"You're the replacement Aizawa was talking about?"

After spontaneously tackling Okami, Ms. Ragdoll, or Ms. Tomoko. She insisted on being called one or the other, had quickly gotten the class into the flow of things.

"Yep! As I'm sure you all know, I am an ex-member of the Wild Wild Pussycats!"

"Never heard of them," Aika called out.

"What if she's a low ranking hero and UA gave us the hand me downs again?" Ashira questioned.

Despite the harsh reaction, the new teacher didn't even bat an eye, "Such a lively class! I've always wanted to teach the next generation!"

"Ragdoll," Shinso started, "Like the hero that lost her Quirk a couple weeks ago just before All Might's last fight?"

"Yep! That's me!"

Several of the class squinted at her response. Anyone who acted like that after losing their Quirk was certainly off their rocker.

"Hmm? It seems like there's one empty seat today." Ragdoll looked around, "Is someone sick?"

"You could say that," Hirose muttered.

Okami filled the silence, "Reiji Endo. He's… no longer in this class."

"Gotcha!" The cat themed hero made a few rapid marks on her roll sheet. While she was distracted with the paper, the class took a few moments to steal glances at their friends as if they were confirming that this was indeed happening.

"First order of business! The Provisional License Exam is coming up in the next few days, so we can't waste any time training you new kittens!"

"Kittens?"

"First things first! You're all gonna need your super cool code names!" It was the first sentence out of Ragdoll's mouth that made the class match her enthusiasm.

"Finally!" Daidoji shouted, "We've been waiting for this for months now!"

With scary accuracy, Ragdoll tossed nineteen small whiteboards at her new students, some of which were not ready for the delivery. Kenichi took one to the face and Kaito reflexively smacked his out of the way, sending it flying back to intercept Daidoji's board midair.

"You little kittens have fifteen minutes to come up with something!"

Some wrote down their names without a need to even think about it, while others scratched their heads, frustrated by the short time limit. Despite the intense focus of the room, there was also quite a bit of chatter as many desperately brainstormed.

"Remember! This is a name that could possibly stick and be stuck with you for the rest of your life, so choose carefully."

"Yeah, cause saying that makes it less of a burden," Kenichi sarcastically muttered.

Faster than anyone thought possible, the fifteen minutes passed and Ragdoll called for volunteers. Kaito, Daidoji, and Kenichi all raised their hands at the same time.

Deciding it would be easier to go by seating number, Ragdoll asked Kenichi to come to the front of the class.

The white-haired boy grabbed his whiteboard and went up to the podium, proudly flashing his name to the class. "My hero name is Bonehead!"

"Pfft!" Several snickered at the silly, yet totally apt name.

"I love it!" Ragdoll cried out as she shoved Kenichi back away towards his seat.

Next was Kaito, "Darksteel." Was all he said, not bothering with the dramatic announcement.

Ragdoll shook her head, "Normally it would be a good name, but it is considered bad practice to use your Quirk as a name. However, if you want to, it's your choice.

Kaito nodded, "Then I'll go with Daisho." Daisho was the act of carrying two swords, one shorter and one longer, it was the same name as the style he used when summoning both of his swords.

"Much better," Ragdoll approved.

Daidoji was standing before Kaito could even finish sitting down. Like Kenichi before her she proudly announced her name to the class, "Sparkrachne."

Ragdoll tried the name out for herself, letting the syllables roll over her tongue like a wave before saying, "Interesting! I like it!"

Next was Yosei, who chose the name Faery. It was similar to her Quirk, but also just different enough to get past Ragdoll.

Hirose was Adrenaline, Valvatorez Phantasmal was Ryouji's, Nikiya chose Nyx, Okami decided on Wolfman, Wilhelm used his German roots and came up with Blitzschlag meaning Lightning Strike.

After Wilhelm, Shizuku finally volunteered and displayed her name.

"Nemesis?" Ragdoll asked, "Isn't that a name for a villain?"

Shizuku shrugged, "It goes both ways I guess. I've got my own nemesis in my head, might as well embrace that."

Ragdoll cocked her head, "I heard Karkinos was totally under control during the island attack."

"I had somewhere to aim all my emotions. In a normal situation, it's much harder." Shizuku nodded at Daidoji, "I nearly killed her during our Quirk assessment."

Shinbou sighed, "That was a weird day."

