No trigger warnings! This is a pretty fluffy chapter. As always take care of yourselves and thank you for reading!

"So are you excited for your date with Logan?" Patton hummed playfully, fixing the fold of this cream turtleneck.
"Focus on your own date, Patt," Virgil replied, peaking around the other side of the bathroom door.
"I know, I know, I really am excited to see what Roman has planned this time. But obviously I'm excited for you too! This is your first individual date with Logan," Patton chirped excitedly.
"I swear you weren't even this excited for our first date," Virgil chuckled.
"Well, I mean, I did kind of do it spontaneously. There wasn't any waiting for either of us," Patton replied.
"Fair enough," Virgil paused for a moment as he turned his attention back to the mirror in Patton's bathroom. "So… Uh, what type of plans should I be expecting from Logan?"
"Depends on his mood really. Some days he is very simplistic and sets up for a quiet and relaxing evening, other times, though much less frequent, he sets up dates that could rival Roman in terms of planning and romance," Patton said with an almost dreamy sigh.
"That doesn't help me decide if what I'm wearing is okay," Virgil complained.
He wore the jacket and pants from their first date but he had changed his shirt to a light gray T-shirt with a low V neck and his shoes to ankle boots.
"I told you that it'd be perfect when I helped you pick it out," Patton said, slipping into the bathroom to be with Virgil instead of talking through the partially open door. "We are both going to have a great night tonight."
There was a knock at the door, pulling both of their attention away from the mirror.
"That must be Ro," Patton said before quickly rubbing circles on the back of Virgil's cat ear. "Trust me. You look amazing. I'll see you tomorrow, Kitten."
On that note Patton pressed a kiss to the top of Virgil's head and walked over to the door. Roman was waiting on the other side in a white suit and golden tie, a bright smile on his face as he took Patton's hand. When the door closed again Virgil took a quick look at the clock. Logan was always punctual, meaning he had less than a minute left. He turned his attention back to the mirror, checking his makeup again. At Patton's suggestion he had gone with a much more natural look, forsaking his usual dark colors for neutral brown colors, Patton had helped him fine-line the underside of his eyes with white eyeliner to make his eyes look bigger and less tired. He didn't put on any base makeup so his pale freckles were visible. Finally his lips were softly tinted by a dark pink lip gloss. He bit the inside of his lip nervously and held onto the ring around his neck before making his way over to the door, reaching it right as Logan knocked. Virgil opened the door to find Logan waiting on the other side in a formal suit and tie. Virgil smiled up at him as he stepped out of Patton's room.
"Seems I'm a little under-dressed compared to you," Virgil hummed.
"I assure you, you look quite lovely. It is perfect for tonight," Logan replied, lending him his arm to lead him to their destination.
"So where exactly are you taking me?" Virgil asked, raising a brow.
"Just downstairs," Logan shrugged.
Virgil's curiosity was peaking. He couldn't understand why Logan would bother getting so dressed up to go to their living room. Virgil found his answer however when they reached the top to the stairs and he was faced with the sight of their dimly lit living room and kitchen that no longer looked anything like it had that morning. The living room furniture was completely gone, replaced with a grand piano in the corner and candles that lined the room. Logan led him back towards the kitchen where a dinner of beef tenderloin, roasted herb potatoes, and green peas paired with a glass of red wine.
"I hope this is to your liking," Logan said, guiding Virgil into his seat before taking his own.
"This is wonderful. I just want to know what happened to all of the furniture," Virgil laughed.
"Easy fix my dear. I can revert it back to normal with a snap of my fingers," Logan replied.
Virgil hadn't realized how strong of summoning abilities Logan had. They all had them, though obviously the creative side was able to do much more than the others, but it seemed he had underestimated Logan. Virgil himself was hopeless at summoning anything bigger than a phone, he naturally assumed Logan and Patton weren't much better.
"Care for a bit of music?" Logan asked, cutting his meat into neat little squares.
"Um, sure?" Virgil replied, not really knowing exactly what Logan had in mind.
Logan clapped his hands and the Piano in the other room began playing on its own. The notes were soft, peaceful, as soothing as Logan's constant presence. Virgil could feel the remaining tension leaving his shoulders as a genuine smile crossed his lips.
"It's beautiful Logan," Virgil said.
"I can show you how to play it after we eat if you would like," Logan replied, taking a sip of his wine.
"Really? But I'm not good at that sort of thing," Virgil said.
"Falsehood, you have never tried it therefore there is no valid evidence to support your claim. Besides it is rare that anyone should be perfect at something they have never tried before. If you don't want to you don't have to but I believe it would be an enjoyable experience," Logan insisted.
"Then, I'd love to give it a try," Virgil hummed.
The two sides peacefully ate the dinner Logan had prepared while the soothing comfort of drifting notes filled through the air. When they finished their plates Logan stood and gave Virgil his hand leading him back into the living room. As they reached the piano the keys stopped moving and Logan took a seat on the bench, leaving half of it open so Virgil could sit beside him.
"May I?" Logan asked, his hands hovering over Virgil's.
Virgil nodded and Logan took his hands gently guiding them over the keys. First Logan used his right hand to do a simple pattern of note, Do, re, do, re, re, me, sol, la, ti, do, ti, do, re, do, sol, me, do, ti, do. After repeating the pattern a few times Logan went to the other hand helping him finger easy chords lasting for two beats before moving on to the next. He played them in time with both hands, slipping up occasionally even with his slow counts. Logan still nodded along encouragingly as he turned back to his own end of the piano. His own fingers began to move along his own keys adding a new layer to the song. His own part was more complicated and changed from Virgil's steady pattern. Still the parts fit together so perfectly. There was no sheet music to follow and yet Logan seemed to know exactly what he was doing. Four hands each playing their own part, twisting together to make a whole. Every note living in harmony, everyone living in peace. It made Virgil's heart swell with emotion as he lost himself in the sound. Virgil didn't realize when he started swaying softly to the music as he played, softly humming the tune of his right hand.
