"Man I just hope we can get this started soon," Daidoji said as her leg bounced up and down, mirroring Hirose's. The only difference was Hirose's energy was because of her Quirk.
All nineteen of class C sat in their designated area of the lobby, their costumes donned. They were desperately waiting for someone to step up and take the podium in front of them.
"I kinda wish Ragdoll had said something besides, 'I've only known you all a couple of days, but I'm sure you'll all do great,'" Kenichi responded in a high pitch energetic voice.
"That's way too good."
Kenichi chuckled, "Thanks for the compliment Yosei. Maybe I'll just talk like that from now on."
Yosei raised her eyebrows, "If I had a genie in front of me, that would be the last wish I ever thought of."
"You know what I wish? I wish they would get this started!"
Kaito and Okami both tried to calm down the hybrid, "Come on Dai, keep it down, there are other classes around us. Ones from other schools."
"If you keep acting like that, they'll consider us an easy target," Kaito added.
"What?"
"Well, only in the event we're competing against each other of course." His eyes flicked to the right, "But with how the other schools are acting, I think it's safe to say we are competing. Shiketsu and Seiai have been glaring at us for the past thirty minutes."
"Other schools have a class C in the hero course, but up until now, UA never did. They're looking to take us down." Shizuku realized.
"So for now, just stay-" A feedback shriek pierced the air, causing many to wince at the uncomfortable sound.
"Alright…" A tired and completely unenthusiastic voice filled the room and all the classes looked up to see a man with light colored hair and bags under his eyes that were so dark some thought he was bruised at first. "Let's get this exam underway… that way I can get back to sleep." The man barely held his head up, "My name is Mera and I will be instructing you today. I'm gonna get down to brass tax so I can get back to sleep. There are roughly one thousand of you applicants here and all of you will be competing in a free-for-all in order to win your license." He lifted his head slightly, "We're here because we need the best, and because of a certain recent event, we need them fast. As such, your first test will be speed. The first one hundred students to pass will move onto the next stage."
This sent a ripple through the huge lobby as the students began complaining. Most of Class C just hardened their expression, more determined than before. Of course, that wasn't helped by Ashira saying, "Well, I guess some of us won't pass."
"Calm down," Mera slurred out, "We don't have time to debate this. So I'll get right into the explanation. You'll be given three circular targets that you have to place on any exposed part of your body. If all three are hit by this special ball," He pulled out a slightly reddish sphere, "Then you are out, no go backs. You will be given six balls and will need to defeat two people in order to qualify. Whoever strikes the last target gets the credit, it doesn't matter if they only hit one, as long as it's the last one."
Men around the room began handing out the targets and balls.
"We'll begin one minute after handing out the targets."
Suddenly the top of the room split open, revealing the biggest fighting arena anyone had ever seen. It was like they had put together all of UA's practice grounds and then some.
Just like that, everyone scattered like packs of mice, herding together with their respective classmates.
"Everyone's gonna team up with the people they know, so we should stick together too!" Okami announced.
But Kaito shook his head, "Sorry, but I prefer to fight alone."
"What?!"
"You fought just fine with us on the island!"
"Yeah… but that was life or death."
"And this is your career!"
Kaito shrugged, "I'm never gonna get better at solo fighting if I'm always in a group. Besides," He drew his sword, "It's much more fun to fight stronger opponents when you're not getting backup." With that, he ran off, not even noticing Vincent and Nikiya chase after him.
"Damn." Okami cursed his bad luck as he scanned the terrain, they were still out in the open. Then, the buzzer sounded and all hell broke loose.
A dozen groups of people appeared from behind rocks or on top of cliffs, "Ya know!" One boy shouted down, "We've never gotten the chance to take down UA's class C before. We always hear about how much fun it is for A and B. So thanks for giving us this opportunity."
"Hey Okami?" Daidoji asked quietly.
"Yeah?"
"Wasn't Nikiya our wide range shield?"
He sighed, "Yeah."
"Hmm, well, good luck!" And just like that, Hirose took off in a burst of speed.
"This is just not our day," Okami said as his shirt tore away, revealing his muscled body and the fur growing from it.
"Well," Tannin started, "We do have one more wide range shield." He took a deep breath and laid his hand on Kenichi just as the projectiles started flying.
Kenichi smiled wide and slammed his hands together, causing an explosion of bone to erupt, forming a dome around the fifteen students. Hundreds of thuds could be immediately heard from outside as the balls ricocheted off. It gave UA just a few more seconds to adapt before the shield was shattered by an energy blast.
