Winter's Mission: I'm glad to hear that! Thank you for commenting!

crzychigurl343: Heh, yeah it's good to have them finally into same wavelength at least for now. These two won't have boring time together for a long time. Thank you for commenting.

Atlafan1286: I'm happy you think like that, it always encourages me to try harder with these stories to give better experience to you all. Thank you for commenting!

I've been rewriting and updating my other stories, so it has taken some time, apologize of that.
Hopefully you're still enjoying!

Hank was between deleting the security footage and letting it be, glancing at his computer from a distance.
He was organizing things at another table, now and then looking at the screen just to see that there was no trouble at the cells.
When he had asked Anna to take some things to Sabretooth, to let the vile man have some treatment as a human being, the blue feral had not...

He had been horrified when Sabretooth had started to get naked, the doctor almost going there and dragging the woman away. But... But but everything that happened before that, how those two had interacted, though no voice was included into the footage, Hank had hesitated. And then, with great unsureness, let it be while doing something else. Checking now and then.
Anna was independent adult. She had demanded to see Victor, and she was staying despite of the unmodesty of the situation. She could when ever she wanted get out of there. She was safe, yes.
...Could he even use this as some kind of research material?

When Ororo, and then Logan, called to ask where Anna was, Hank simply said she was with him. Nothing else. Everything's... Okay.
Though when the woman finally came back into the lab, with the plastic bag containing remains of food and with the bucket, Hank was quickly to apologize deeply.
Anna was none disturbed however.
"It's okay Hank, really", the woman assured, tilting the bucket above a sink and dumbing the dirty water.
The doctor observed the woman's changed attitude, behavior and body language.

"He was just naked, cleaning himself. It's not like he was waving his cock and attacking trough the glass", she snickered, putting away the bucket and throwing the trash into a bin in relaxed manner.

"...May I ask what did you talk about", Hank simply asked.
The woman stopped, then looked at him. For so long that he continued: "I apologize for spying, but it seemed you two had some... Tender moments back there."
"...Yeah", she finally said, facing him fully now.
Then after another silence, she asked in turn: "What did you speak with him before I came, Hank?"

The older feral sighed, gestured her to sit down as he went to make tea water. She sat down, and there was grave atmosphere.
"During our talking sessions", Hank started: "I've come to respect your character, Anna."
"...Okay."
He turned towards her, hands clasped together behind his straight back.

"I do not claim to understand you completely. But, I believe, that you are not a bad person, despite how you see yourself. Despite what you hide from us because how you believe we would react."
Anna tensed, frowning.
Hank was not as good at smelling emotions as Logan or Victor. But he was still a feral and also a doctor. He could sometimes see that Anna was hiding something from him during the sessions as also generally. Something that she carefully kept locked away, even more than her weaknesses.
"And I also care of you, as a friend and as a patient. And that's why I'm worried for you."
"I don't need pity."
"Was it because of pity that you felt protective towards your friend Sarah, and your little brother, Gary?"
The woman didn't answer, so he continued.
"I am curious towards your and Sabretooth's relationship, from science perspective if being honest. It surprises me he can show, or it seems at least, positive feelings towards someone. But understand that I'm also cautious towards him, worried of his intentions towards you. Or can he keep interacting with you without causing physical or emotional harm."

Hank walked to Anna, taking a steady eye contact as he crouched in front of her.
"I do not believe you are a fool, Anna. Loving someone and giving them a chance despite of their past or flaws is kind. But I also want you to be safe, if you are letting him into your life. He has done very bad things, and he should pay for them. And by doing that, if wanting to be with you... I believe it would proof he respects you and the bond between you two, by doing the right thing."

He calmly kept looking at Anna's eyes, seeing hesitation, her jaw and shoulders tensed.
"Now, will you tell at least something, of what you two talked about?"

...Anna believed Hank's words. Somewhat.
He had sounded sincere, caring and logical. She respects him, the feral man who has accomplished so much in his life despite of being a mutant and has most likely been segregated because of his looks.
Anna also respects the X-men. For what they believe in and how they try to make the world better not just for mutants but also to everyone else.
She respects Logan too.
They were all good people, to certain point, and Anna understood their views. She knew that most saw them as righteous people, as saviors and heroes.

She understands and respects that. She was thankful for all they had done for her, helping, supporting and offering. But...
Anna did not see eye to eye with them. She did not share their morals nor views of what is right or wrong.
She doesn't simply care for those things.

For long it disturbed her, her uncaring attitude towards those kind of morals. Ever since she was a child and escaped the cabin, she had understood her views were different from the most. She saw the world as a place where you either hunt or are hunted. Predator or prey.
And so she is ready to fight and kill to stay safe from any threat anyone would impose on her. She liked violence, the control she has with it and overcoming her greater opponents with it.
And she wants to be strong to protect only things and those, that she deems worthy and important to her.
Anyone else? They can do whatever they want, as long as they stay out of her way and leave her alone.

