Mike was feeling extremely happy. And the best part was, he wasn't driving a car.

Last time his happiness was short-lived. He had had to worry about many other things, including a mad girlfriend, injured raccoons, a sprained wrist, a worried family, and a father-in-law with a gun. He could finally enjoy the fact that he had lost his virginity to El and that it had been wonderful. It was difficult, weird, but Mike new they were going to figure it out and gradually it would get even better. Of course, they still had to discuss Eleven's pleasure because it was harder for her since she was a woman, but it would work out in the end.

Mike was very optimistic... until Eleven got up and started putting on her clothes.

"El!" he complained, but she continued.

"Daddy will be here soon!"

Mike buffed, rolled his eyes, but started putting on his clothes too.

"At least we managed to do something..."

El laughed. It was great for her, although it was still a little weird, but it was impressive to see how much Mike liked it.

She hugged him from behind.

"I promise we'll have more time soon," She kissed his back "but we really shouldn't mess with Dad."

"Certainly," he smiled and kissed her.

They heard Hopper's car coming and broke up. They went to the living room to wait for him and pretend that nothing had happened.

Hopper came in happily until he set his eyes on Mike. He buffed.

"What is the boy doing here?" He went straight to the kitchen to get a can of beer.

"It's Eleven's boyfriend!" Joyce replied, following behind.

"They weren't born glued to each other!"

The woman rolled her eyes.

"Give him credit. He just had a car accident. They were quietly taking care of Kitty and..."

"Who?!"

"The raccoon." Hopper rolled his eyes, but let Joyce continue. "They've been quiet in the room since he arrived. They didn't make a noise... They're old and we'll have to accept..."

"Oh, sure..." Hopper took a distracted sip until he realized something. "Wait, in the room? Alone?! The door was closed?!"

Joyce swallowed and told the truth. She saw no harm, especially because the two were dating and Kitty needed to sleep. Yes, she only had male children, but she cared a lot for Mike and El and that's why she trusted them both.

Hopper immediately shot into the living room and caught Mike by the collar.

"You think you can do these things right under my nose, huh? Do you think you're smart, kid? For I am more and I have a gun and never again..."

"Hopper!" El and Joyce shouted together, the girl already getting ready to use her powers to help Mike.

"We need to talk alone."

Joyce pulled her husband into their room and he knew he was screwed. The woman was angry because she had had to deal with Will, Jonathan and Lonnie all her life. She knew how to make you pay attention.

The one who swallowed hard this time was Hopper.

Dustin and Max were lying in bed, naked, enjoying the little time they had together. She stroked the chest of whoever Dustin was hers, thoughtfully.

She had to admit that she had thought of him that way several times. Just as she had often remembered Lucas and cried. Thinking about Dustin didn't help her feel better, because with him came the memory that she hadn't known how to deal with him properly when she was dating Lucas. Still, she didn't expect them to sleep together.

Max had imagined what it would be like and if they would ever do it, but always dismissed the possibility. When she heard he was going to pick her up at the station, she was excited and hoped that they might have an affair. She used the word 'affair' to describe the situation, because soon Max would return to boarding school and it would be difficult to maintain a relationship like that, mainly because contact with boys inside was prohibited. Returning to the point, she was more straightforward than he, who was very shy, and imagined stealing a kiss, just as she had done with Lucas, but never imagined that she would have the courage to start something so much more intimate. And she had never been so hopeful like that. She didn't want to think about the after and just enjoy that moment.

Max thought of her friends. She had barely had time to be with them. Each was solving their own life. They seemed more distant.

Lucas wouldn't let go of Lily. Mike wouldn't let go of Eleven. And for not letting go of Bethany, Will suffered from his past. By the way, he had looked so saddened at the hospital. Was it all for Mike?

"Dusty..." she called and the boy was slow to return. He was lost in his own thoughts, those in which he found himself marrying and having children with Max. He couldn't be more in love and he didn't believe his luck.

"Hm?" he replied slightly, returning little by little.

"Did you notice that Will was kind of weird at the hospital?"

He frowned.

"Weird how?" He didn't notice anything. He only had eyes for Max. Her red hair was mesmerizing, how to think of anything else? The only information he had processed was: Mike had been in an accident and he was fine.

"He looked kind of sad. He barely spoke, only looked at the floor..."

Dustin still had to think a little, and then he remembered that the day before he said that he had tried to tell Bethany and she was almost done with him.

"Remember I said Will wanted to tell Bethany about everything?" She nodded. "So, he tried and it didn't work..."

"What do you mean?"

"She thought he was making fun of her face and threw him out of her house. They haven't spoken in days..."

"My God, Dustin!" Max propped herself up on her elbow to look at him. "We have to do something! He was just trying to improve their relationship by being sincere and not making fun!"

"Yes. He wanted El to prove using her powers, but with everything that happened, he didn't even have time..."

"What if we called a meeting?"

And so, it was done.

First, they got dressed. Then, Dustin contacted Lucas and Will by the supercom telling the reason for the meeting. Meanwhile, Max called Eleven, because in addition to wanting to talk to her friend, she knew that Mike would probably be there, and he was. So, they agreed to meet in the basement. As for Bethany, Max said she would take care of her.

She went to knock on the girl's door herself.

"Max!" Bethany screamed in happiness. She immediately wrapped her in a tight hug.

First, the two did not get along very well. A feminine friend (El) was enough for the redhead. She couldn't take another. Not to mention that in addition to being full of femininity, Bethany was also rich. She lived in Loch Nora, something that always intimidated Max a lot, because she had a reputation for being tough, but she was sensitive inside. She was afraid of losing because of the money. Nobody in the group was as rich as the blonde.

