Just as suddenly as it began the laughing stopped and Alan Rickman the lion had returned. It was like it was my arch enemy now. I have to admit I like the idea of having a nemesis. What the reason are I can't say. Maybe it's my inner nerd showing?

"Ready for Round three?" The lion said. "How did you like my grand entrance?'' The lion continued. It was pretty epic I have to say. If only all monsters could enter like that. It would make things very interesting.

"Well this is a historic structure. I'd rather not destroy it." I told the lion trying to reason with it. I'm not the most charismatic person but I figured id give it a try.

"Then give me the compass and sword and Ill be on my merry way." The lion asked surprisingly. Why would I hand over the sword and compass to a lion? What could he possibly want it for?

"Mr Lion I respectfully decline.'' I told him as Annabeth Said "Percy what are you doing? You're trying to reason with it?'' She continued as Leo threw a ball of fire at Rickman the Lion sending It into the wall and cracking it.

"Guys let's get out of here before the lion destroys this magnificent structure." They seemed to agree with me as we all ran to the Maserati and I got in. I put the petal to meddle as the lion ran after as.

"Where are we heading too?'' I asked briefly forgetting about the huge lion chasing us. Annabeth was looking at the map. It was hard to ignore as it was glowing brightly. "St Louis'' She said curtly as I noticed the lion was chasing us down the highway through the rear view mirror. I wonder what the mortals we're seeing through The Mist as they appeared to be trying to get out of the way of something.

A few minutes later the lion said in a booming angry voice "Fine run away you cowards! You haven't seen the last of me River Boy. I'll get you and your little car too.'' the lion said as he disappeared into thin air.

There was an awkward silence for a moment and then I spoke "Can someone check how long a drive it is to St Louis?" to which Annabeth responded "I think the car would know best."

I didn't know how to address the vehicle so I merely said "Vehicle what is the fastest route St Louis?"

The car replied in its British accent "getting fastest route . Journey expected to take six hours."

"six hours? That was a long drive and with the way things were going I had a strong feeling we couldn't waste time driving. There had to be a faster way.

"Vehicle?" I said again to which it replied "Yes Lord Jackson?' I felt like I was talking to Siri.

"Is there a faster way? When i first acquired you on Olympus my father mentioned you can take you anywhere I want." I felt stupid but the car responded with "I have a chariot mode that will be much faster but it requires you to activate it again."

"I hereby order you to activate it. Get us to St Louis as quickly as possible." I ordered in my Olympian voice as the convertible top went up automatically.

"Guys what;'s happening? Leo asked with worry. I couldn't blame him he had never experienced this car flying.

"Flight mode activated. Please hang on and keep hands and legs instead the vehicle at all times." The car said as it lifted off the highway and up into the sky. It felt like a plane taking off. I wondered what mortals were seeing via the mist. Why did I keep thinking about this? Did it really matter?

"Prepare for chariot speed." The car said as it lurched forward and I was pulled back into my seat. It was probably what light speed or warp drive felt like if such a thing really existed.

I looked out and we weren't going that quickly but it felt like at least the speed of an airplane.

After a short while we landed on a highway with a bridge up ahead. How The Mist managed this I'll never know but just before landing the car said "destination ahead over bridge. Prepare to resume manual operation." I put my hands on the steering wheel and despite landing on a highway the transition was seamless. It was as if we were driving on the highway the entire time.

As we crossed the bridge the Mississippi River spoke to me in a deep voice " Lord of Rivers what an honor to have you finally cross me. I welcome you to St Louis." The river said as I found this odd. Other rivers I crossed didn't do this but I was still fairly new to this whole thing. Perhaps rivers had their own personalities? Whatever the case I thanked Mississippi and it replied back " You are most welcome." As I was given a glare by Annabeth. I do need to learn how to talk to bodies of water mentally.

I noticed that Annabeth pulled out the map we had been using since leaving camp. It was glowing again and had clearly changed.

"Where are we going?" I asked eagerly awaiting the response. "We are going to the St Louis Art Museum. This time we need the armor of Perseus." I found it interesting we seemed to be collecting artifacts of my namesake but I was sure it would have some sort of significance at some point. The beautiful skyline of St. Louis came into view as the map appeared to change into a map of the city.

Annabeth used it to navigate the city. After about 12 minutes we arrived at the museum and parked the car. I wondered how we obtain this armor. A sword and compass are one thing but a suit of armor? Thats a whole other ball game but I along with Annabeth and Nico were gods Im sure we could think of something. Plus we had Leo with us and he was very resourceful.

