Jane was getting ready, she was going to go this time. He sent her a message from weller that said,
'Park at 30?'
'I'll be there' she replied
Jane grabbed her keys and closed the door. She started walking to the park because it wasn't far from her safe house, when she got there she saw Welles's back and stood at the same spot as last time. 'What Jane,come on walk' Jane said to herself she forced herself to walk to him. Weller felt someone sit beside him on the bench. He was happy that she came.
"Hey" Kurt greeted her with a smile
"Hi,Kurt" she said and smiled back and sat beside him.
Kurt knew that he had to tell her
"Jane," Kurt started his nervousness could be sensed "I wanna tell you everything" he looked over at jane.
She nodded signaling that he should continue.
"You know the tooth you lost when marcus breaker in your safe house" he said,he looked serious as he said "Patterson ran an isotope test on the tooth and found out that you spent your early childhood in South Africa..."
No.why didn't he tell me?"
"Jane please say something" after a couple of minutes went by.
Her head turned his way rapidly
"You knew they whole time I wasn't Taylor and you didn't bother telling me" her voice was full of tears "you let me get played in oscars hands while I could've held up a fight when he told me I was taylor"
"Jane I'm so so sorry," his apology was sincere "I thought-hoped. No, wanted to believe that you were Taylor," he was debating whether he would tell her or no.
"Mayfair told me I was objective on your case, I didn't want to believe that but I was objective and I'm sorry" Kurt was on the verge of tears
Janes eyes were full of tears. "Did you go to the park that day, did you mean that we were too complicated" she whispered
"Yes jane I was at the park that day and I told you I wasn't to protect my ego, my stupid,dumb ego" he said and then continued "and no jane I didn't think that, I just thought that you thought that night was a mistake, where were you jane that night" he said a little confident that everything between them will be ok.
"You hurt me kurt" her tears falling one after the another " you hurt me when you told zapata you couldn't stand being in the same room as me and you hurt me even more when you told me we were too complicated"
Kurt was in shock. I'm so sorry jane I'm sorry
"I was meeting Oscar that night, I needed to know I was Taylor" she said her tone was soft mixed with hurt and anger.
"Jane I'm sorry, I know there is nothing I can do to make it up but I would love if we could talk regularly and hang out" he said wanting to hear her say sure
" Kurt I can't do this" she signaled between them and stood up " I can't Handle it when you suddenly act so nice to me and then the next day act like you never met me" she was openly crying " I can handle three months of cia torture but not this" Kurt's first tear slid
"I'm sorry, I need to go" she said and walked off
Kurt promised that he will do everything to win her trust again
Ok, this was a hard chapter to read but I love angst stories