"You seem to be enjoying the music. Would you like to dance?" Logan asked.
"What?" Virgil squeaked, his face flushing.
"Only if you would like to, dear," Logan added, never looking up from the piano keys.
"I…" Virgil's own hands stopped moving for a moment, leaving the room to be filled only with the slow melodies Logan presented.
Virgil knew next to nothing about how to dance. He could look like a fool or step on Logan's feet. Even still as he looked at the way the candle light flickered off of Logan's calm expression Virgil couldn't help but want to experience it with him.
"I want to," Virgil replied. "Fair warning though, I have no idea how to dance."
"If your learning to dance is anything like piano playing you will perform exceptionally well," Logan hummed.
Virgil blushed and watched Logan continue to play the piano for a moment more, bringing their song to a satisfying end. He then stood up once again and extended his hand to Virgil who hesitantly took it. He gently pulled the anxious side up and held him close, moving deeper into the now mostly empty living room. Logan's hands gently made their way to Virgil's waist, watching him carefully in case he should pull back. Virgil's heart hammered in his chest and he felt himself growing tense but he didn't want Logan to pull back so he moved his own hands to Logan's shoulders. Virgil wasn't sure what to think of being so close to Logan but the warmth of the other's body made his tension start to melt away. Virgil embarrassedly nuzzled his face into Logan's chest. Logan rested his chin on top of Virgil's head, succuring him into his loving embrace.
The music started in the background and Logan began swaying them to the slow notes. Virgil listened more closely to the familiar notes being played and realized it was the ones they had just played, exactly as they had played them. The sound was the exact same as when Logan started showing him what notes to play. The same slow, messy notes as when he tried to adjust to the correct pattern.
"You could have played a more professional version of the song," Virgil chuckled, not moving from their tight embrace as they trotted in a slow, swaying circle.
"But this one is perfect to me, it is the one we played together," Logan replied, his voice so soft it sent shivers up Virgil's spine.
Virgil could feel his cheeks burning at the comment, matching the warm swell in his chest. He smiled and closed his eyes, pressing as close to Logan as he could. He felt his ears and tail form again, but it wasn't from fear, embarrassment, or sadness like usual. The feeling that was overflowing and radiating through him was the same one that had been building up for days. It was a feeling he could only compare to the sun, blindingly bright and burning warmth but welcome nonetheless. It was joy, love.
Virgil's tail wrapped around Logan's hip and he could hear a breathy sound when the ears initially tickled his face. Virgil nuzzled the left side of his face into Logan's chest, his human ear pressing close to take in the sound of Logan's steady heartbeat. He never knew until this moment how comforting the sound of a heartbeat could be. He loved every second of this closeness. He didn't know what he had done to deserve to feel this wonderful feeling, or why the universe had gifted him with three such loving boyfriends.
The song was coming to an end soon and Virgil took a moment to look up at Logan again. He looked so perfect in the dim, flickering candle light. The orange light danced off of his glasses, further reflecting in his light brown eyes. A feeling of anxiety welled up in his chest twisting together with the glowy sentimental feeling and he welcomed it. It was a good feeling. He'd chickened out with Patton, too afraid of rejection or criticism but after everything they had all said to him he wasn't sure if his fear was very valid at this point. Why had they put up with him for so long if they were only going to get rid of him? There was no reason. He should just go with his emotions and see where it took him. This was what he wanted, more than anything.
"L-Logan?"
Logan let out a hum of acknowledgment, his expression showing the same loving sincerity that Virgil had come to depend on. The music came to a stop and they continued to hold each other although they had stopped moving.
"C-can I… I want to…" Virgil stumbled unsure of how to ask.
"You can do whatever you please," Logan reassured Virgil.
He didn't know what Virgil wanted but he loosened his already light hold on Virgil in case Virgil needed to move or get away. He wanted his love to be able to do as he wished comfortably, no matter what it was, he'd likely agree to any request Virgil made unless it was completely unreasonable. Logan was however met with a rather pleasant surprise when Virgil's hands moved from his neck to his hair pulling Logan's head down slightly as he stood up on his toes to connect their lips together. Virgil could feel his whole body tingle and the warmth inside him started to grow. He pulled back after what was only a few seconds and looked up at Logan's surprised expression shyly, his cat ears bending down and he bit his lower lip.
"Well, I certainly was not expecting that but I am certainly not going to complain," Logan hummed pressing his forehead against Virgil's.
"Then can we do it again?" Virgil asked.
This time it was Logan's turn to move his hand bringing one of them up to cup the side of Virgil's face as they pressed their lips together. Logan moved his lips against Virgil who practically collapsed into the support of Logan's remaining arm, his knees trembling weakly. The little sun inside of him was making him melt away into the feeling he was receiving. He did his best to keep up with Logan's movements but still felt completely overwhelmed.
The kiss lasted a little longer than it had the previous time and Virgil's while face had gone completely red, spreading onto his ears and chest.
"Well darling, I certainly believe that was a splendid way to end our night," Logan breathed softly, the warm air hitting Virgil's ear and making him shiver again.
"J-just one more?" Virgil said, knowing fully well he wouldn't want to be kissed anymore once he was in bed and he didn't want to lose the feeling quite yet.
"I'll kiss you as many times as you want, love," Logan replied.
Virgil felt those words go through him and make his embarrassed fire burn even hotter but that didn't stop the excited flick of his tail behind him.
