LAST CHAPTER! Oh dang, this has been a trip. Hope you enjoyed, please leave a review!
Six Years Later
"Jason! Get your ass down here! We're going to be late for the doctor's appointment!" I call as I stand in the doorway of our two-bedroom apartment in Columbus.
"Coming, Ronnie!" My husband comes down the steps, taking them two at a time. He kisses me quickly before going to pull his shoes on. I press my hand against my swollen abdomen.
"This is the last one before the baby comes and I don't want to be late!" I say as he opens the door.
"I know, I'm sorry."
"What were you doing?"
"Finishing my paper."
"Jason! That's due to your class tonight! If you fail that, you don't graduate."
"Yeah, yeah. 'If I don't do my homework I won't make it into the police academy'. I've heard it a thousand times, Ronnie."
"Well then act on it." I kiss his cheek as we step out of the elevator and walk towards our car. "I did my homework and here I am with a degree and a law internship."
"Whatever. You're so much smarter anyways." He starts the car and we drive off.
"I love you, Jason."
"Well, what can I say? Our love is god." We kiss.
