When Midoriya awoke to his alarm clock blaring he instantly felt sick, stomach twisting and turning. He tried to brush it off as he wasn't sick, he felt perfectly fine besides his stomach, and got up from his All Might covers, stood and turned to shut off his alarm clock as it was still beeping. He quickly walked over toward his dresser and pulled out some running gear.

As he walked out the front door quietly and stepped out as the cold, still air brushed against the exposed skin of his face. As he started his morning run around the park near the school, it wasn't too far, just down a couple of blocks. No one was ever there when Midoriya went for his runs and he loved it. It was always so peaceful and calm, it gave him a nice break before his hectic day started.

This day was no different as he made it to the entrance gate, fall orange leaves swirling and descending in the gentle wind to the grassy ground and cement sidewalk. A 'tip tap' echoed throughout the park and Midoriya's sneakers hit up against the sidewalk while he ran.

His usual calmness that came with his morning runs was strangely absent as he made it a quarter way around the loop. Instead it was replaced with an overwhelming feeling of nausea washing over him. He felt his gut twist and turn and it made him feel like he was about to just crumple to the ground as his knees wobbled.

The sick feeling growing in his gut more and more the longer he tried to ignore it.

As Midoriya made it all the way around the first loop the feeling became so unbearable he quickly sprinted towards the nearest trash can and threw up, it wasn't much since he had only had a smoothie before this but it eased the twisting in his stomach the littlest bit.

Midoriya decided to cut this run short and get back to the dorms, he could always just make it up tomorrow or in training that day. He stood up from leaning over the garbage can and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand but immediately recoiled. Ok, bad idea.

Ew.

Midoriya started his walk back with his hands on his stomach, holding it. When he got back to the front door of the U.A. dorms, he got out his key card, typed in the passcode and opened the door. He walked into the common room and started walking over to the kitchen, greeting Todoroki who was making some tea while doing so.

"Good morning Todoroki." Midoriya said while he started to wash off his hand and giving the other boy a small wobbly smile in greeting.

"Good morning Midoriya, is everything all right? You're not usually here at this time." Todoroki responded with a monotone voice while putting the tea bag into the plain matte black mug he always used.

"Oh yeah, I'm alright Todoroki, just not feeling well that's all. I threw up a little on my run so I decided just to come back here." Midoriya lied just a little, not wanting to worry any of his friends.

"Oh, are you sure your alright? Do you need to go see Recovery Girl?" Todoroki said as he looked over to Midoriya who was now looking through the cabinets on the other side of the kitchen, trying to find the right medicine.

"Yeah, yeah I will be fine, don't worry about me." Midoriya spoke quietly, picking up a bottle of pills and walking back over to the sink with a glass to fill with water. As he made it over to the sink the kettle Todoroki was using suddenly turned off as it was finished boiling. Todoroki looked back at it for a second before slowly reaching for it, fingers slightly twitching the closer he got.

Midoriya saw this and with a small smirk he put down his own cup and grabbed Todoroki's wrist with his left hand and gently pushed it away, grabbing the kettle himself. Todoroki swiftly stepped back as Midoriya poured the hot water. When the cup was filled he put the now empty kettle back on its stand and unplugged it before looking back at Todoroki with his normal large sunshine smile.

"You don't have to push yourself Todoroki, it's okay to ask for help sometimes."

"Yes I know, but I shouldn't need help making tea, Midoriya." Todoroki salad as he picked up the mug and sat down at the table a few steps away.

"Doesn't matter what it is,-" Midoriya paused mid-sentence to quickly down 3 more pills than was recommended on the small bottle as the sick feeling was coming back quickly. "-you can always ask me. I am your friend, I'm here for you no matter what, ok?"

"...ok." A comfortable silence reigned over the kitchen space as Midoriya started to make himself some scrambled eggs (All might said once a few years back that it was one of his favourite breakfast foods so now, whenever he can, Midoriya makes them too). "We're friends and I can tell you anything?" Todoroki said suddenly as he looked up at Midoriya.

"That's what I said, yes, of course Todoroki."

"Then I think it's only fair you tell me what bothering you right now." Midoriya froze slightly as the words came from his friends mouth and sighed. Todoroki patiently waited as Midoriya turned off the stove and plated his food and sat down across from him.

"It's nothing too important, my stomach is just bothering me. And I had this weird feeling this morning but it hasn't come back yet. So really, I'm fine Todoroki, there's no need to worry about me." Midoriya said with confidence and a hint of desperation, desperation not only for Todoroki to believe him but desperation to get himself to believe the words coming out of his mouth. He hoped Todoroki only heard the confidence.

The red and white haired male looked at him with suspicion but ultimately nodded and moved on. Midoriya hoped this 'sickness' would move on as well.

It did not.

Throughout all of his classes he kept quiet and only spoke when asked a question by which ever teacher's class he was in. It not only stayed but it continuously got worse and worse until even the sight of food at lunch made him want to vomit, so he decided it would be best to sit in his next classes room, groaning in pain until the bell rang.

Now he was in the U.A. version of a study hall that was held in the homeroom class. It was meant for students to finish any homework or plan out ways to improve their quirk. Everyone in the classroom was doing so except Midoriya, he had homework as well, he just couldn't bring himself to pick up the pencil.

That is when Midoriya told himself it was time to go see Recovery Girl, and he was going to as well. Midoriya planned to go as the bell rang since it was only 10 minutes away but, only 2 minutes into that, it disappeared. It didn't ease away or slowly fade, it was just suddenly gone, just when it became almost unbearable.

Poof.

Midoriya shot up instantly when he felt his stomach feel like a stomach and not like he drank a bucket of lava, but his thoughts were quickly interrupted by a sudden sound in the still classroom. And that sound just so happened to be Kirishima's voice.

"Hey...What's that?" Everyone turned their heads to the window Kirishima was looking out and saw the same thing. A weird same thing.

There was what looked to be a cloud of red and black dust that was swirling together in the sky. It looked to be forming into a circle, with most of the red dust on the outside so the middle of it was pitch black.

"Is it another villain?!" A squeaky voice came from below Midoriya and he looked down to see Mineta biting his nails while watching the window. That's when Aizawa-Sensei pushed through the little group of people crowding around the window; still watching the strange thing in the sky.

"I'm not sure-" He said as he slightly squinted his eyes, suddenly whatever it was stopped moving and what looked to be a person (they couldn't really see it clearly from where they were) fall out of the middle of it, as soon as they did it dissipated into individual glitter like pieces and faded into the sky. Before the figure even hit the ground Aizawa-Sensei was already moving, "Everyone stay here, I'm going to see what that was." And dashed out the classroom door.

All the students looked at each other, frozen. Midoriya made eye contact with Todoroki and Kachhan and a wave of understanding shot through them all.

Midoriya was the first on out the door, chasing after his teacher, stomach pains long forgotten.