This was getting to be too simple though I thought as we walked up the stairs. I wondered if our lion friend would return yet again. Why I don't know. The thought simply crossed my mind.

As we entered the museum the map glowed once more and Annabeth unfolded it. The map had morphed into a map of the building. I would love to know how it works someday. I guess I'll have to ask Athena when I get back to Olympus. I glanced at the map for a moment to find the section where armor would be.

"It looks like it's in the West Wing of the museum." I said pointing to the West Wing.

"What's in the West Wing?" asked Nico and I replied "It is forbidden." Everyone got a good laugh.I couldn't resist. I had to do it. "Nice Disney reference. Apollo would be proud." Annabeth said. I really am becoming more and more like an Olympian every day and to think I ever considered for a moment turning them down.

"Thank you my dear." I said to Annabeth as I turned to Nico " To answer your question that's where the armor exhibit is."

"I should have guessed that. Shall we?" Nico replied as he put the map back in his pocket and we headed off to the West Wing. It didn't take us long to find what we were looking for. The armor consisted of a silver colored cutlass with shoulder coverings and what looked like carvings for abs and chest. It also had silver colored bracers with leather pants and a silver armored boots. It was as if to show one was jacked underneath the armor. As I looked it over I wondered why this was here and not in a museum in Greece but upon further inspection it appeared to be labeled as a generic set of armor from Ancient Greece. I guess they didn't know what they had.

"How do we get this out of here?" I asked quietly as to not arose suspicion. I was wondering what Annabeth and the others would come up with. I was not the best at thinking of plans.

Annabeth was the first to speak "What we did in Philadelphia likely isn't going to work here as it's too big and bulky. It not like a suit of armor is easy to carry either." I agreed with her assessment.

Nico then chimed in with "Im inclined to agree a sword is one thing but this?" There was an awkward silence for a moment and Leo chimed in "Guys I have a solution. My tool belt and bag is Olympian technology. Bigger on the inside like the TARDIS in Doctor Who. Where do you think the creators got the idea from? They were demigods including those of the revived series. Crazy when you think about it right?" Leo said with some enthusiasm. It was weird to think about how much Olympus influenced pop culture to this day.

"Yeah it is but that doesn't solve the problem of getting it out of here." I replied to which Leo responded " I could attempt to will it into my bag. I have been experimenting with my powers at camp." Leo said. Well that was convenient I thought as I told him "Its worth a try. Go for it." Sorry I forgot to mention Leo had a backpack with him he brought from camp. Even Gods can be forgetful.

Leo stood in front of the case with his eyes closed for I would say at least a minute. I was beginning to wonder if it was even working. I was about to ask him if it was doing anything when he opened his eyes in a creepy way and said "I think iv'e done it. Open my bag" The armor in the case had vanished so he must have done it.

I preceded to open Leo's bag and to my utter surprise I could feel the armor in there! It really was bigger on the inside. Olympian technology is amazing.

"We are going to have to replace this." I told Leo. The museum staff would obviously notice it was missing.

"Already on that, watch this." Leo said as he snapped his finger and a copy of the Armor appeared in the case. The security staff would probably think it was a camera glitch or something. I had no idea Leo could do that. Perhaps he was more powerful than I thought he was.

It was then I heard a roar. Our friend the lion had returned yet again. A moment later he appeared and spoke but in a different voice this time "You again! Why do I keep getting summoned to you?" the Lion scoffed in a voice that sounded a lot like Morgan Freeman. It could change its voice now? I guess its Morgan Freeman the Lion now?

"How the heck should I know and why are you asking me?" I asked the lion. I knew things were getting weird when i'm having an in depth conversation with a lion.

"Because Im getting tired of this. I don't want to do it anymore. It's been long enough. Get out of here. Take your stupid suit of armor with you." The lion ordered. What was going on with the world when a monster was tired of fighting?

"Its not stupid."I exclaimed as I pondered was i really reasoning with a monster for the second time? I didn't even know they could reason. I always thought the only thing they wanted was to cause mayhem regardless the lion spoke again "I don't care what it does or what its significance is. Take your artifact and go. I think I'm going to retire to Madagascar."

"Your really letting us go?" Annabeth asked the lion to which he replied "Yes. Now go."

"Very well then." Said I as we all left the museum. The map glowed again and showed us a map of Las Vegas. My heart sank at the image. I really hoped we were not going where I thought we were. That was the last place I wanted to return to.
