Special Person

I'm so very sorry with the long wait, but here's chapter 16. I hope you enjoy it.

Recap

"No", is all Gin was able to say before Hikaru allows herself to lunge at him, all other senses gone. Her babies safety on her mind. Shocked, unable to move from her frontal attack, Aizen allows her to knock him down, the baby swiftly moved to block the path of her jaw.

"Hikaru, stop"! Gin yells, hoping, praying that she avoids attacking her own child. Aizen watches, shocked, as Hikaru's mouth goes around the baby, instead of it clamping down, her tongue comes out, wrapping around her baby. She pulls it away from him, tossing her to the bed, she bounces gently on it before stilling with a giggle. Malakai instantly at the bed, Gin not far. Hikaru watches, startled as Gin is knocked to the ground, Koga hovering over him. Gin's eyes look into the opened mouth of the wolf above him, saliva slowly falling from his mouth as he growls down at him.

"Help me"! Aizen calls, he plunges a syringe into Hikaru's throat, making her move off of him, she tosses her head around in the air, roaring her anger, before falling to the ground, turning back into a human. As quickly as they had come, the man who had their son, Aizen and Koga are gone, Hikaru in Aizen's arms.

Gin stands in place, his eyes opened, only thing he can feel is pure, utter shock. Both of his babies are crying in the room, he can't even bring himself to reality to go comfort them. The only site he sees is watching as Aizen takes off with his mate. Due to the fear of the man hurting his baby boy, he wasn't able to move in on Aizen in an attempt to protect the only person he's ever really cared for, the only thing that was special to him.

"HIKARU"! Krystal yells as she makes it through the doors, only to stop, looking around. The two babies are still here, but she notices quickly what is wrong, Hikaru isn't here any longer.

"What h-happened"? She asks, her voice breaking. She looks around the room, hoping that it'll change what she sees, "Where is Hikaru"?

"I couldn't do a damn thin'", Gin's voice sounds as though it's breaking. He balls his shaking hands into fists as he closes his eyes, trying his best to hold back the tears threatening to come.

"Gin"? Krystal asks as she slowly approaches him. She can't believe the change in the man. She remembers when nothing mattered to him, now, now everything mattered, and now that the biggest thing is gone, he's falling apart at the seams. She moves to stand in front of him, her hands fall on her mouth as she holds in a startled gasp, the man before her is actually crying.

She tears her gaze off the man as he turns away from her, her eyes searching the room, she watches as Malakai picks up the baby girl, his face sad.

"Malakai"? She asks, slowly making her way over to him. On closer inspection of the wolf's face, she backs up, his face is scrunched up out of pure anger, hate and anger.

She looks over at the door, giving an unsure smile to her mate, she shrugs her shoulders and looks down.

"This isn't good", is all he could say before turning his attention to Gin.

"What is going to happen"? He begins, taking a small step closer to him.

"With her separated from her babies, that must not be a good thing".

With a sigh, Gin doesn't move, nor does he compose himself before saying, "She will become a monster".

Vincent frowns at his new found friend in an old enemy, he can see the man has broke, given up.

"Are you telling us that she will be worse, much worse than when she first started her change"? Krystal asks, her eyes narrowing. Opening his eyes, Gin looks at her, tears still flowing down.

"Yes", he simply answers.

"We have to report this to Rufus", Vincent adds in, not wanting to change the subject, but right now they can't afford to give up. Vincent turns, begins his track back down the stairs.

"Gin", Malakai barks, "We can't stand here, moping about, or being angry". Gin looks at him, his face not at all interested in the words he has to say.

"You have to look after these pups while the mother is away". He places the baby girl on the bed, morphing into his wolf form.

"As much as I don' want ta admit it, yer right", Gin sighs, he shakes his head, his gaze turns to his young. He knows that she would kill him if he didn't look after the babies, she allowed to grow inside her. The babies that changed her.