Bethany wasn't popular, because she didn't let herself, she didn't want to, but she received many friend requests for interest. Everyone wanted to have access to her luxuries. That is why she had always been more friendly to those with similar financial conditions, to avoid friction. She had never thought of being friends with the group, let alone dating Will. And he never flirted with her either, even though he had a crush on her, because he knew she was too much for him. Why dream if it would ever happen?

Meanwhile, Lucas was the opposite. It was revealed in the truth or dare game a week before Lucas liked Bethany, but forgot it, because Will kissed her.

The ranger used to dream about that life at Loch Nora since he was a child. This was because his financial condition was not like that of Max or Will, but because he was black, the prejudice was always greater. He thought that if he had more money and lived in the most upscale neighborhood, he could have more respect. So, it wasn't a crush on her that he had, but a dream of being like her. Then he met Max who was worse off than he was financially - something that made him feel better and that caused so many fights between the two of them - before they broke up and Lily arrived.

Lucas's current girlfriend was in the same level as him in terms of money, just a little bit higher because she was white - she dyed her hair blonde too, but she wasn't real blonde like Bethany. And the last one that looked like she painted because of some locks, usually the ones underneath, were a dark brown too. Except that even though she didn't have as much money as Bethany, she owned roughly the same amount as Lucas, Lily was popular.

Lily was tall, slender, skinny and confident, but she swallowed Lucas' annoyances, something Max had never done - hence the friction. Her appearance always attracted attention and guaranteed her place in the popular group. Beth was very pretty, but Lily was a different, unique beauty, really a wonder. Each guaranteed their place with an advantage, but Bethany never wanted to use hers. However, the fake blonde wasn't a bad person, just as Lucas wasn't. They only had strong geniuses, however she was more submissive and he loved it, because, after having had a woman questioning him for so long, Lucas felt good. He wasn't quite a sexist. Lily always gave her opinion, and if her manner wasn't so submissive, he would accept it too, just didn't insist on it all the time. They were the perfect couple. Just like Will and Bethany!

Lucas wanted a bigger position, because he wanted to prove that despite not being rich, being black and nerdy he could do a lot. With Lily, he got that, because who wouldn't respect the boyfriend of one of the most powerful girls in that place? By the way she was Steve's cousin which left her with a story already in high school. In the meantime, she needed him to study. She wasn't dumb, but very anxious. She lacked focus and so her grades weren't the best. However, she dealt well with the school cheerleaders. She was the captain. She was already doing something like that because she was very agitated. Only Lucas could make it stop and absorb the matter of physics. Something she found interesting, as she realized he was directly present in the dances they did.

They completed each other and therefore got along very well. In addition to loving each other for being compatible in various cultural aspects - they both loved jazz, physics and playing snooker (some examples), they also found a practical way to deal with their problems.

Will was the same Bethany, but the other way around.

She had noticed his talent for drawing, because it was impossible to go unnoticed in art classes and of course he was cute, who wouldn't notice that? But very poor. She wasn't judging, she was just tired of self-interest. It was kind of a rule that she created for herself. She would only get involved with those who also lived in Loch Nora.

But as destiny is, they ended up at the same party.

His parents didn't follow her rule, so they were friends with a street neighbor from Mike and Lucas, which made them leave Bethany at the house of that man - because they needed to go to Indianopolis to do some shopping - who happened to be having a party birthday for his child. He invited all the kids on the street and that was just why Will, Mike, Dustin and Lucas ended up at a party and ended up playing truth or dare. Then Will kissed Bethany and they immediately sparkled, something that surprised both of them.

Will was shy and even with Mike and Dustin practically throwing him at her, the boy didn't take the initiative. He had already suffered too much. He didn't want a broken heart to complete. Until one day Bethany approached him in his closet, asking him out. She didn't expect to do that, but the kiss intrigued her. They soon discovered that they had a lot in common and in less than a week they started dating. They were so strong together that Beth immediately ignored one of her principles.

They complemented each other because they were both artists and felt alone. That was why they were feeling so bad with the sudden ending. They felt floorless. As if no one could ever understand them as they did.

"I didn't know you were coming here, friend!" Beth said as soon as she finally stopped hugging Max and asked her to come in.

"Will didn't..." Max realized that they should have fought before she told him she was going. "Well, I need to talk to you about Will..." Bethany rolled her eyes, buffed and went to the kitchen. Although they were wealthy, they didn't want to leave a rich life and for this reason she helped with housework. Beth started to wash the dishes. "Beth, you're not like that," she complained.

"It's just that Will lied to me all this time!" She dropped the plate and turned to her friend. "I thought our relationship was special, and suddenly he becomes a huge son of a bitch!"

"Beth!" Max chided. Bethany didn't use to curse.

"It's true!" she countered. "I let him open up to me. I used to open up all the time with him and he comes with Upside Down, Demogorgan and superhero powers?!"

"He's telling the truth..." Max murmured in fear of the girl's judgments.

"Max!" Bethany was outraged. Were they all in this debauchery?

"Bethany, please listen to me!" the redhead asked holding her friend's arms so she wouldn't run away. "I know it sounds crazy, but it's true..."

"Max ..."

"Please come to the Wheelers' basement tonight and see for yourself! We can prove it. Please! For me and El! We women have to be together!"

Bethany sighed and thought until Max's blue eyes convinced her to take one last chance. Good thing she missed the events of that night.

The series that took place was: Mike was already there - obviously, because it was his home - when Lucas arrived. Then Will and Eleven. Finally, Max and Dustin.

Lucas was surprised by the closeness between the two and for this reason he provoked Dustin, who returned the offenses, because of his lies. There was a big discussion full of jealousy and anger until the punches started. Max shouted for them to stop while Will, Mike and Eleven watched, until the she got tired and lifted them both up in the air with her powers. That's where Bethany came in. But that I will leave for the next one ;)