Normally, Kenichi would've shrugged the attack off and kept going, but he had minimal time to put up the shield and he didn't want to waste a lot of his calcium on a shield that was deflecting rubber balls.
Shizuku, or rather, Karkinos, jumped right into action. It raced through the storm of projectiles on all fours, keeping it's target aimed squarely at the ground. Karkinos had no care for the targets, but Shizuku knew he would run this way when in a hurry and positioned her targets as such.
Wilhelm and Will both raised their hands to the newest wave of rubber balls.
"Blitz Ricochet!"
"Nuclear Scattershot!"
Wilhelm's one lightning bolt launched from his fingertip, bouncing between targets, exploding them all mid air.
Will's approach took a more straightforward approach. From each of his fingertips, a small sphere of nuclear energy shot forth and sought out their targets.
Both did this multiple times, each taking out nearly two hundred balls. It was enough to grant the class a few seconds of reprieve and allowed them to scatter in all directions.

"Why in the world would you follow me?!"
Vincent was at a loss for words, "I-I just… you're one of the few people I feel comfortable around right now."
"This was your chance to get stuck with Aika or Will in a tight spot and then you get them out!" Kaito exhaled a tired sigh as daggers floated behind him and batted balls back at their senders. "Well, I guess it doesn't matter now. Let's just take care of these guys." Kaito turned around only to see his vision filled entirely by a bright red broadsword.
Before the battle happy swordsman had the chance to smile, Vincent tackled him out of the way.
The two went skidding across the ground, Vincent weighing down on top of Kaito, who sighed once more, "See?! This is what you were supposed to do with one of the others!"
Vincent groaned, "Aika would've stopped the girl before she even made it close and Will would've just melted the swo-AH!"
Kaito shoved his classmate off of him and raised his own sword to block the heavy strike from the girl in black knight's armor, one hand on the hilt, the other at the end of his blade.
Seeing that Kaito's sword didn't break, she scowled and her sword became incandescent with heat. But Kaito only smiled, "Oh your's does that too?!" His own sword began to glow a bright white thanks to his hero gear. Kaito then twisted to the left, throwing the heavy broadsword to the side, and allowing him to roll to his feet. He adjusted his grip on his sword, grateful that his armor was heat resistant enough to allow him to touch his own red hot blade.
"Ya know, I'd love to hand this one off to you Vincent," Kaito stood and summoned his other sword, deactivating the heat on his main sword, "But I haven't had a real sword fight in ages." He nodded over to Nikiya who was fighting the girl's comrades. "You can go help your girlfriend."
Vincent said nothing and ran off, shaking his head all the way.
"Shiketsu… right?"
"Why should I bother telling you? You'll be out of this competition in about five minutes!"
"Oho! I like the attitude!" Kaito adjusted his stance, "But you always have to remember, never underestimate the swordsman in front of you."
The girl just gave Kaito a confused look and pointed the tip of her sword at him, unleashing a torrent of red hot fire.
Now, normally, Kaito refused to wear a helmet. It restricted his vision and overall was nothing more than a distraction. However, like Aika's and Daidoji's costume, it came with a retractable helmet and he was glad it did, because less than a second after it covered him, the flames tore past his body.
As it stood, his armor was smoking from the intense heat and some parts were even melting. Had he not put up the helmet, he probably would've died.
"Are you crazy?!"
The girl shrugged, the fighters now separated by a good twenty feet, "Despite what you think, I'm not some chivalrous knight. I never went to any dojos or anything to learn how to swing a blade."
Breathing heavily inside his armor, Kaito smiled, "Oh really?" Then, he muttered two simple words, "Black Burst."
Before the knight could even blink, Kaito was in front of her, swinging his Daito in a deadly downwards swing.
The girl desperately ignited her sword, creating an inferno of heat, but Kaito pushed right through it, his body passing through the flames like they didn't exist.
Realizing she wouldn't be able to stop the opposing swordsman, the knight took evasive actions, doing her best to dodge to the side. Unfortunately, she wasn't fast enough and the dark katana slammed into her shoulder armor.
Thankfully, it appeared that her armor was part of her Quirk and incredibly strong. As such, Darksteel couldn't cut it. It could however, dislocate the girl's shoulder and hit her hard enough to make her pass into unconsciousness.
