Knuckles pov:
I was walking to school.
First day of 10th grades. I missed this place. The teachers, my friends and-
"KNUCKLES!" A crowd of people started cheering as I walked into the school gates.
"being popular as always!'" Great.. When will my popularly end.
I walked to the frouth of the school door and stood there. I took a deep breath.
C'mon Knuckles. You can do this! I looked at everyone. "Can I get everyone's attention! I said. Everyone stopped and looked at me.
"So as you can remember a good friend of my said that we were gonna start a band this year and that is exactly what we are gonna do!"
Sonic and Tails started walking by me. "Everyone give it up for Sonic and Tails!" I said.
"YAY! SONIC! TAILS" Everyone cheered. "But that's not all because we have more people on stage!" Amy, Rouge, Maria, Mighty and Ray all walked on stage as well.
The crowd cheer once again, screaming everybody's names.
Sonic looked at me and said "Well... Looks like we're gonna do great! What do you think Knuckles?"
Inside of the school, in class room 101 aka The private classroom only Knuckles and his friends are allowed in.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE WON'T DO GOOD?!" Sonic yelled at me. "I"m sorry but it's just my opinion! I don't think we're ready yet!"
"That's what you think Knucklehead!" Sonic crossed his arm.
"TAKE THAT BACK YOU LITTLE-" I was cut off by Rouge. "You know, Sonic. Knuckles Does have a point. We've haven't even tried playing any of our songs yet. All we have are the lyrics."
Nobody's pov:
"I guess you two are right." Sonic said. He then pulled out a list. The list had everybody names and role on it.
Maria the Hedgehog and Ray are the lyric writers. Maria also played Piano and Ray played the flute.
Mighty was the guitar player.
Tails was the drummer.
Rouge was one of the background singers.
Amy played the violet.
Knuckles and Sonic were both the singers.
"Hey Knuckles... I feel like we're missing someone." Sonic said.
"Who are we missing?" Knuckles asked.
Sonic looked at Knuckles and said "Well... I thought Silver said that he was going to be in our band."
"I think he said that he was going to help Blaze out. He's so kind!" Maria said. "He also said that it might take a while."
"Oh... I see... I think we might need a need replacement then.." Sonic said. "Knucklehead? Can you help us find a new singer?
"Sure, but it might be tough! I just need to find somebody that isn't so crazy over me." Knuckles said. "And I just know where to find him!"
Knuckles"s pov
It was break time, Sonic and the others were still in room 101. I was walking around the school looking for someone to join our band. I then look ahead and there he was. That black hedgehog from last year. I could never talk to him but finally today is my chance. I don't understand why everyone in the whoke school is so scared of him.
He looks friendly to me and... kinda cute. What am I thinking?! You barely know the guy!
So I walked up to him and said "Hello. I'm Knuckles the echidna!"
"Knuckles the echidna. Heh! Aren't you that one popular student? Pff! Please! whatever fake rumor you want to spread to your fanbase I honesty don't give a damn." He said, looking at his phone.
"I'm not here to spread false information! I just want to know your name and who you are!" I said.
"Okay. Whatever I guess... My name is Shadow the Hedgehog. And I'd rather be alone then hang out with losers like you." Shadow introduced himself. "Now you can leave me alone!" He continued looking at his phone.
"Edgy... So what do you like to do?" I continued asking him questions.
"Let's see... I like to sit by myself, look at memes on my phone and I like to sing. Now shoe!" Shadow said.
"You like to sing? Can you show me?" I'm surprised that he likes singing. I wonder how his wonderful voice would sound like.
"Y-You want me t-to sing?!" Shadow looked up at me. I could see in his eyes that he was nervous.
"Well yeah but are you scared or something?" I asked.
"N-No. I just don't feel like singing!" He said.
"C'mon! I won't make fun of you. How about you meet me at my home after school! You can sing to me there. Besides, it's a very peaceful place. It's just in the sky not so far from here." I suggested.
Shadow stands up and said "Are you the only one that lives there?"
"Of course! Well not really... There are a bunch of little animals running around but they won't judge!" I said. "By the way, would you like to hang out with me?"
"Sounds good I guess." Shadow looked down.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I don't know. I never hung out with somebody before, even somebody as popular as you. I loss a friend and now I'm just this edgy edgelord." Shadow said.
I grabbed his hand and said "Don't worry! I'll make sure you do have friends!"
The bell suddenly rang. "Damn it! Breaks over!" Shadow yelled. "Ugh! Now I have to go over to that annoying teacher with her child again from last year. Stupid Rabbits!"
"You mean Vanilla and Cream? I see nothing wrong with them. They're cool but I will certainly talk to all. of your teaches about you going to room 101 everyday! I'm sure they wouldn't mind." I said.
"Okay." Shadow smiled.
So me and Shadow started heading over to Shadow's 3rd period class which was the room Vanilla teaches in. Shadow suddenly started holding my hand.
I looked at him and said "Are your hands cold?"
"N-No! I'm wearing gloves!" He quickly pulls his hand away from my hand.
Something tells me that he's probably doing that on purpose but I just can't put my finger(or knuckles) on it.