Ryouji snapped his fingers, "Oh I get it! You're gonna be like Batman! Make the villains fear what you do!"

"Uh… sure."

Ragdoll nodded, "Alright then!"

After that, the rest of the names went by quickly. Nayuki decided on a mix of sentient and armor, making his name, ArTient. Shinbou's was Verity. Will went with a very fitting name as Biohazard. Shinso, with the help of the class chose Discord. Emica thought up Blackout. Tannin's board read Surge. Ashira thought that any name she chose would be lame, so she chose Poltergeist, which she thought was already lame. Aika stuck with her chess theme and named herself Regina, meaning Queen in italian. Finally, it was Vincent's turn. It was too awkward for him to say anything, so he just held up his board. It read, 'Sentry.'

"Yeah, like I'd trust him to watch our backs ever," Will said, disgusted.

"It's a great name!" Ragdoll chimed in, completely ignoring the comments. Suddenly her eyes took on a more serious appearance, "You better live up to it."

Vincent nodded and the new teacher returned to her normal peppy self. "Well, now that you all have your hero names, it's time to train your Super Moves! Class A gets done with their gym time in about ten minutes, so go get ready and meet me in the gym!"

This perked the class right up. Getting to use their brand new upgraded costumes was like telling a kid they could go ride their new bike on christmas morning. As such the room was empty within seconds.

Ragdoll smiled to herself, "I guess you were right Mandalay, this is pretty cool."

MHA: 1-C

By the time class C got to the gym, Ragdoll was already busy talking with All Might and Aizawa.

"Got it. Class A! Your time's up!"

"DAMN EXTRAS!"

"Chill out dude! You're gonna hit one of AHHHHH!"

"Don't tell me what to do short circuit!"

Daidoji's helmet folded off of her head down into her suit as she sighed, "Of course we have to see this guy every time we see class A."

Shizuku and Aika's helmets acted the same way and clanked away. All of their armor was based on the same compression tech as Hyperion, but only Shizuku's was on par in terms of compactability. However, all three were becoming obsessed by how cool it looked. "Well, there's always gonna be those few assholes in any class," Aika said, glaring at Vincent's back. In fact, she glared so hard, Vincent's Quirk activated, causing him to look around and spot Aika, but he said nothing and simply turned back to the gym.

"You're gonna have to give him a chance sooner or later Aika. All of you will."

Aika gave her a slanted gaze, "From the few interactions I saw, you and Endo are madly in love, how on Earth can you forgive him for doing that to him?"

Shizuku was quiet for a few seconds, "Endo's more hurt than I thought, but he would rather put this all behind him. It wouldn't help him to be angry over something he wants to forget."

Aika pressed her lips together as she contemplated Shizuku's words, never letting her eyes leave Vincent's back.

Towards the front of the class, the more friendly 1-A members were saying hi to 1-C.

"Wow! I've never seen you guys in your costumes before!" Midoriya was busy scribbling in his journal as fast as his hands would allow.

Kenichi and Kirishima were laughing at the startling similarities between their Quirks and even their costumes. Iida was exchanging pleasantries with Okami. Mina went to hug Shizuku, the two had become close friends during lunch. Bakugo and Daidoji exchanged glares. There were a dozen other interactions, but for the most part, the two classes got along surprisingly well. After all, it was the teachers who had neglected 1-C, not their classmates.

"I was sorry to hear about Endo. That must be hard for you."

"Uh… yeah…" Okami said awkwardly. In a ploy to change the subject he asked, "So you guys getting ready for the Provisional License exam?"

Iida looked like he wanted to say more, but sensing Okami's desire to not continue the conversation, Yaoyorozu stepped in, "Yes. We've been working hard on our Super Moves, like I'm sure you're about to."

Hirose smiled, "You bet!"

The onyx-haired beauty smiled right back, "Well, it seems like Mr. Aizawa really wants us to get going. So if you'll excuse us." The girl bowed low and helped Iida drag Midoriya away from class C.

"W-Wait! I still have questions about their Quirks!" But the two ignored the nerd's pleading and waved back as class C said their goodbyes.

Once inside the gym, Ragdoll gestured to all the concrete pillars and cliffs scattered around. "Go wild!"

"T-That's it?" Kenichi asked after a few seconds of silence.