"I wish I could of helped her", Krystal groans. Gin walks over to his children, picking up his son, looking down at him, those big bright eyes staring lovingly up at him.

"I mean I was useless"! She snaps, she takes a quick look around, her gaze lingering on Malakai. She's sure the man wanted so badly to help, but with Hikaru blocking his path, he couldn't. She looks down, not far from Malakai's wolf form who has his head held low, sits Cravon. The poor dragonling is pouting at the ground, he was no help at all, you can tell he is beating himself over for it. With a sigh, Krystal shakes her head and walks out of the room. Slowly making her way to the stairs. She slowly descends them as everything seems to play over and over again in her head. She pauses at the living room door, Able and Vincent are sitting in the room.

"It scares me to see Gin crying", She enters the room, both pairs of eyes turn to her, "I mean, he's not the crying type".

"Yeah, it's a wonder that he hadn't gone on a rampage threw us", Vincent adds.

"Honestly, it's not unusual", Able sighs, leaning back, "His babies are precious to him, so of course he couldn't even if he wanted to". Vincent and Krystal look at him, shocked about how much he knows. With a shrug of his shoulders, he smiles some, "What"?

"I've been doing my research".

"So he didn't turn because of the risk of hurting his newly born children"? Vincent asks, catching on. Able nods his head as an answer, before watching Krystal walk over to the couch that Vincent is using.

"Exactly", he answers. Krystal sits down beside her mate, resting her head on his shoulder, gazing at their baby.

"I feel bad for them both", Krystal closes her eyes, she did something she thought she'd never do, care about someone other than her vampire pack and mate, she genuinely cares about the human turned demon creature.

"Yeah, I know what you mean", Vincent says, all eyes look at the ground, the only sound is the sound of Krystal's baby. Vincent places his arm around her, bringing her closer to him.

Aizen's Pov

Aizen and the man who helped him at the safe house is carrying a naked Hikaru in his arms, skillfully moving through the poorly lit tunnels. The man stops, looking down at the unconscious woman.

"What a waist, giving this perfect form to that beast", he narrows his eyes at the mere though, brushing a piece of her hair out of her face. With a sigh, he shakes his head, then enters the poorly lit cell room. He walks her over to the large opened cell.

"What the hell did you do to her"!? Jin asks, standing at the bars, following the man with his eyes as he enters the cell adjacent to his own.

"She's just drugged", the man says as he places her in the middle of the cell, he turns to Jin, "I'd be careful, once she wakes, she's not going to be pleased". Jin looks down at her, noticing one huge thing.

"Hey, you could give her some clothes, inconsiderate kidnappers"! He snarls at them.

"It's much more pleasurable to watch a woman in nothing.. Don't you think", the man says, laughing as he walks over to Aizen. With a sigh, Jin looks over at her, shaking his head. He didn't even bother to watch the two as they walk out.

"What a basted", he growls. With a groan, he forces himself to look away from her. He's another one of the many men that has those same attractions toward her. It's even harder that now she's his type, her smell, it's just overwhelming. He knows that females that give birth seem to go into heat for nearly 24hours after giving birth. Sliding down the bars, his back to the sleeping woman, he asked his mother once about it, but she never answered him. He closes his eyes, then hides his head in his arms.

Half an hour later, Jin jumps up, turning to Hikaru, she curls into a ball and screams out of pure agony. He grabs the bars, "Hikaru"! He calls out to her.

She doesn't respond, she doesn't even hear him as she turns painfully against her will into her new form.

"Oh, isn't she just magnificent"? Aizen asks, he comes out of the shadows, watching Hikaru as she looks around her surroundings confused. Her gaze lands on him, teeth bared, her hair standing on end as she glares at the man, her eyes showing her intent to kill.

"Why did you have to take her. She means nothing to you"? Jin asks, he doesn't like the sight of her, and he does have a fear of the beautiful creature he's living beside.

"When she was human, she hadn't meant a thing to me. But now", Aizen raises his arms, emphasizing how much he admires her, "The weapon we can have her as, it's endless". He then turns, his arms to his side, as he starts for the door, "Her power is endless", he laughs leaving the room.

