match for them. The best way to protect your mother is for you to stay here."

If before everything was a sweet dream, which you wouldn't want to wake up, then right now Izuku finds himself in a nightmare where you want to wake up.

After he went to his new room, Izuku couldn't believe everything. He became a young space hero in-training. Something that he dreamt all his life. It sounded like a dream.

Unfortunately, there is some downside. The learning that he must leave his dear mummy for an unknown amount of time breaks his spirit. However, despite everything, Izuku can understand Appa. The fact that his planet will learn about aliens could jeopardize his mother's safety. He doesn't have a choice. He would probably go to her by himself if he could. He needs an opportunity.

Suddenly doors open and Ganthet appears holding his lantern. Midoriya remembered that this Guardian has a good aura. Maybe he still could get some friends here.

"If you meet your mommy you should go with me", unexpectedly said to Ganthet , shocking the boy.

Here comes the opportunity.

Inko Midoriya is the kindest soul in the world. She would always talk with people with such warmness that it would melt the hearts of many cold-hearted people. It explains where Izuku got his kindness from.

However, right now there is nothing that could cheer her up. When she opened her eyes and found out that her precious little Izuku just disappeared.

Despite the searches there wasn't anything left of him. Just like he disappeared from the planet. It was like he just decided to run away.

Inko wasn't a stupid woman. She knew that Izuku was still feeling hurt about learning that he is Quirkless. He becomes kinda distant towards others. He stopped being a smiley sunshine. He stopped talking about his time in kindergarten. And every time he always looked spooked when Katsuki was mentioned. She wanted to talk about it the next day but it was too late.

Inko understood what happened. Her son blamed her for his quirklessness and ran away. If she knew that would happen then she would tell him otherwise. But in truth, even if Izuku would gain a powerful quirk she would never let him become a hero. He is the only family she has left.

"Izuku I am so sorry", she sobbed crying on the picture of both of them. "I would never tell you that if I knew that it would hurt you. I always believed in you. I didn't want you to become a hero because I was afraid, I would lose you. But right now, I just want you to be back. I love you, Izuku."

"I love you too, mommy" said Izuku standing near her and also crying because of his mother.

At the voice of his son she turns around and sees her crying baby only wearing some strange suit and domino mask while holding a big lantern. She also noticed that in her room there is a green swirling vortex.

"Izuku, is that you honey?" Inko asked carefully in fear that everything is just her delusional.

"Mommy, don't worry it's me. See?" he asked while grabbing her hand and placing it on his head making her realize that everything is real. "But I don't have much time left. I already broke up many rules. I need to explain quickly."

"What's wrong Izuku?" She asked in worry and momentarily forgot that she needed to punish her son for running away in the first place.

And Izuku quickly explained everything. From the meteorite to becoming a cadet in the Green Lantern Corps. If someone said that Inko was surprised, that would be understanding of the century.

"Now you see why am I here?" asked Izuku in sadness. "The fact that I am already here is already supposed to be defected. But I just couldn't go away without you worrying about me."

"I would worry about any other way, sweetie", she commented weakly. "But I don't see what's the problem, you could just give them a ring and everything would be solved."

"The reason is I don't want to give the ring away", he answered with a sigh. "I always wanted to be a hero but I can't become him here. This is an opportunity once in a life. I don't think they would give it back to me after I grow up. That's my only chance."

"I want to do many things to try and stop you", Inko started with a frown. "But you truly wanted to become a hero. It's your dream and I just can't stop you. I just don't wanna lose you."

"Actually, there is a solution", Izuku commented with a smile pointed at the lantern. Then he touched the ring and the data tablet appeared from it. He then touches something and his image appears from one of the holes of the lantern. "My Power Ring is also the smartest computer in the universe. It's connected to this Power Battery so we can talk with each other. You just need to hide it from others and tell everyone that you don't know where I am. I know that it's not perfect but it's temporary. After I finish the training I would be back here and would never leave you."

"It's enough when I can see you and know that you are alive", Inko commented with a sad smile. She is proud that her little boy was chosen for something like this. If only it would leave him home. She then hugs him and asks him for one thing, "I want you to call me every day. And tell me everything. From disgusting food to the bruise on your body. I love you."

"I promise I will do it. I love you too mommy. I will miss you", he said letting go from the hug. He then goes to the portal and before he could enter it, he turns around and tells her with tears, "Goodbye, mommy."

"Goodbye, honey", she answered with tears.

With these words, vortex closed. Leaving Miss Midoriya alone in her flat. It's not a perfect solution indeed but she would wait for her son to go back to her.

Exiting the portal wasn't so much of a big deal. He was once more grateful to Ganthet for everything he had already done for him. They broke into a lab and used a portable portal to travel. He risked his position only for him to meet with his mother. He would repay him someday.

"It looks like it was a warm meeting", Ganthet joked while pointing at Midoriya's tears and red eyes.

"You have no idea, Ganthet-san", Izuku commented, still happy with his meeting. "Still I don't know if I could ever repay you. You risked everything only for me to meet her."

"What Appa doesn't know wouldn't hurt him", Guardian simply commented. "Despite my colleagues' methods, I am still curious about other lives on other planets. And there is a way you can pay me back."

"What is it? I would do anything", Midoriya answered frantically.

"When you finished your training here. I want you to take me with you on Earth. It was billions when I last left Oa", explained Ganthet with a smile.

"I would do it sir!" screamed Izuku with enthusiasm.

"Good boy. Now go to sleep. You need every bit of an energy to survive Kilowog's training", said alien before exiting the lab.

With these words, Izuku left back to his room. Despite that everything would be different in his life, he would meet it with determination. He will have a difficult path towards his dream but nothing will stop him.

It is his starting line to his journey to become the greatest hero in the universe.

Plot twist! Now Inko can call her baby whenever she wants.
