So this chapter we find out that Gojira is the source of a WHOLE LOT of anger at the moment. Truth be told, if he was any angrier, he could probably kill Ghidorah by just glaring at him. Yet again, he may never reach the level of threatening that the Bat-glare gives.
Who knows.
Anyway, this chapter will be more about Gojira contemplating on beating Astra senselessly. He let her walk once, and let Kara have at her the second time. I don't think the third time will go in the General's favor.
How will this conversation turn out?
We will also be getting to the part where we actually begin our story, but with changes. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the chapter.
Now onward with the newest chapter
Ch.16 Get it Off of Your Chest.
Gojira stood infront if Astra's cell, the intensity of his stare unnerved the Kryptonian General a bit. Not that she would admit it, but the glow is rather concerning. The silence remained for a couple of moments before Astra spoke up. "I was hoping for the two of us to speak again." she said, her emotional state returning to that of one of a General.
The hybrid that stood before her crossed his arms as the glare he was giving her remained on his face. "And why is that? Are you looking for someone else's hear to rip out before proceeded to stab it over and over again?"
"I was merely telling her the truth, something that had been hidden from her for too long. I am not as cold and heartless as you're making me out to be. Unlike my sister." she replied heatedly.
Gojira wasn't hearing any of it as he slammed his fist into the glass cell, it cracking in impact, which in turn made Astra instinctively back up. "I don't give a rat's ass about how you feel about your sister. She's gone, no longer among the living. What my issue is that you seemed to have this idea of showing Kara you're not evil... by crushing EVERY good memory she has of Krypton! Of her mother!"
Astra's face remained neutral, but in reality she was taken back by this being's anger, "I wouldn't expect you to understand, hybrid. You did not endure what we had to, the tragic loss of our world or the betrayal me and mine had to suffer simply because we were doing what others clearly could not."
Gojira was silent for a moment before pulling out the scale necklace. "I may not have lost my planet... but I had lost my world. You may think being stuck in a space prison was bad... try being attacked every day, wires stuck to every part of your body, constant shocks, having to either learn or die. Not being seen as one of them, but being experimented on like I was nothing but a RAT!" He yelled that last part out. "A space prison would have been paradise compared to that nightmare."
Silence returned for a moment before Gojira spoke again. "I may not have lost a planet, but I do listen. Kara had told me all about where she was from, her family, her friends, everything that she lost when her mother put her in that pod. I see the pain in her eyes, though she always tries to act optimistic. It hurts me seeing someone like her having to suffer from her past."
Gojira then paced back and forth for a bit before he spoke up. "She does have family though, her cousin for starters. Despite no longer being 'younger' than her, he is still a very big part of her life and had helped her when she came to Earth. And you know who else she has? You... her aunt, her second mother, her confidant when she needed advice. But unlike Kal-El, you bring nothing but pain to her, wanting her to be something that she is no-"
"How would you know anything about who she is or what she could become?!" Astra demanded loudly. "What right do you have to judge me or how I am to Kara?!"
That comment made the glow on Gojira turn from blue to a surprisingly new color. A deep orange-red. "Because I love her dammit!" He yelled out as he slammed both fists into the side of the cell, and he could see in Astra's eyes, he could see fear. "She may match me in power, but I promised her that no matter what I would be there for her. She has this optimism and this drive to help all that you, or hell I will never truly understand. She had the purest heart of anyone I've ever met, her kindness never-ending."
He then took a deep breath as the glow began to change back to normal, but he wasn't done. "I don't give a damn if you're her aunt, I have one message for you..." That's when his voice grew dark and booming."If you EVER hurt her again, I will kill you where you stand. Then I will go to Fort Rozz, yeah I know where your people are, and I will open up the gates to Hell, and I will unleash a fury that no mortal being has ever seen!"
The threat was all to serious, Astra would be a fool if she saw it as otherwise. The cold venom in his voice echoed through the room, and Astra could look on not only in surprise, but in fear and respect. Here was a being unafraid of killing her, but he also knew where her base of operations was located. He had no fear of her, Non, or the entire prisoners in the prison. Which meant one thing. When she got out, he would have to be dealt with.
She looked closer at the young man, her eyes are not enhanced thanks to her imprisonment, but they were still sharp and took in his every detail. He showed his face to an enemy, even though she was well aware of who he was, but it provided that he didn't fear her and was almost daring her to come after him. His eyes, hard and dangerous, proving that his threats were real. She also saw that determined spark, one that reminded her of her neice's.
Astra recalled what he had said about Kara, the powerful emotions in his words, aswell as the night she first met the man, how both him and Kara were willing to rip her apart if she went after either of them. It made her eyes widen. "I never thought I would see the day..." she said quietly. "Zhor Chao Shesur."
