Waking up several hours later, Ginevra opened her eyes, memories of Harry and Hermione in her bedroom came through her head, and she felt the heavy arm of Blaise wrapped around her hip. She turned her head slightly behind her, and sure enough Blaise was sleeping from what she could see in the darkness of the room.
Feeling movement beside him, he opened his eyes like a hawk.
"Don't stare too hard."
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Said she, as she turns to face him in his embrace. His arm still around her hip. They lay facing each other on their sides.
"No. You didn't. I guessed you were trying to make a run for it or something." His voice raspy as he smirked.
"It's just..." She continues, trying to place the words together that would make the most sense in her confused mind. "I wonder if he even thought about me. He was still wearing our wedding ring around his finger when I caught them both." Said she at that regrettable fact.
His arm around her hip tightened his hold. "Most likely he was only thinking about himself, Ginny. Most men are very selfish."
Their conversation went on for hours as they lay beside each other, until the first morning light broke through Blaise's bedroom window.
"How long has it been since you have been truly happy, Ginny?" He asks.
"Too long. I just don't know what I am going to do." Her thumb tracing along the back of her wedding band.
"You can stay here with me, Ginny. You know that." Said he, as he rises up from the bed and gets ready for work. She smiles at him as she too rises up from his bed.
She's still confused about the whole situation.
Does she want to make her marriage to Harry Potter work or should she just move on?
An own taps at the window, and flys inside as the window was open throughout the night. The own flys to Ginevra and drops a postage above her head.
She catches the letter, before it hits the ground, in her hands. She glances at Blaise and he's looking at her with his black eyebrow raised in question. The owl flys out of the window and is gone from view within moments.
"It's probably from Harry." She rolls her eyes and then looks down at the postage in her hands.
If he was so entertained with Hermione Granger, why bother to waste a few minutes on the one he chose to marry - his wife? Would he have even noticed that Ginevra did not come home last night? Would he have cared? Would he have stayed up, waiting on her to show so they could talk it through? Or did he and Hermione Granger go another round when she was gone? She tried to ignore them questions inside her mind.
She opens it.
Sure enough, it is a letter written to Ginevra from Harry with four words written in his cursive handwriting.
'We need to talk.'
Ginevra crumpled up the parchment and threw it on the floor as she went to grab her fur minx coat.
She casted a wandless cleaning charm on herself as she is still in the clothes that she wore yesterday. Figuring no need to go home, she transfigured her black knee length skirt into black pants.
Blaise, behind Ginevra's back, quickly grabbed the parchment and threw it inside the fireplace, burning it in the flames.

Ginevra and Blaise arrive at the Ministry of Magic on time as Blaise opens up her passenger side door, like a gentleman, taking her by the hand once more.
"We could have apparated here but I hate doing that. It makes me want to puke." Said he, chuckling.
"Yeah. I know what that feels like. Apparating gives me a headache." Said she, agreeing.
Blaise works with Ronald, Harry, Draco, Hermione and Theo in the Aurors department, protect the wizarding world citizens from the Dark Art Curses. Ginevra works in the Creature Care department.
"You know, I was thinking since I am going to Italy for two weeks. Maybe you would like to join me?" Said he, holding her hand as they walk side by side together inside the Ministry of Magic to their jobs.
She considers his question before she gives him her answer. Maybe that is just what Ginevra needs.
A vacation of sorts. Time away. Time to think.
Time for herself.
Should she take Blaise up on his offer?
She looks at him. "I will consider it but I will have to think about it before I give you my answer."
"That's fine with me." Said he, as he pushes the elevator button to go up.
Ginevra gets off the elevator on her floor, but not before making plans to go with Blaise out to eat after work is over today.
Blaise smiles his charming smile as the elevator door closes and Ginevra turns around and makes her way to her office. She enters her office and hangs up her fur minx coat. She gets to work on her articles from yesterday that needed to be done.

Harry comes into Ginevra's office without knocking, just barging in. Completely unannounced.
She looked at him as if he was unwanted anywhere near her - such disgust written all over her face as she looked at her husband.
"If you would let me explain." He starts. His hair all wild, sticking up in every direction. His lightening bolt scar noticeable. She wonders, if only for a moment, how his night was without her there?
"Get out of my office!" Said she with venom in her tone.
He holds his hands up as if in surrender. "It was only a one time thing, honey."
"Stop calling me that! You say that as if that is something to be proud of, Harry James Potter! I'm not sure if that is even the truth I hear coming from you. I wonder just how many other secrets you have? It's like I don't even know who you are any more." Said she as she goes off on him, just as Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt comes through the door to Ginevra's office.
"What's all this yelling in here?"
"I want him to leave." Said Ginevra, looking defeated after she unleashed her words on Harry.
Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt looks at Harry.
Harry keeps his eyes steady on Ginevra. "You are acting so immature! I just would like to explain it to you!"
She looks at him with daggers in her eyes. She almost throws the ink vial sitting on her desk at him. "I am the one who is acting immature? You sure did explain it to me right when I caught you with your dick stuck in Hermione Granger! My brothers wife of all people!"
Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt looks between the couple. "Look here, this sounds like a personal matter and you two will need to discuss this in the privacy of your house, not in my building. It is disrupting my other employees."
"I apologize, Kingsley." Said Ginevra from behind her desk with a quill feather pen in her hand. She needs to keep her job, after all and arguing with her husband over his infidelity in her office just won't do.
"Me as well," Harry said. "Ginevra, I would like to explain it to you that I am sorry. It was a one time thing, and I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me." He said as he looks back at her and then when she stays silent, he exits Ginevra's office looking regretful. She could almost feel sorry for him.
Ginevra shakes her head at Harry's back. Is Harry sincere in his words? His feelings? Does Harry really want to work their marriage out? Will their marriage work?
Ginevra has her doubts.
Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt looks at Ginevra. "You have always been one of my best employees Ginevra. Never late. Never once missed a day. Always on time. Perhaps it will do you well to take a couple weeks off?" Said he.
"I probably should. Just - Just so much has happened since yesterday, Minister Kingsley, I feel as if I am getting burnt out." Said she, still with the feather quill in her hand.
"It is settled then, Mrs. Potter. You may take two weeks off on a break, starting tomorrow." Said he looking out for her well being, and she cringes silently inside at the use of her last name. "Now I need to speak with Mr. Potter. Good day." Said Minister Kingsley Shacklebolt as he takes his leave.
Ginevra's last thought when she was left alone inside her office was 'good riddance!"
She got her work done.
She thought she couldn't concentrate, but she did.
She got through it.
When she clocked out of work, she found Blaise standing with his hands inside his front pants pockets. He was waiting for her outside in the parking lot beside his car. She smiled at him as she walked over to him. He opened the passenger side door for her and she gladly took her seat.

