Exams: For My Brother, Go Berzerk!
"You're so awesome, Katsu!" Renaru yelled, walking out in his walker, the wheels clicking. I turned to him.
"Ren, didn't Ma tell ya to stay inside?" I asked, his big red-brown eyes dropping down to his feet.
"Aw! But I wanna go see if we can catch Endeavor on patrol! Don't you wanna see if we can?" he whined. I stood next to him, pulling him into a one armed hug.
"One day, I'mma make damn sure we get to BE like Endeavor and leave this bad part' a town… get all the food we want, make Ma happy, maybe get a couple'a girls?" I asked.
"Katsu… I can't," Renaru sighed.
"Ren, then I'll be the hero for both of us! You won't hafta worry… I'll be here, no one's gonna hurt ya anymore…" I murmured.
"Promise?" he asked.
"I promise… Renaru,"
"Other than winning your heart, he was doing nothing but playing pretend as a false hero. He's such a convincing actor,"
I hated feeling so weak. So many expectations. So many expectations. I had to replace Dad. I had to keep Mom and Renaru safe. I can barely remember a day where Renaru never got hurt. I was always there when Mom wasn't.
When Mom would drink, I'd be there for Ren.
When Mom would cry, I'd be there for Ren.
When Mom would leave every Valentine's Day, I'd be there for Ren.
Seeing him so selflessly throwin' himself into fights reminded me so much of Endeavor in the movies. He never once was scared. And the amount of times Renaru ran headlong into danger without listenin' to me, just runnin' in?
Every time, I felt myself die a little. Why couldn't he stay the fuck still?! Why couldn't he WAIT?! God, listen to me… rantin' about someone that's outta my control… Now I'm stuck with SHITTY DEKU!
That same little green shit encouraged that in Renaru! Now he's fuckin' reckless! God, the amount of times I saw his walker dented? My bro RAN, chucked that sonuvabitch at his bully and tackled the fucker.
Then he started to explode… he's got a hottie for a girl, so many goddamn friends… he's even got the cougar wrapped around his little finger! That dude never stops! Yet… why do I want him to stop?
He looked at me, "Hey Katsu! Good luck!" he called.
"Fuck off!" I snapped.
Now I'm going to fight one of the teachers… story of my fucking life… Deku flinched around me. Yeah, you better. I won't let a guy like Stain stop me! I won't let that happen again! I won't let my brother get hurt again… I won't let anyone else down…
I want to beat All Might. I want to beat him by myself. I want to prove that I'm stronger than Ren. I want to prove that I'm stronger.
A whole city block toppled next to us. There he was, the man who I used to idolize… the man I used to want to be. But I grew up too fast.
"HE'S MINE!" I yelled, blasting off.
"KACCHAN! NO, DON'T!" Deku yelled.
"SHUT THE HELL UP, DEKU! I'M GONNA DO THIS!" I screamed, "DADADADAADDAADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" I hailed All Might with blows, not letting up. I clapped my hands together, a blast charging through them. All I saw was Stain. All I saw was that monster. All I saw was my brother getting hurt.
I didn't hold back, so why should he? "STOP MOCKING ME, ASSHOLE!" I roared, ripping an explosion up All Might's back, I smirked.
"Oof! Quite the hit there, Young Katsuki!" he praised, all I heard was Stain. All I heard was him.
Become worthy of the title, 'Hero' Defeat him!
"GO DOWN ALREADY!" I screamed, being met by a heavy fist, I was blown back, I slowed down and my boots were smoking. I saw Deku blast by me.
"WHY'RE YOU RUNNING?!" I thundered, seeing Stain blast towards me, fists raised. I broke.
"WHERE THE HELL'S MY BROTHER?!" I roared, "WHERE IS HE?!"
I felt something grab my arm, "Kacchan! Kacchan, stop!" Deku yelled.
"Oho! SO… YOU'RE WITH HIM?! DIE, SHITTY DEKU! DIE WITH THE REST OF THEM! ALL THESE SHITTY HEROES!" I screamed, howling and slamming him to the pavement, throwing him at Stain.