"Yeah," Gojira growled out, crossing his arms as his glow began to vanish and his claws shifted back into hands. "I'm aware, both me and Kara are aware of it." He then turned to head towards the door. "I've said my piece... this conversation ends now."
"Zilla!" the General called, bringing his attention back to her. "Make her happy," she said before she sat back down on the bench.
Gojira glanced back at her, and then he nodded. "I will... but my threat still stands." With that, he was out the door, with one destination in mind.
Minutes later, Zilla was leaping from roof to roof, heading straight for Kara's apartment. He was glad that the city was surprisingly quiet, making him have no pit stops between the DEO and his destination.
He saw that her apartment was close and just as he leaped through the air, he changed back to Gojira and landed on the balcony. He proceeded to enter the apartment before see Alex on the couch. She looked in surprise to see Gojira entering through the balcony, but she knew he had one thing in mind.
"How is she," Gojira asked slowly as he looked at his girlfriend's sister.
Alex sighed. "She's a mess right now, and she doesn't want anyone but you in there." She then got up and looked to him. "As much as I want to know how you are Zilla... I have paperwork I got to do. Please... please take care of my sister."
"You know I will, Alex," Gojira said, getting a nod from the older Danvers sister before she headed out the door, leaving the hybrid to start making his way towards the door to Kara's bedroom.
He could hear her sniffling on the other side if the door, which he opened. He saw that Kara was curled up in a ball on her covers, sobbing quietly. It broke the hybrid's heart to see her like this as he made his way over to her.
He then then layed down next to her before he wrapped his arms around her shaking frame and pulled her into his chest. Kara took in a shuddering breath before she rolled over, burrowing her face in the crook of his neck as she wrapped her arms around him in return, taking in his warmth and comfort as the torrent of emotions flooded through her. Neither saying a word as they simply lied there, Gojira instinctively running his hand through her blonde hair rhythmically to hopefully help ease her troubled heart.
A minute of silence later, Gojira quietly asked. "Do you wanna talk about it?"
The Girl of Steel sniffed, "I just can't believe what my mother did...she knew how much Astra had meant to me, and she just used me to get her imprisoned." she burrowed her face into him a little more, "Everything I thought I knew was a lie. And with everything Astra's doing now...I don't know what to think anymore."
"I don't know what to tell you, Kara... but the way I see it, both your mother and Astra have made mistakes, mistakes that effected you more than anything else. I am sure of one thing Kara, your mother wouldn't want you to have the consequences of her mistakes on your mind. She's want you to chase what makes you happy, and make your own path. As for Astra, I made my statement clear to her."
"How do you think, my mother would want that," Kara asked as she looked up at him.
Gojira took a deep breath, remembering something from his past, the night before his mother died to be exact and what she said there came back to him. "Despite the decisions they make, a mother loves you with everything they have. Any mother would do what they must to ensure that their child is safe...even if they have to break both their own and their child's heart and send them away to make that happen." He remembered her saying this, as she was planning to bust him out that night before they were caught. Which lead to that memory.
For several long moments there was silence, then the Kryptonian moved her head onto her boyfriend's chest. "Thank you..." she whispered softly, her chest still very warm from his words alone.
"It's what I am here for, beautiful," Gojira said as he sat up, but before he got off the bed, Kara grabbed his hand. "Please don't go," Kara said, her voice a bit pleading.
Gojira gave her a small smile as he layed back down. "Never," he said as Kara snuggled up against him. They remained like that until both had fallen asleep, happy to have each other near.
In the morning Gojira had woken up early, Kara not long after, and the two were currently sitting on the couch. Kara cuddled into Gojira's side as they were discussing the hybrid's conversation with her aunt the day before.
"I'm surprise she didn't threaten you," Kara admitted.
Gojira sighed. "I think I scared the living daylights out of her to be honest. I did kinda, threaten to burn her and her entire group to the ground."
"You threatened my aunt," Kara asked in surprise.
Her boyfriend nodded slowly. "I was seeing red after she caused you to cry like that, and I kinda stormed through the DEO without my face covered and then nearly took her head off. She still cares for you though, Kara... she just has a strange way of expressing it."
"I don't know if things will ever go back to the way it was between me and her," Kara told him.
"I would be amazed if it were to work that way," Gojira admitted, "just talk to her... nothing more, nothing less."
Kara took that into thought. Gojira usually knew what to say, and it usually turned out fine. Maybe he'll be right once again. "I should probably go get ready for work," Kara said after a moment.
"I need to head out to..." Gojira admitted, "I have to shower and everything."