"If you mess up, she'll be tearing you apart", Jin points out, the only response he get's is laughter.

With a groan, he turns his attention toward Hikaru, his eyes widen, "Don't do tha..", he couldn't stop her from running into the bars. A nice jolt goes through her massive body with a painful wail, she get's tossed back a few feet.

Once she catches her bearings, her sight looks at him, her eyes narrow, her teeth bared, she lets out a nasty snarled hiss, she rushes him. He didn't have enough time to get a few feet away from the bars when she collides with them, her eyes murderous.

"Jez, your swift", he jokingly retorts, all he receives is a nasty growl.

"Hikaru", he raises his hands, "Don't you recognize me"? Her growl, the narrow of her piercing eyes shows him that she doesn't recognize him. With one final warning growl, she turns her back to him, walking to the other end of the cell, looking at the wall, she groans then lays down, covering her head under her wings.

"This isn't good", Jin lets out a heavy sigh as he looks down the tunnel, trying to think of something he can do. With a groan, he walks to the back of his cell, allowing himself to slide down the wall. He looks at Hikaru, settling for studying her. He's aware that if she really wanted to attack him, she could.

Hikaru's POV

As I look around the place, all I can see is darkness. No light, no sound, just darkness. I move my legs, but it feels as though I'm going no where. Just for a moment had I seen a spec of light in the distance, I continue to walk in the direction I seen it. My heart racing, pounding in my ears. This solitary feeling is overwhelming, the only thing I can do is just keep moving in a place that seems to go nowhere.

Jin's POV

Jin kept watching her, no matter what happened, and all she really did was just lay unmoving, except for her breathing. Only a few times had he caught her getting up to eat the food that is placed in her cell. All she has done is stay in one spot, days pass, this is all she does. She hasn't even turned human, it does worry him about that fact. If she hadn't of been human at first, he wouldn't of been concerned.

He's concerned for her mental well being, she may be moving about, eating and the sort, but it's not normal. She just had her children, forced away from them and locked up in a cage. It's not looking good for him, nor the people keeping her here, she's a bomb, a bomb that can go off at any time.

Flash Back

"Jin, stop that right now"! A woman's voice snaps at the young man, he turns his head to look at the woman standing before him. With a narrow of his eyes, he goes back to digging into the hole that the rabbit managed to get itself into.

"Don't make me do this", she groans. She doesn't get a response from the frustrated young creature. With a shake of her head, she forms into a pink scaled dragon creature, two arms much like the t-rex, two massive back legs and a long tail to balance her long body.

'You give me no choice youngling", she growls, letting out a roar before opening her massive wings and making her way toward him. With a growl of his own, he opens his wings, turning, he's always hated the thought of being led by a woman, he won't back down.

"He is so going to lose", an adolescent man smirks, standing with a younger man, watching as Jin challenges their alpha.

"He never learns", a girl comes standing beside the two of them.

Managing to push her off, he raises his head as high as he can, attempting to make himself look bigger and stronger, his wings held open. If he can defeat her, make her bow to him, he will become the youngest leader of the pack.

'Stand down, you know how badly this will end", she orders him. Despite him trying to look big, his attempt still pales in comparison to her adult form. She's just slightly smaller than the youngling, it doesn't phase her at all.

'I will not bow down to a woman'! He snaps, then charges her, body checking her, which doesn't force her down, she growls, grabbing his arm with her talon and knocks him over without any difficulties and opens her wings once more, showing her dominance toward him as she lets out a mighty roar in his face. With a defeated look, he looks to the ground in favour of not seeing the faces of all those who are laughing. He allows himself to form into his human look, rolls out from under her, getting to his feet and rushing off, tears flowing down his face.

The only thing going through his head is wishing his brother had come with him, it would of been so much easier to deal with if he had. He doesn't stop till his breath is gone, his lunges burn, he leans against a tree, breathing heavily and deeply.