I pounded my fist to my chest, "I'll be the hero! ME! ME, NO ONE ELSE!" I screamed, starting to REALLY heat up.
"Y'know what? My bro's not the only one who's got an ultimate blast!" I snarled, grabbing the pins on both my gauntlets.
"Get ready~" I growled.
Stain grabbed Shitty Deku and started to run. Yet… was he always that tall?
*KA-THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!* My blast ripped through the area, and I MISSED! I FUCKING MISSED?! I raged after them, but someone held me back AGAIN!
"Katsuki! Stop it!" I turned and drove my elbow into THAT BASTARD'S face! I heard a sickening crack and turned.
"R-Ren?" I asked, my little brother was lying on the ground, stopping the blood with his sleeve. So close and yet so far, Katsuki…
"Oh… oh… god…" I mumbled, kneeling, he shirked away from me, tears in his eyes.
"You… you scare me!" he yelled, I saw Momo running up, she seemed to want to pull him back.
"Ren… Renaru, I'm sorry!" I pleaded.
"S-shut up! What's wrong with you? Ever since Stain happened you haven't been yourself!" he yelled.
Look at what you did, Katsuki… you broke his nose… or at least made it bleed… don't you feel horrible?
Momo pulled Renaru into her arms, and I tried to reach out, but she pulled him away.
"Haven't you done enough damage already?" she snarled, "He was trying to stop you! Look what you did! You almost killed Midoriya! You almost hurt All Might! And now you hurt Renaru?!" she ranted.
See? Everyone is right about you! You were the one that hurt your brother… you were the one who sent him my way… You'd make a better villain than a hero, at least it'd fit…
"You sicken me! I don't see what Renaru sees that's so endearing to him! You insult EVERYONE, you mess with Midoriya endlessly, you… you… HAVE A STICK UP YOUR ASS constantly, and not only does Renaru love you more than his OWN LIFE, but he pushed himself to be right where you are because he didn't want you to be alone, KATSUKI BAKUGOU,"
Oho! Your brother's Girlfriend is GOOD! Wow, he picked a good one!

Renaru. I… I… I didn't mean it. Ponytail, you gotta tell him that I didn't mean it… I got strong for you, Ren! Just in case you couldn't be a hero in the way you wanted! I felt my eyes sting, and I started to cry.
It rained that night. I still couldn't believe Katsuki did that. I found him sitting motionless. Mom ripped into him when we got home. He failed the Practical Exam, Izuku was exempt. Momo was attached to me for the rest of the day with Sero and Denki being my impromptu bodyguards.
Now he was sitting on the stoop, growling, and grumbling. I sat down next to him, despite Momo telling me to stay away from him for now. I was holding something for him, a pregnant silence between us. I was holding my Endeavor.
"Huh?" he asked.
"Look, you need him more than me," I reasoned, leaning against him, or trying to anyway… he slid a little bit away, holding my Endeavor.
"I remember you were so excited to get him, heh, now look at you, surpassin' him and me…" Katsuki sighed.
"Listen, Katsuki, I… I don't want this to put a wedge between us," I sighed.
"Yeah, you're gonna be the hero this time… not me," he admitted.
"What?" I gasped.
"Yeah, you win! You got the girl, you got your friends, you got everything! Tah-Dah! You win! God, I… I didn't mean t-" I struck him, knocking him over.
"Shut up, Katsuki! Don't you fucking DARE give up! The Katsuki I know would flip the table and shoot the other player! Yeah, you hurt me, yeah, you hurt Izuku and All Might, so what?! You were having an episode! I've seen you fall down like this before… You always got back up! This is your shot to try again!" I snarled, grabbing his shirt collar.
"So get the hell back up before I make you!" I snarled. He smiled.
"Tch, fine! God, how can Ponytail deal with your needy ass?" he sighed. I smirked.
"That's a secret!" I said.
"Heh, I guess I can leave it at that…" he sighed.
Things were on the mend for him now, I guess...