She was so ashamed of herself for so long, through her childhood and until now. Shamed of what she was and never something that could fit in with the rest. She had felt she was not a predator, not a human, not an innocent and normal. Trying to hide from others in fear of being judged and being caged.
But now... Now she had enough.
Seeing that in the X-men's school she yet again was in just another cage. And now finally seeing the continuing loop, between the cabin, the village and the school, Anna was ready to break out.
And Victor Creed, Sabretooth, was gonna be her key out of this. She was gonna open the door and run, doing what was needed to.

So Anna tricked Hank, half-lied to him, calmed his nerves and pretending to understand and share his worries. And to agree for another talking session later. Maybe with Victor, the imprisoned man of course would be staying in his cell.
And Anna returned to her new room, not leaving it for the rest of the long day. Not until it was late night.

During the time that the feral woman has been in the school, she has observed. Asked questions and listened. Coming familiar with the mansion's structure and its security system.
Enough to know, that the camera filming her room's door now and then turned to other direction.
Leaving an opening for certain amount of time for her to dash out of her room and settle against the wall under the camera.
She also knew where the rest of the cameras were in every floor. She could hear where anyone, if still up at this time, was as she quickly made her way downwards.
To the cellar, and to the lab.

Usually Hank kept the door open during daytime, but at nights it was closed.
But he didn't know, that at one point Anna had stolen a spare key card. At the beginning, when she had been brought here, when she had been afraid that the X-men was not to be trusted.
And seems that Hank didn't notice it or hadn't yet bother with changing the key cards, as the doors opened letting Anna into the laboratory.

Things so far going smoothly she was a bit nervous and suspicious, jogging to the control panel that commanded the cells' security.
Looking at the panel, hands hovering over it, Anna glanced at one of the screens.
Victor was already at his cell's door, leaning against the transparent wall.
Glancing back down, Anna tried to find some kind of button or a hint how to open the lab's door leading to the cells as also open the cell's own.
Finding first at least the hallway's button, she reached and pushed it.
She heard the click, lock opening.
Next...
There!

"Don't do it", said a grave voice as Anna's fingertip touched the button, halting from pressing it.
She felt dread as she looked over her shoulder at Logan, who was sitting in a corner. So she couldn't have noticed him, when coming. Being completely quiet, that she didn't hear him.

Logan felt sorrow as also spite towards Anna at that moment. Seeing her there, going to let out Sabretooth in the School full of children and her friends.
They had helped her. Saved and supported.
And this was how she was going to repay it all.
"Have you lost your mind?" the feral man asked, raising up from crouching position. "Why are doing this, Anna?"

She stunk of distress, staring at him with shock. Had she really thought, that no-one would think she would try something stupid? Hank maybe hadn't, Ororo wasn't sure, but Logan... He alone had been suspicious. Seeing how Anna had been ready to defend Sabretooth. She had broke out, attacked one of them, made them attack Wolverine, just to protect Sabretooth from more harm as he had assaulted them.
"Why?" Logan demanded again.

And watched as tension melted off from the woman, who's face changed from guilty into determined one.
"You wouldn't understand", she said evenly. "You are a good person Logan: despite of your believes, you have far more morals than me."

The man startled as she pressed the button while saying: "I've had enough of playing a timid victim."
And Anna continued as he pulled out of his claws, running towards her: "Now I wanna be what I am."

Chuckling as the door opened, Victor walked out of his cell and headed towards the lab where Anna seemed to wait for him.
Though the nature of Sabretooth would like to make some fun ruckus as they would escape. Just to rub it into Runt's and X-men's face, that the bambi had chosen him over anything they were offering.
She has chosen him and was his now.
After they would get out of here Victor was going to shower his mate with things, spoil her a bit. Make her exhausted from his attention and hunger for her. Relax and finally sleep calmly with arms around her. He would take vacation from things, just focusing into this new relationship with Anna, see how this works between them.

Victor felt a bit nervous with every step, going faster, as he tried to ignore silly worried thoughts of her not being there instead, waiting for him. Or that she wouldn't come with him after all. That would be absurd...

Ahead the doors leading into the lab suddenly burst open, something flying through and rolling on the floor forward towards him. Halting with crouching pose, claws ready surprised Sabretooth stared at Wolverine who jumped from rolling to stand.
The shorter feral glanced at him then to the doors where Victor's gaze also followed.

Seeing Anna limping at the open doorway, holding her bleeding side.
"Small problem, as you see", she hollered to him.

And with bared teeth approaching Sabretooth rumbled to Wolverine: "Big mistake Runt!"