'Jin look out'! A male voice yells, Jin looks over, his eyes widen as he is in the way of a complete stranger, that is coming his way. It comes at him as though it's in a rampage.

He jumps to the side and rolls out of the way, watching as one of the elders rushes past him, others stop beside him, his golden eyes looking at the young man.

"What was that"? Jin asks the older dragon.

'A human that turned, due to being pregnant', the elder answers, he forms into his human look, long white hair, golden eyes. He holds out a hand, offering to help Jin to his feet, he doesn't hesitate taking it.

"I didn't think humans could be turned", Jin turns his attention in the direction that creature had gone, he's confused and shocked at the news.

"Yes, it's rare, and even more so for a pregnancy to go full term", the elder sighs. Jin starts walking as the elder does, he's curious as to what is going to happen next. The two stop, he looks in pure utter awe as the female seems to be giving the well known elder a run for his money.

"As you can see, they are much harder to control.. Since something went wrong, she lost full control over herself, she had killed the baby", he stats, sadly.

"What"? Jin asks.

"Whenever a human get's pregnant from one of our kind, she is forced to drink the father's blood, in doing so it starts the process of transformation. In this stage, things can go very, very wrong. The human may not be able to control the animal instinct, since human's aren't capable of using their sense of survival because of them using their brains too much", the elder pauses.

"You're saying that the sense overpowers them, simply because they never listen to it"? Jin asks, flinches when seeing the elder finally knock her to the ground.

"Yes, but the down side about this is, when they do fully transform, while pregnant the baby that they carry dies, it's as though it disappears. Due to this, they lose all sense of who they are because of the deep connection they had with their child", he pauses once more, looking on, Jin watches too.

"Because of that, we are forced to..", he didn't have to finish it, the elder finally manages to kill the creature. Jin watches as the creature turns into the lifeless form of what she once was, human.

"What happens if it's successful"? Jin asks, he turns his attention toward the human looking elder.

"Well, if she were able to give birth to the child, then it's best for just the father to be around her, or she'll lose all sense once more out of fear of her child's safety", the elder answers.

"Couldn't you just control them, the same way the leader controls, well.. Me"? He asks, and looks down, feeling ashamed of his explanation.

"Might, but I can't say for sure, there hasn't been a successful birthing for us to determine anything from", the elder admits.

"Would you happen to know what would happen if she separated from her child"? Jin asks.

"What you seen before you, I can imagine", the elder answers, sighs and turns around, beginning to walk. Jin on the other hand, he can't seem to get his eyes off the woman, once both elders left, he walks over to the body, looking over her, keeping all he had learnt in mind. Never knowing when he'll come in contact with another one.

"What a waist, I'd never let anyone kill one of these special humans like this, if I were leader", he says, looking at his hands.

"But then, is locking them up any better"?

End Flash Back

Looking over at Hikaru, his eyes widen. He can't help but see that human corpse on the ground in place of her. He can't help but think that she's pretending to be the way she is, instead of being like a rabid animal. This isn't what he wanted to see, wanted to happen to his brother's girl. With a groan, he runs his hand through his hair, his gaze now looking at the bars. As he trails his gaze upward, he comes to notice that it almost looks as though they go into the ceiling.

"I see you are figuring it out", a green haired and eyed boy asks, he steps out of the darkness. Jin's gaze moves toward him, his brows narrow.

"Yeah.. Like you'd tell me", he growls.

"Oh no, Aizen said if you wanted to know, then I was told to tell you. The way Aizen sees it, you won't have to worry about it in the end", the man answers, standing with his arms crossed, looking through the bars at him.

"What are you talking about"? Jin asks. The man smiles at him, moving to walk to the section where the two cells connect.

"What would happen if we put you with her", he trails his fingers on the thick bar, "I mean, she only looks tame right now, I believe it's because she's locked up". He turns his attention toward Jin from the still appearing sleeping form of Hikaru.

