Monday Night RAW: 13/11/2006

Monday Night RAW was live in Manchester, England. Last week on RAW, Eric Bischoff was the General Manger for one night only and it was hell for those who weren't 'loyal' to Bischoff.

Bischoff was going to reward Johnny Nitro an Intercontinental Championship match against the Bladewolf but Jackal ended up attacking Nitro and left him destroyed backstage. This made Bischoff mad as Jackal wanted his rematch against Bladewolf right now. Bischoff denied him and FIRED Jackal from RAW. Jackal just smirked and said he didn't mind, he was going to ECW anyway.

So Jackal was gone to ECW, Bloodwolf was still out injured, and Bladewolf is still on RAW, seems the Wolfpack has definitely split. Even Maria got punished by being put in a match against Umaga. Because Bladewolf wasn't there because he was given the night off before RAW began, Marian was helpless until the WWE Champion, John Cena, ran out to save her.

Now RAW was live this week in Manchester. Currently John Cena was taking on the undefeated Umaga. While Cena looked strong and easily gave the Samoan Bulldozer the toughest challenge of his WWE career, ECW World Champion Big Show – who will team Umaga to take on The Champ's team at Survivor Series – interfered on Umaga's behalf and the bout was called a No Contest. The Samoan Bulldozer and the Extreme Giant manhandled the WWE Champion like nobody has done before, with a deadly Samoan Spike from Umaga and a thunderous chokeslam by Big Show capping off the beating. However, before they could do worse...

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The fans popped at the sound of the wolf howl as the lights went out and when they came back on...THE BLADEWOLF WAS IN THE RING! Bladewolf had a steel chair in hand and began attacking both Big Show and Umaga, using more aggressive strikes on Umaga more than Big Show. Eventually he got them out of the ring and taunted them to bring it. The former World Heavyweight Champion was glaring daggers at Umaga though, it seems he had seen what happened to Maria last week.

Bladewolf drops the chair as his theme plays and the two Heel superstars retreat. Bladewolf turns to Cena and walks towards him. The Intercontinental Champion stared at the WWE Champion before extending his arm to help Cena up. Once he did, they both shook hands. This was Bladewolf's way of thanking Cena for saving Maria last week.

Bladewolf grabbed a microphone. "You owe me one, Cena. And maybe that one...is that." He points at the WWE Championship. "You don't back down from any challenge, how about the Bladewolf vs John Cena for the WWE Championship?" The fans cheered in agreement.

Cena got a microphone. "Name the time and place."

"Not just now, I got stuff to do. But when I decide a date, I'll let you know." Bladewolf said and Cena nodded before the two superstars left the ring. RAW then went to commercial break.

"The following contest is a No Disqualification, Triple Threat match scheduled for One-fall and it is for the intercontinental Championship!" Lillian Garcia announced as Johnny Nitro's theme plays and out comes the former Intercontinental Champion with Melina. "Introducing the challengers, first, being accompanied by Melina... JOHNNY NITRO!"

Nitro enters the ring while Melina stays outside. Jeff Hardy's theme then hits to a pop and out comes the other former Intercontinental Champion. "And from Cameron, North Carolina...JEFF HARDY!" Hardy enters the ring and stares Nitro down.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Vengeful One hits and out comes the Intercontinental Champion by himself. He has the title around his waist. "And from Death Valley, weighing 275 lbs, he is the Intercontinental Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Bladewolf walks down the ramp and enters the ring, taking off his coat and hands the referee the Intercontinental Championship.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The matchup is officially underway and the three where about to get it on...WHEN BLADEWOLF WAS PULLED OUT OF THE RING AND ATTACKED BY UMAGA AND BIG SHOW! Hardy and Nitro fight in the ring while Bladewolf tries fighting off Big Show and Umaga but he can't stand against the combined strength of the two as they toss him into the barricade.

Back in the ring, Nitro started off with a kick to the gut and a hard uppercut to the face of Hardy. Nitro kicked Hardy off his feet before whipping him into the ropes and getting caught with a neck breaker. Hardy hit a leg drop to the groin before following up with a hurricanranna out of the corner.

Outside, Big Show and Umaga had gotten Bladewolf to the top of the stage... BEFORE BIG SHOW TOSSES HIM OFF THE STAGE AND THROUGH SOME TABLES!

Baxk to the match, Hardy chased Nitro out of the ring, diving off the apron and into the champion on the outside. Melina jaw-jacked with Hardy as we went to commercial.

*After commercial*

Nitro had a modified rear chin lock cinched in on Hardy before Jeff fought back with some blows to the gut and eventually the face. Nitro reversed an Irish whip and avoided a Hardy whisper-in-the-wind attempt. Nitro got a two count on the cover attempt and went back to work on Hardy's lower back with some knees in the corner. Nitro hit a snap shot dropkick which sent Hardy wrapping around the ring post.

Nitro again went for a cover, but got nothing. He picked up Hardy and hit a very unique back breaker off his shoulder. Another cover attempt and yet another two count later, Nitro played safe and used a modified abdominal stretch to wear the challenger down.

Hardy fought back and managed to reverse the hold. Nitro returned the favor but caught a double mule kick to the face for his efforts. The referee began to count the two wrestlers out on the ground. Both regained their bearings and Hardy began to muster some offence, hitting a back elbow and a wheel kick off the ropes.

Nitro scooted out to the ring apron but Hardy caught him and tossed him back in the ring. He springboarded off the top rope and got a unique roll up that got a two count. Hardy connected next with a whisper in the wind which got him an even closer two count.

Nitro split to the outside and as Melina tended to him, Hardy came off the top rope and planted Nitro into the mat. Hardy quickly pressed his advantage, looking to hit his red cross off the guardrail, but Nitro avoided it.

Both challengers ended up on the top rope. Nitro attempted a flip power bomb, but Hardy threw him off. The challenger immediately took advantage hitting the Swanton bomb on Nitro and gaining the pinfall for the victory and the Intercontinental Championship.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Hardy's theme plays as medics check on Bladewolf. "Here is your winner and the NEW! Intercontinental Champion... JEFF HARDY!" Bladewolf heard the announcement and couldn't believe it. Another title reign that was short. He slowly got to his feet before stumbling away, refusing medical attention.

Well, that's this chapter done. Remember to vote on the poll.
