As we entered the antechamber, Yunalesca appeared and started descending the steps. She explained to us what the final summoning was. After the explanation, Yuna asked for a moment. Yunalesca gave it to her, and backed into the door she had come from.

Everyone in Yuna's group beside Auron, Tidus, and Rikku volunteered. Ben knew what I had to do, but Andrew started begging me not to do this. I pulled Andrew close and whispered in his ear. "I am not going to die or get the Final Aeon. Trust me, I know what I am doing."

I waited for Yuna to make her choice. When she was ready, we went to meet Yunalesca again. When we stood in front of her again, Yuna asked about Sin. Hearing the truth about Sin was what Yuna needed to hear.

I saw it in her eyes. She would choose no one to become her Fayth.

"I would have gladly given my life for the people of Spira. I live for the people of Spira. But the final summoning is a tradition that should be thrown away." Yuna spoke in a firm voice. Yunalesca tried to dissuade her, but Yuna was steadfast. That is when Yunalesca reared her ugly head.

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!" Auron called out, preparing for battle.

"Yuna needs Kimarhi. Kimarhi protect Yuna." Kimarhi stated while Rikku said, "Well, I am fighting!" Wakka continued with, " I can't believe we are going to fight Lady Yunalesca. Give me a break." Lulu replied to Wakka with, "You could always run."

"Hah! I'd never forgive myself...no way! Not if I ran away now. Even in...death, ya!" Wakka finished as he prepared for battle. Lulu retorted with, "My thoughts exactly."

"Yuna! This is our story! Now let's see this thing thru together!" Tidus joined in. Yuna nodded. That is when Yunalesca started attacking. We fought long and hard. It seemed to take forever, but we finally saw Yunalesca defeated. She uttered her final words about how the light had gone out. Yuna turned to leave, but I headed over to the stairway to the left. In an old chest hidden by a broken pillar, was the Sun Crest. I pocketed it and joined Yuna.

No one could believe we had done it. We fought or way past the fiends on our way out, but they were not as bad as they were going in. When we got to the outside of the dome, Sin was there. As Sin left, the Airship appeared. Seems like Cid was hoping Yuna was okay.

Cid landed so we could board. When we got to the bridge, Yuna introduced me to her Uncle Cid. Cid seemed happy that Yuna was okay. That is when I asked to talk to him privately. He looked confused but followed me.

"Yuna refused the final Aeon. We defeated the unsent Yunalesca, now we need your help. If you truly want Sin to go away forever, we will have to have help." I told him. He seemed pleased as punch at the news that there would be no more final summoning.

"You just say what you need and I will make it happen." He told me a smile on his face. I smiled, shook my head and told him we needed to get stronger. And I knew just the place. But we needed to get the other two Aeons first. I told him we needed to get to Bevelle first. Then we needed to get to Baaj Temple. He looked confused at the mention of Baaj Temple, so I told him it was were Rikku met Tidus. He understood then where we needed to go.

As soon as we made it back to the bridge, he set a course for Bevelle.

"We need to talk to Maester Mika. Then plan our next course of action." I told Yuna, who nodded in agreement. It would take a couple of hours, but we needed to rest anyways. So we rested while Cid directed the airship to Bevelle.

A couple of hours later we were as rested as we could get, and landed close enough to Bevelle. As we approached Bevelle, a person came out to greet us. It was Shelinda, whom we had met on the Mi'ihen Highroad. We told her that we needed to meet with Maester Mika, and she said she could arrange it.

Maester Mika saw us and asked why we were not going after Sin. So Yuna told him that we defeated Yunalesca. To say he didn't take it well is an understatement. He clued us into a few things before departing for the Farplane. This came as a shock to the group because they didn't know he was unsent.

Shelinda came to see if Maester Mika had shown up, and Rikku and Tidus were the champs of the day. They told her that he hadn't shown up yet, and Auron asked how long they must wait. That is when Yuna, Tidus, and I saw the Fayth of Bevelle.

We led the group back down to the Chamber of the Fayth. The others stayed outside, but Tidus insisted on going inside. That talk was more for Yuna's benefit than mine. So while they talked I watched Yuna and Tidus's reactions. They didn't disappoint. That is when I brought up the hymn of the fayth. That got them talking. Soon, Yuna and Tidus were done. As we were leaving, Shelinda caught up and apologized but she couldn't find Maester Mika. We had something to ask her.

"When an airship starts singing the Hymn of the Fayth, we need everyone to sing along. It will help us defeat Sin. Can you spread the word?" I asked of her. She repeated the information back and when I nodded, she said she could try.

We got back on the airship, and Yuna asked me where we needed to go next.

"Baaj Temple," I answered shortly. Cid knew where to take us already. It would take an hour he said. Yuna asked me why we were going there, and I told her why. Another Aeon. We would need all the help we could get.

We eventually got there, and Tidus mentioned this huge fiend that lived there when he saw where we were. Ben and Andrew for some reason ready to help. I told Tidus that those who went needed to stay as close to the surface as possible so we could heal. I gave Rikku armor and items and told her to stoneproof the armor. Luckily she could.

Soon Rikku, Tidus, and Wakka were ready to go. If it breached the surface, Lulu was ready with her spells, and I and Yuna were healers in this battle. Ben, Andrew, and Auron were to keep watch for fiends.

Wakka, Rikku, and Tidus were ready. At my cue, they jumped in and splashed about. It didn't take long for the fiend to show. They kept as close to the surface as promised so that Yuna and I could heal them. It took a good hour but they did it. We all carefully got in the water after that.

We made it to the doors and found a hole to get in the trials. I had completed all the temples perfectly so we were granted access. When we were ready to walk in, I stopped Yuna.

"This is Anima. Seymour used this Aeon in Luca Stadium. This Aeon is his mother, be prepared." I told her as we prepared to enter. She nodded and followed right on my heels.

As we entered, the Fayth came alive. I knew what it would ask.

"Why do you seek my power?" Seymour's mother asked. Yuna went to speak but I spoke first.

"Your power will help us defeat Sin for good. To make a world where kids can grow up with their parents, and parents can see their children grow. We are fighting for this world." My voice broke at the end of my speech. Yuna looked hard at me. I think it was because I never really included myself much.

As if waiting to hear that answer, Seymour's mother turned Fayth nodded and gave us her power. As we left, hiding in the darkness was another familiar face. My best friend, Drew, hidden in the shadows. I guess that even my friends were in this world. The only reason I was able to see him was I was looking at the right place at the right time.