"You know what happens to animals when they've been locked up. Right"? The man asks.

"Yes", Jin answers, slowly getting to his feet, getting an idea as to where this is going.

"Well, if we put another animal in that very animal's cage, one get's torn to pieces", the man laughs as Jin looks over at Hikaru. His face pals, he understands full well what they are planning on doing.

When it comes down to fights, Jin is truly a push over, he's only able to win battles because of how tough he looks, not because of the strength he holds. With a long sigh, he's aware that she'd no doubt kill him.

"This was Aizen's plan all along"? Jin asks, turning his attention toward the stranger.

"Yes, to claim her, he promises Koga that he can have her, but really he only says that to control the stupid wolf", the man smirks, he gives a chuckle before beginning to make his way down the dark tunnel. He looks sadly at Hikaru, what he's hearing is they are wanting to use her unpredictable behaviour as their weapon, he hates being in a cage, but he's sure she's going through a worse experience by being locked up, and away from her children.

Hikaru's Pov

I've gotten glimpses of what's going on outside. I've come to the conclusion that I am caged inside my own mind, and to my utter confusion, it's all black in here, with only glimpses of what I see in my physical form.

I'm caged in a cell, in the dark and damp, with Gin's brother caged beside mine. I'm dreading everything that is going on, after the conversation that the stranger had with Jin, I'm now sure as to what they are planning to do, they are planning to test me, I'm terrified for Jin.

I allow myself to fall to my knees, becoming overwhelmed with everything that's going on, unable to control my own actions. Being away from Gin, and worse still the children I had birthed. The dread that washes over me as words I remember being spoke to me keeps running through my mind, everything I'm experiencing isn't good for a newly formed human to demonic vampire.

Suddenly, within my own physical form, I get to my feet, the sensation feels so weird standing on two large legs, having massive wings on my back and small arms. My gaze moves right over to Jin, I'm sure my face looks confused and concerned. Jin notices the look and I watch him walk to the bars, he stands close to them, not bothering to touch them.

"Hikaru"? He asks. That voice invading my ears, how it makes my heart sore, I move over to the bars, stopping and looking down at him, avoiding contact with the bars.

'Please, don't allow me to kill you', the words rolling off my tongue and out of my snout, talking in this form is so strange.

"You have control"? He asks, clearly he's shocked.

'For now. How long, I'm unsure', I answer.

"Well, that's better than what others in your situation has gotten", Jin responds, he smiles warmly at me.

'Please, I'm begging you, tell me everything you can about what I am. What you are. I really need to know how to control myself', he takes a step back as I step forward, my torso rising so as not to touch the dangerous bars, 'I don't wish to become Aizen's weapon'. With a sigh, he looks around, then back into my confused eyes, "I'll do my best".

He tells me what he had found out when he was a youngling. As well as attempting to give me some advice on how to control myself.

Kyrstal's Pov

Within the few days the crew has come back together, they have relocated to Rufus's safe house. The babies are safer than they once were. Gin is desperate to find Hikaru, he doesn't want her to do something she'll regret. Krystal has realized how worried she is of her new found friend, the worry over powers her concern for her own child. The thing that she can't quite grasp is how lost Gin seems to be.

Walking through the halls, she stops and looks into one of the many empty rooms, and sees a glimpse of Hikaru's smiling face.

"Could she have really made such an impact..", she ponders to herself, she remembers that she had disliked the girl at first, it had nothing to do with who she was, but because of Gin. She couldn't believe a human could tame the uncontrollable beast.

"Krystal"? Rufus startles her out of her thoughts.

"Rufus, I'm worried about Hikaru", she faces him, he smiles at her and nods his head.

"As are we all", he answers her, then looks into the room she had been staring into.

"I see you are remembering a time when she was in a room much like this one"? He asks. Krystal nods her head, then turns her attention toward the ground.

