Clyde had gone home at the end of the school day like usual. He waited for a bit inside of Craig's card before the raven haired finally came over and started driving off. He hoped Craig wouldn't ask why Clyde is so upset, so much had happened to him in the past hour that he mostly wants to forget and act like everything is fine.
Once they got to the house, Clyde got out of the car and headed straight to the place he now called his room. He hadn't really set up much, he put a mysterion poster over his bed and had a small picture frame of him, his mom, dad, and sister on his dresser. But the room wasn't him, it wasn't his room.
He laid down on the bed, heaving a heavy sigh. Then, his head looked over to the door as he watches the knob twist, the door pushes open to reveal Kenny, "Hey," Kenny says, going to sit at the end of Clyde's bed, "Everything okay? What happened? I'm so sorry if you didn't want to kiss me or if you don't like me-"
Clyde sat up, setting his hand on Kenny's thigh, it wasn't that he didn't like Kenny, he had so many feelings for the blonde he wasn't sure how to express, "No," Clyde responds, "it's just, it's nothing," Clyde responds, Kenny pushing him back down to wrap his arms around him. Clyde snuggled into his chest, starting to tear up again, "It's just- Cartman."
"What did he do?" Kenny asks, kissing Clyde's head which makes him lean a bit against the soft feeling; a smile forming on his face as Kenny softly rubbed his back.
"It's just-" Clyde sighs, pushing himself more into Kenny's chest, his next words coming up a bit muffled, "He's making it sound like I'm the reason for my dad's death. He keeps saying I killed him, and I just- I don't know…. My dad seemed so happy, he was always there for me and I thought everything was okay, and now I don't know if I did do something wrong to set him off."
Kenny moves over, lifting Clyde's chin up so Clyde looks into his beautiful blue eyes, "You are not responsible for your dad's death. I promise Clyde." Kenny kisses his head once more, "I'm here for you okay? I know this is so difficult."
The brunette heaves a small sob, as he stares at the blonde, "Kenny?"
"Yes Clyde?"
"I'm sorry for how I acted back at school," Clyde responds, "I think- I do think I want to be your boyfriend. But I don't want to hurt you, I don't want to lose you. I lose everyone."
Kenny rubs Clyde's cheek with his thumb, grazing over it so gracefully, "You will never lose me," He says, "I will always be here, when you can't sleep, when everything is falling around you, I will be there. You will always have me."
"Kenny," Clyde soft responds as he feels the hot tears start to well up in his eyes. Why was Kenny so nice to him? Why did he make him feel so warm inside? Clyde started to let the tears out, as Kenny wraps his arms around Clyde in a tight hug.
"You're so adorable," Kenny whispers into Clyde's ear, "I want to keep you safe and protected forever."
Clyde's tears started to stream from his eyes. His walls that he tries so hard to keep up, so easily collapse when he's with Kenny. Salty drops fall from his chin, drenching Kenny's shirt. Kenny refused to look away from his, even if Clyde's lip was trembling, his shoulders hunch as he grips tightly onto the blonde.
When they finally clasped each other in a warm, slow and luxurious hug, they felt all opposition to their love had melted. The blonde's chest rising and falling against Clyde, their breaths in unison, and the warm blood that they could feel in each other's embrace. Clyde soon silenced, the tears come to the stop as he just sat there in Kenny's warm arms.
Kenny pulls back and pokes Clyde's nose before leaning in to kiss him again. Clyde should've expected this to happen, but he wasn't really sure. His arms keeping their tight grip around Kenny as he moves his lips against Kenny's.
The world fell away around Clyde. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below his ear, his thumb caressing his cheek as their breaths mingled, feeling the beating of Kenny's chest against his own.
Clyde then feels a hand travel down his shirt, as he pulls away from Kenny's lips, "You're so amazing Kenny," He whispers, pressing his head against Kenny's chest as Kenny tussles his hands through the brunette's hair.
They then hear the door to Clyde's bedroom open, both of the boys looking to see Craig standing awkwardly there, "Am I interrupting something?" Craig asked, raising an eyebrow at the two.
"No," Clyde responds, scooting away from Kenny, "What's up?"
"Oh, uh, my parents need to talk to you," Craig says, "it's about your dad. The police came by while you're at school, but if you need some time that's okay."
"No, I'll go down there," Clyde says getting up, he was back to his normal self, wiping the tears from his eyes, "Kenny and I weren't doing anything."
"Didn't look like that to me," Craig chuckles, earning a small hit from Clyde, "Anyway, it seemed really important so just kind of like, brace yourself dude."
Clyde looks over at Kenny who gives him a thumbs up and a smile, then he looks back at Craig, "Well, what is it?"
"I'm not going to drop it on you now," Craig says, backing up, "Are you staying?" He then asks Kenny as Clyde moves out of the room.
"No," The blonde says, getting up and following Clyde out, "I was just about to go," He replies.
"Alright," Craig says, starting to head to the stairway.
Kenny looks at Clyde, who was now questionably looking at Craig, not too sure what was going on. Everything felt like a daze, "I'll message you, okay?" Kenny says, kissing Clyde's head.
"Okay," Clyde replies, giving Kenny one last quick hug, the two of them now going down the stairs, "See you tomorrow."
"I'll see you," Kenny says as he goes outside, shutting the door quietly behind him.