Ectoplasm sighed and lowered his head slightly, "What we're looking for here is a finisher, something that will end any battle. To be fair, going wild is kinda what we were hoping to see. When you're giving your all, you're certain to find your biggest strength. Of course, don't just rampage. You'll need to put some serious thought into it as well. If for some reason you truly can't think of anything, then just focus on training your Quirks."

The class nodded and Ectoplasm set them to work.

Kenichi grinned wide as he began downing calcium, "Shizuku, Okami, Daidoji! Feel free to use me as your punching bag!" With that said, he activated the Super Move he accidentally developed on Island 731, Medusa's Armor. Bone exploded to cover his body, making him look exactly like a lumpy statue.

Kaito tapped Vincent on the shoulder and muttered a few words to him. Seconds later, the duo walked away, Nikiya not far behind.

Hirose had no plan for her Super Move, so she just started running. It always helped her think.

Will and Wilhelm bumped fists and then backed away from each other before a rapid fire shoot out began. Radiation and lightning flying everywhere.

Sen, Aika, Ashira, Shinbou, Ryouji, Nayuki, and Shinso all went off together in a big group, intending on honing their Quirks together.

Meanwhile, Tannin stood right where he was, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face. Seeing this, Ectoplasm approached him. "What's the matter?"

"You expect me to just be a battery all day?"

"Excuse me?"

"My Quirk is just the one thing, giving everyone a power-up. I can't train a Super Move from that."

"Then how about training your stamina?"

Tannin grumbled, "Didn't you hear me? I don't want to just be a battery."

Ectoplasm nodded, "You aren't. But you're Quirk is." He laid a hand on the teen's shoulder, but it was quickly shrugged off, "Just because you're Quirk is a battery, doesn't mean that you as a person will be treated like a battery."

"But I have been treated that way before."

"By your classmates?"

"N… No."

Ecto gestured out to the gym, "No is calling for you to come make them stronger. They plan on being stronger by themselves. But sometimes, people alone can't succeed. When that day comes, it will be up to you to be their hero."

Tannin still had the scowl on his face, but instead of arguing further, he simply nodded and walked away, hoping to find a quiet place to train."

In the middle of the gym, Kenichi laughed as the three transformation type Quirks did their best to fell the bony student. Okami's claws couldn't scratch the surface, Daidoji's punches didn't have enough force behind them to crack the bone and Karkinos wasn't controlled enough to actually focus its damage. "Is that the best you've got!"

Shizuku took control once more and transformed back to herself, "Time out!" She was breathing heavily, "I can't get emotional enough to strengthen Karkinos."

Kenichi's gravely voice came from his cracked bone visage, "Well… just think of a person who gets you mad and picture me as them."

"I… don't really get mad. Not often at least."

Daidoji crossed her arms, "There is definitely someone who you could get mad at."

Shizuku suddenly shook her head, "Let's… just drop it."

The other three shrugged and went right back to slugging it out, only now Karkinos had even less fight in him.

"What's the point of this?" Vincent asked as he faced off against Kaito. Nikiya stood nearby practicing with her Quirk. She had originally wanted to join the two with whatever they were doing, but Kaito had objected.

"It's something my teacher taught me. If we're going metaphysical with it then I guess you'd call it ki or something. In reality, it's more like tuning your senses all the way up. It took me years before I grasped it, but you have it easy. You're Quirk already turns all your senses to eleven, you just have to learn how to use it."

"I-I don't understand…"

Kaito sighed and pulled out his katana, pointing it at him, "Dodge."

Vincent's eyes widened as his Quirk alerted him and just as he was about to look around, he felt a sharp pain on his ankle. One of Kaito's daggers had made a shallow cut.

"You say you're Quirk doesn't tell you where danger is coming from. But if you're sensing the danger in the first place, then there's the possibility for you to know where it's coming from. You just have to learn."

"And you're gonna throw daggers at me until I figure it out?!"

Kaito shrugged, "Maybe. If I have to. Nobody trusts you to be their Sentry, so I'm going to help you be good enough for them. Whether you like it or not."

MHA: 1-C

It was the day of the Provisional License exam and class 1-C was boarding the bus with a nervous excitement. They all had their hero cases in hand and all were itching to start the exam.

Shizuku held her phone in one hand as she read a text from Endo, 'I'll be in orbit by the time you guys start, so tell everyone I said goodluck.'

Shizuku responded, 'You better not get hurt up there.'

'I won't. You've got this.'

She smiled as she set her phone to sleep and turned back to the rest of her class muttering to herself, "We've got this…"