The two then shared a kiss. "Then you better hurry up before you're late," Kara said as she kissed him again.
"I love you," Gojira said as they broke the second kiss. This made the Kryptonian freeze. "Y-you do?" she asked shyly.
Gojira smiled as he nodded. "Yes, I do."
Kara then smiled as she then kissed Gojira a bit more deeply than before, with the hybrid returning it full force. They then broke up the kiss moments later. "I love you too," Kara replied with a smile, half of her wanting to call in sick, but both her and Gojira needed to head out.
"I'll see you after work," Gojira said as he then went out through the door, leaving Kara to sigh happily as she went to get ready for work.
Several hours later, business was shorter today for Gojira, making him get off early. He heard George contemplating on selling the old place, which made the hybrid worry. If he sold the building... then he'd have to move out. He was currently walking, thinking of finding a new place to live.
As he thought on this, his thoughts were taken from him when he felt his head piece going off. He then tapped his ear and answered. "Hello?"
'Goji, somethings going down at Lord Technologies,' the voice of Winn said, making the son of Godzilla tense.
Gojira quickly replied. "Who's there?"
'It's Non. The DEO are heading to confront them as we speak,' Winn told him..
"You sure they're in there," Gojira asked as he headed towards Lord Technologies in a dead sprint.
'Yes, Kara told me to let you know as soon as I could,' Winn said as Gojira quickly made his way there. Once there, he raced into the building as he then heard the sound of fighting and gunfire going on. He was then slipping through the halls, observing the DEO soldiers beginning to get overwhelmed by the criminals. Some made advancements towards him, but those that did were quickly subdued with either broken necks or jaws.
He then made it to the main area of the building, where most of the fighting was going on. He then saw Alex getting approached by the Non, Astra's husband and according to Kara a jackass of an uncle. The Kryptonian's eyes then began to glow red as he stalked over to the older Danvers sister. Alex in response was desperately firing bullets at the Kryptonian general, but all they were doing was bouncing off him.
"Winn!" Gojira yelled into his comm set. "The cameras, are they off?"
"They're off," said Winn through the headset, "but what if the DEO sees you change..."
Gojira growled as he charged towards Non. "To hell with it. Kara won't get here fast enough."
He managed to step in front of the heat vision, just as it was about to hit Alex, taking the blow for his girlfriend's sister. "Gojira!" Alex said in concern, just as Supergirl busted through the ceiling, just to see her boyfriend get nailed by a blast of heat vision by her uncle. Yet surprisingly, it wasn't going through him, she knew his Titan form could take heat vision, but she didn't expect him to take a heat vision attack head on in human form. A matter of fact, it only seemed to be pissing him off.
Glaring at the male Kryptonian, Gojira then shifted into Zilla, gaining the entire room's attention. All the Kryptonians and prisoners that followed Nom looked in shock and fear as the Prince of Monsters stood over their leader. Gojira then looked down at Non, and the growled at him.
Then a single swipe sent Non flying back, and it left an opening for Kara to charge in and start raining fists down onto her uncle. Non three a few ofhis own right back. The two Kryptonians leaping away from one another and taking to the air above everyone.
"Do you remember me, little girl?" Non asked pointedly.
"Non, Astra's husband." Kara said clearly.
The General smirked, "To think, you're the last daughter of the once great House of El."
"You're going to wish I died with the rest of them," Kara growled back, bit before she lunged forward, she gained an idea "but first I think, my boyfriend would like to have some words with you first," she said with a smirk as Zilla stood to full height, his head reaching to where he was looking right at Non. "Am I right... Zilla?"
The response she received was an earth shaking roar that made all the other Kryptonians hold their ears in pain as they weren't use to the power and volume behind the roar. The couple then took advantage as Zilla then sent Non crashing into the ground with a tail strike, and Supergirl following up with ramming him to the floor.
Zilla would have followed, but several other Kryptonians got into his path. It made the Prince of Monsters smirk. This was going to be fun.
So Zilla stands before Non, and he's not in a talking mood, neither is Supergirl. They both ready to kick some ass, take some names, and all that fun stuff.
Though that will only be half the fun, as a certain someone is preparing to make his move on Gojira. How will that go for the hybrid?
One way to find out. Also... should I have Mon-El be evil, but starts out as good, when I bring him into the story, or should I make him a good guy, who tries to steal Kara, but then realizes that he can't.
I would also wanna hear if you have any personal fight, either god or monster, you'd want to see target Gojira next. I mean I've got four monster fights guaranteed and two god fights, but I want to know if you'd want any other fights to happen.
Don't forget to review and check out my profile for my other stories. Peace Out.
