Now... for the moment you've all been waiting for... THE RECAP! (Yes, I'm aware that no one probably cares, but bear with me here.)
Recap: Miria goes with Lily Fairchild to Lily's friend's home, but then she realizes that the boy who lived there is dead. She runs to her home but her foster siblings are dead as well. She begins running to New York as she was advised to do by a woman in a dream, but when she's near Camp Half-Blood, she gets attacked by a hellhound, but Leo is luckily in the area and saves her. Leo takes her to camp, and after she gets released from the infirmary, he shows her around. Then Miria gets claimed by Melinoe, so she stays in the Hades cabin but hates Nico instantly. Leo takes Miria to find a weapon and she chooses twin Stygian iron katanas. Nico and Miria are about to spar, but before they do, Nico asks Miria a question. But Miria isn't paying attention, and Nico is about to slap her because he believes she is ignoring him, but stops himself at the last minute. However, he touches her cheek, and Miria gets angry that he was about to slap her, so she goes to find Leo. Miria complains to him about Nico, but Leo says that they're actually similar. A few days later, Miria is training again, but Nico offers to train with her. After they spar for a little, Nico asks Miria why she hates him, and Miria being Miria avoids the question. Nico gets angry at this and accidentally reveals Miria's last name, which makes Miria furious because he kept it from her. After a few days of sulking, she goes to Bunker Nine to find Leo and meets Calypso. Calypso and Miria walk around camp together, but Nico seeks Miria out and he apologizes. Miria apologizes as well, and they become friends. But when they're sparring, Miria accidentally uses her ability to go through anything, so when Nico accidentally fatally stabs her, she just passes out. When she regains consciousness, she starts off in the infirmary, but then her abilities kick in and she falls into Hades' throne room. Hades threatens her to be nice to Nico, then summons Nico to take Miria. They shadow travel back to camp, and after making sure Miria is okay, he sends her away to talk to Nico. Miria goes back to her cabin but then falls asleep outside, so when Nico comes back, he takes her inside. Miria wakes up and they talk, but Melinoe comes. To Miria, she looks like she does in her true state, but for Nico, she looks like his mother. Before Melinoe leaves, she tells Miria that she's waiting for Miria to join her. Then Miria passes out, and when she wakes up, Nico is an "emotional wreck" and avoids Miria at all costs. So Miria starts skipping lunch and dinner so he can eat, and she spends time by herself, but Calypso, Piper, and Annabeth meet her when she's walking around in the strawberry fields. While they talk, Miria thinks about her friend, Sophia, who killed herself around a year ago, and when Calypso realizes something's wrong and asks, Miria runs to the infirmary to throw up.

ONTO THE NEXT CHAPTER!
P.S. wow, that author's note was 613 words long!
Will Solace pushed a plate of food in front of me to eat, glaring at me like there was no tomorrow. I would've glared if I didn't feel like passing out or like hunger was crawling up my throat.
Yes, I know I said that I ate a heavy breakfast—and I did! A few pieces of pomegranate and a couple of bites of an omelet is a big breakfast!
But Will Solace—curse the bossy son of Apollo—didn't agree with me. Apparently, I wasn't eating enough, and I guess that could be possible. Stress works wonders on me.
Why was I stressed?
Well, remember the threat that Hades was kind enough to give me if I didn't treat Nico well?
Nico freaking di Angelo couldn't stand to be in the same freaking area as me.
We were getting along splendidly.
Why couldn't Hades have hated his son? If he did, I wouldn't potentially be killed for my mother messing up! I wouldn't be eating one meal (or as Will calls it, a snack) because of the stress!
Melinoe royally fucked up my life.
I let the cruel, selfish thoughts bang around in my skull whilst Will continued to glare at me. Then, he broke his epic staring contest with me with a sigh.
"You're a lot like Nico, ya know," he said with a soft smile.
"When he has a lot on his plate, he doesn't eat as well?" I smirked a fatigued smirk. "Pun entirely intended."
"And many other ways as well," Will agreed. "Now eat."
"Will you let me starve myself?" I sighed. Then I smirked the same smirk. "Ooh, I'm on a roll,"
He fake pouted. "Hey, not my fault that my father willed for me to be named that. And please eat, Miria, before I curse you to rhyme whenever you speak."
I gulped dramatically. "You wouldn't dare." I whispered.
He grinned evilly. "Oh, I would."
I heaved a sigh. "You leave me no choice, William Solace." I took a bite of the sandwich he got me, chewing it slowly. "You have a good taste in sandwiches."
"Thank you," He straightened his posture with pride and looked at me with a elegant look in his eyes. I stifled a laugh. "I take pride in my sandwich selecting abilities." Then, he turns serious. "So what's got you so anxious?" I continued stuffing my face with the sandwich, making Will sigh. "Or you could just ignore me."
Guilt flashed through me. "Sorry," I mumbled. "Jokes and avoiding the conversation are kids of my coping mechanism."
Will nodded understandingly. "Busying myself is mine," he admitted. "That's why I like to heal so much; I don't really think about anything when I do that."
"Better to heal than to inflict terror," I agreed bitterly, thinking about my mother's favorite pass time... and mine.
Will's blue eyes widened. "Miria, that's not what I meant." he said firmly.
I nodded. "That's what I meant."
Will frowned, and after a moment of hesitation, he asked, "What makes you think that? Because everyone who knows the real you loves you." After a thoughtful second, he added, "Like a friend, of course,"
I hesitated, but then came to the conclusion that I could trust Will. He had a calming air around him, making everyone who met him trust him. So I said, "Back in Wisconsin, which is where I lived, I used to love to scare people. I've always been good at figuring out people's regrets and fears, and I used the knowledge to threaten people. I know it's a disgusting habit, but I did it anyway."
Will gave me a quizzical look, as if he didn't believe me. "What type of people did you... use your knowledge against?"
I shrugged. "People who need to hurt others to make themselves feel better. Like Drew, except things sometimes got physical."
Will's smile came back. "I knew it. You were defending others, weren't you?"
I hesitated. I should've shaken my head 'no' so Will could realize what an awful person I was. But instead I said, my silvery-blue eyes beginning to well up, " I made them cry, Will. I was like a monster. Sure, they made others cry, but I did the same to them, which makes me no better."
Will shook his head, making his shaggy blonde hair bounce around his head. "Sure, it doesn't make it right, but did you feel good about it?" I shook my head 'no'. "Did you do it for fun?" I shook my head again. "Did you continue doing it even after they started crying?" I shook my head one last time. As soon as my victim started crying, I stopped; tears draw the line. "The you're not a bad person." he finished. I smiled.
But the person who ran in next made me scream in shock.
That must seem pretty random. It really is.
I can't stop smirking right now, though. Why? I was FaceTiming my school friends, and my sister (Kiran [not her actual name, of course], if you've read my other fanfiction Between two Worlds [yes, that's me self-advertising]), was yelling at my mom. My two best friends heard it...
Also, one of my two best friends was talking about how a kid tried to drown her with seaweed... and I delivered the perfect pun... "That's what I call a Seaweed Brain."
I know, I'm so funny.
I don't actually know why I shared those stories. Whatever.
Well, that's it!