"I wish I wasn't so hard on her, wished that I trusted how she felt toward Gin.. Even more, I wish I had done something when she got taken away from our care", she can't stop the words from erupting from her mouth, "Do you happen to know what Aizen has planned for her"?

Rufus sighs, running his hand through his hair before looking to the ceiling. The man is lost, he has hidden feelings for the very human that they are talking about, "I'm afraid not".

"I'm sure whatever he has planned, isn't anything good", he points out. He then looks at her, he's proud of the woman she's become. Being matted to a very trusted friend, and has a baby with him.

"Despite what is going on, I'm really happy for you", he says, placing his hand on the side of her face, giving her a loving smile. She looks into his eyes, she seemed to forget about the other issues, she's happy that her father has no issues with the outcome of her relationship with the man she's been in love with.

"Rufus, we've gotten word from Malakai", a male voice echoes down the hall, the sound of shoes hitting the tiled floor, makes them both look in the direction the sound is coming from.

"Really"? Krystal steps forward, "What has he found"? She steps in front of Rufus, hoping to hear good news, expecting it even.

"Nothing much I'm afraid, but something about Malakai scares me", the man bows some as he steps to the side as Rufus comes forward.

"It's because he's concerned about 'er, he is a wolf that is in love with Hikaru, more than even I am", Gin steps out of the shadows, "I'm ashamed ta say".

"What are you saying"? Krystal asks as she turns to face him.

"Yes, I'm in love with her, but it's her loyalty ta me fer why she refuses ta go ta someone else", Gin points out.

"Yeah, that's right, more than one person is in love with her", Rufus brings himself into the conversation. Gin gives him a knowing look, but nods his head.

"Why let him hang around knowing that"? Krystal asks, she's confused by his acceptance of his competition being around. Gin gives her a long hard look, before looking from one face to the other.

"I have my... Reasons", he answers, then brushes past them, Krystal watches as the man walks down the hall, his shoulders slumped.

"He is hiding something", Krystal couldn't help but voice her thoughts.

"No", Rufus turns to look at her, "I'm sure it's because he knows something big is going to happen". Everyone then stares in the direction that Gin had gone. They stand in an awkward silence.

"But, at any means, we can't worry about what is going on in Gin's mind", Rufus clears his throat, "We have to figure out a way to get Hikaru back, before Aizen gets to use her for his plans". Krystal and the messenger both nod their heads. Each one then turning in separate directions.

Every person in the place has their own reasons to want to help get Hikaru back, the main one being simply because of the man she is with. The truth of the fact is, Gin is a special person, only the people in Rufus's house knows just how special he truly is.

Gin's Pov

Gin stops at the end of the hall, looking out the window. He sighs, he's trying with all his might to figure something out, but unable to come up with any plan. He's aware of what Aizen's plans are going to be, it bothers him that the man had the nerve to interfere at the worst time ever.

With a groan, he looks down to his feet, remembering the moments before he became the beast, when he had met her, in their chanced meeting at the bar. Then all the things that happened up till now, he never wished for this outcome for her, not at all. He fists his hands and closes his eyes, he's trying with all his might to hold his own rage back.

"Gin", Kira approaches him. Gin turns and gives him a fake smile.

"I've heard, I'm so sorry", Kira tries to be comforting.

"No need ta be sorry", Gin replies, shaking his head at the man. Kira also shakes his head, looking at the ground, unsure of what to do or say.

"I'm aware of what happened, I hated you for just leaving me there", Kira starts. Gin opens his eyes, looking at the man.

"Then I seen the way you were with her, I just want to help you, I want to help her", Kira pauses.

"Kira, don't", Gin holds out his hand, only for it to be too late, Kira goes onto his hands and knees, bowing his head.

"Please, let me serve you, since I wasn't able to help you out then", Kira offers his full attention toward him.

And that's the end of Chapter 16, sorry for the cliffhanger. So what is the secret that Gin has, why did Kira do what he did? Will Hikaru be able to control her inner most beastly mind? You'll have to stay tuned for the next chapter.
