Steve walked into the family floor in the early morning of six o'clock. He had just finished his morning run and had a shower a while ago and now had his mindset on breakfast for the 10+ people that live or partly live with them now.

As Steve exited the lift and stepped into the room, he let out a sigh. The room was silent, one of the few moments the tower was ever quiet. However, Steve had a bit of a surprise when he saw something on the ceiling, well someone.

"Peter?" Steve blinked up at his son. Peter snapped his head towards him, seeming quite startled by Steve's presents.
"Pop?" Peter squeaked out. Steve nodded as he made his way towards his spider-son.
"Mind telling me why you're up at six in the morning," Steve smirked as he placed a hand on his hip. Peter blinked a few times before answering.
"Um, I have school."
"You never wake up at six." Steve sent an accusing glance towards the boy.
"Um, well, you see, this, ok, it's was, well..."
"Couldn't sleep?"
"Yes..."

Steve softly smiled before holding out his arms, a universal message that's he wants hugs. Peter grinned as he jumped down from the ceiling and collided with his Pop. Normal Steve wouldn't even feel it as Tony had said he was made of bricks but due to Peter's enhanced strength, that when tested was, in fact, stronger than Steve's, Steve staggered back slightly.
"You want to tell me what's on your mind?" Steve asked, Peter just buried his faces into Steve's torso instead of answering. Steve frowned.
"How about this, you help me make breakfast for everyone and you can tell me when you're ready?" Peter looked up and smiled.
"Ok, Steve." Peter then let go and headed to the fridge.

Steve, however, was left perplexed on the spot. Steve? Peter always called his Pop.

Steve shook off his confusion with Peter just being tried and made his way towards his son. A smile firmly placed on his lips.

And that's the end of chapter 18. Mistakes are being made and if we're not careful then things can turn bad quickly. How have all of your quarantines been going? Mine this week has been well, spent four days writing out a timeline for a fanfiction I'm planning. One that originally supposed to be a one-shot will now be a muti-chapter story. I just want to say thank you to my amazing friends on my group chat for dealing with me for those four days as I ranted about the timeline and supported me when I was stuck. With a special thank you to five of my friends who are my beta readers for reading the first chapter and the little bits I wrote while being wonderful when I had writers' block and couldn't think of a backstory. Thank you, I couldn't ask for a better friend group of amazing and supportive people. Anyway, hope you enjoyed.