"Kingsley gave me two weeks off, Blaise."
"How did you manage that?" Asked he, as he starts up the engine of his car.
Ginevra looks at him, and answers, "Harry came into my office and started to apologize to me but really, Blaise, I just can't talk to him right now. He was just so loud and Kingsley heard us yelling." Said she, turning her face to look out of the window. Blaise looks at her and he thinks she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. He heard them both arguing. In fact, every body in the Ministry did.
He drives out of the parking lot at the Ministry.
"I feel like you are the only one I can trust. And yes, I'd love to go to Italy with you." Whispered she, that last part, 'with you,' so faint he barely heard her.
But he did hear her. His heartbeat picked up in his chest.
Blaise's only answer or acknowledgement was a smile as he continued driving.

"But Blaise! I have nothing to wear." Ginevra protested in a humorous manner as she is laughing because she is nervous in a way. Blaise just told her that he has to meet his mother there at the restaurant.
They are both in his bedroom.
"Yeah, you do too." He takes off his collared work shirt, and hands it to her. "Transfigure this into whatever you want to wear out for dinner."
She stares.
She doesn't see his collared work shirt in his hands and she doesn't make a move to grab it from him. She only sees his toned abs and black hair trailing down below his navel, disappearing behind his belt.
Her eyes find his.
"How long has it been since you have been happy, Ginny?" She remembered hearing from him just this morning.
She decided to risk it. Risk her marriage to Harry.
"Why not?" Thinks she. "There is no real love without trust in a marriage."
She steps closer to the handsome wizard. His hand that was holding his shirt out for her to transfigure whatever she wanted to wear is now on the floor and now both of his hands are tangled in her red hair. She has the palm of both of her hands on his chest feeling his skin.
His skin is burning.
Scorching, even.
Blazing for her.
He pushes her forward slowly until the back of her knees hit the side of the bed, and she leans back on the bed until her back hits the mattress with her legs spread.
He wastes no time in getting on top of her and showing her delight.
Like his tongue in her mouth as they french kiss each other deeply with no regret.
She took off her wedding band to Harry, and it is on the table stand next to them as they both make love to each other in his bed.

Blaise's mother, Ginevra thought on first impression and intuition, is a woman who knows what she wants.
She is beautiful and lethal both in appearance and personality.
"You should kill that Harry Potter to gain his inheritance." Mrs Aaliyah Zabini said to Ginevra. She looks serious and Ginevra couldn't help herself.
"Perhaps you can teach me how." Ginevra smirked, and Mrs Aaliyah Zabini raised her glass of red wine up to her lips and took a sip of it with a twinkle dancing in her eyes. Blaise's hand under the table rested on Ginevra's thigh as if in a comforting gesture.
At the end of the meal, Blaise, Ginevra and Mrs Aaliyah Zabini sat around the table albeit a little tipsy.
"Remember that one year in Hogwarts when I almost knocked you off of your broom during a Gryffindor verses Slytherin Quidditch team match?" Questioned Ginevra.
Blaise chuckled. "Yeah, of course. I had to be in a wheelchair for a week."
"About that - I never got a chance to apologize to you for doing that."
"Don't even worry about apologizing, Ginny. That happened so long ago."
"I know it did. I just feel bad about it." Said she, glancing at Mrs Aaliyah Zabini who was downing a lot of wine at the moment.
He looked at her. He sees her. He noticed it. His high cheekbones and dark slanting eyes like that of a snake.
A dark, handsome snake Ginevra was enthralled with.
Falling deeply and truly in love with as each second passes.
Blaise speaks, "I remember your Bat Bogey Hex that missed hitting me, and that red dress you wore to the Christmas Slug Club. I remember it all."
~*X0X0*~
"My mother likes you." Said he.
"At least some one does." Said she, as she lays down next to him and turns to the side to face him
"You did well on meeting her. She doesn't usually like anybody, but I could tell she likes you." He leans closer to her and his face is so very near hers.
"Good to know." Ginevra said as she kissed him back. "Blaise?"
"Yeah?"
"There is something I have to do before you and I leave for Italy tomorrow morning." He looked at her questionably.
"I'm going to file for divorce from Harry."
"You should of went with my mothers advice. It would serve that prat right."
Ginevra crawled on top of him and began rocking her hips in an alluring manner, and Blaise couldn't help but feel aroused by her, many times over.
"I know." Laughed she. "I just want to do what is right."
Blaise pulled her down for a passionate kiss.
He wasn't going to let her go this time.
-the end-
