The teachers had to lead their homerooms down to the gym for the begging of the school year assembly. Taylor walks in and sits next to the rest of the staff. Chad comes over and intrudes himself to everybody and sits next to Taylor. Hey .hey how is it going. I mean I don't have a homeroom so I haven't taught anyone yet so. It's fine you'll be great. Taylor gives him a smile as the assembly started.

Chad couldn't take it anymore. He still felt feelings for Taylor and he couldn't help but think this was fate. He walked up to Taylors room. Knock know. Oh hey, there chad what's up. Taylor capes her pen and stands up. Look, Taylor, I don't know if this is what your thinking or walks in and closes the door. But I can't help think about our last phone call. Chad i. Im not done. Let alone the same one you were teaching at I didn't even know you came back too new Mexico. Chad grabs Taylor's hands. The bell rings. The next period. Taylor doesn't know what to do. She still felt feelings for chad. But they haven't even really had a conversation since they broke up. Their conversations were still very weird. Taylor looks in the mirror and fixes her hair and waits for chad to come up. Before she knows it chad knocks on her door. Hey Taylor, you still up to talk. Yeah yeah go ahead and close the door. Ok, chad walks in and closes the door behind him. So back to what we were talking about. I still feel something here Taylor im not going to lie to you. Chad I can't lie to you either I feel the feelings too. I never lost the feeling. But we haven't talked in almost 8 years. How are you going to expect things to go back to the way they were so fast. Because Taylor I never do you mean. I haven't even been on a date since you broke up with me. Taylor please just give us a chance. Let me at least take you on a date to see if we still feel what we feel please. Taylor looks up at chad and smiles. Fine you can get one date and we can see where it goes, so where are you taking me. I was thinking about the farm and the table. Taylor giggles where we went on our first date. I mean if there is any place to see if we still have a connection then that would be it.