Kaito made a "Tch," As he looked over her unconscious form and pressed all three of the targets, earning his first defeat, "That was kinda disappointing. Maybe I should've saved the Super Move," He said to himself.
Black Burst, a movement type attack that worked by hooking his daggers into his armor and propelling himself forwards and an extreme pace.
"Well, I guess I'll check on the others."

Shinbou, Daidoji, Will, and Shizuku sprinted through the industrial sector, the projectiles causing them to bob and weave intensely through the metal jungle.
Will scowled, "Can't you use your wings to buy us some time Shizuku?!"
"Karkinos won't give a damn about some rubber balls!" She shouted back, "He'd probably just try to kill whoever's throwing them!"
Hearing that they wouldn't get any backup from the monster girl, Shinbou grabbed a small cylinder from her belt and lobbed it over her shoulder. The gray canister exploded immediately upon hitting the ground, creating an unbelievable amount of smoke.
Will skidded to a stop and spun around, pressing two buttons on his metal gauntlets and held his hands out. A wall of green energy expanded, vaporizing anything that touched it. Earlier, he had been too caught off guard to utilize his gauntlet's new feature, but now it was used to great effect.
Daidoji and Shizuku both took the opportunity to transform and leap up onto the huge containers around them, intending to flank the enemy. Karkinos was almost immediately hit with a concentrated water stream, which began slowly eroding its thick black armor. Seeing the source of the water, a tall lanky boy with a blue costume, the monster snarled.
Daidoji on the other hand, had better luck on the container she had leapt up to. She got a good look at the scene that was unfolding around them. Three approached from the sky on the back of a fourth giant, winged, student, two were now fighting Karkinos on the container to the left of Will and Shinbou, while another four approached her on the metal structure.
But Daidoji didn't even care that she was outnumbered four to one. If she took out all four, that meant herself and one other classmate could pass. That wasn't even taking into account the other six opponents. The potential was here for all four of them to pass with one big fight.
Her right foot slid back as she prepared to launch herself at the closest tester. But just as she pushed off, she felt her foot catch on a small line and lose balance. Daidoji just barely kept herself from face planting, but before she could recover a force slammed into her face and sent her spinning backwards.
"How do you like our Quirks?" One of the boys asked, a grin on his face, "Tripwire and Range. You can't even get close to us."
The attack had been more annoying than damaging and Daidoji stood right back up. Just before another of the impacts could reach her, she leapt straight into the air, the arms on her back spreading a membrane between them as she began to glide around.
Suddenly, the Tripwire kid became panicked, proving Daidoji's assumption correct, he could only trip someone up when they were on solid ground. At the same time, the Quirk called Range was displayed in full for her.
The heavily muscled teen heaved back his arm and threw a punch aimed at the spider girl. A faint outline of his fist continued even though his punch reached its end. Surprisingly though, it traveled far slower than Daidoji would've expected. She easily veered to the side and tackled the Tripwire kid as the remaining two students went to help their friends.
"You guys have amazing timing!" Daidoji complimented as she threw punches at Range, "But I've fallen too far behind to let something so simple beat me!" Another punch to the stomach and a second fell. Now she only had to deal with the two mystery heroes in training.
On the other side of the industrial area, Karkinos rampaged as it chased down the water boy and his classmate. The water boy was using high pressure water, excreted from his feet, to fly, while his hands attacked the monster. Unfortunately for him, the more he attacked Karkinos, the more he attracted his animosity.
Wings finally sprouted from the monster's back and he launched into the air, chasing after the enemy. He bobbed and weaved through the water streams until he managed to latch onto the water hero with his talons. Karkinos's tail raised behind him, preparing to spear the student through the head.
"NO!" Shizuku rapidly took control once more, causing her body to revert back to human as the silver armor covered her once more. Thanks to this and the shock the boy had received, both plummeted back down to the ground, with Shizuku transforming back just in time to break her fall. The boy meanwhile, hit the ground hard enough to pass into unconsciousness.
Karkinos easily pulled itself back to its feet and aimed its attention at the second student now wide eyed by the encounter.
"Five students have already passed the exam!"
The tired voice of Mera echoed across the battlefield as Will desperately shot his radiation at the flying student. Meanwhile, Shinbou was facing off in hand to hand combat with two other physically enhanced students.
Normally, Shinbou would've had to hang back and wait for backup against two enhanced enemies, but thanks to her training, she had gotten that much closer to being a real hero.
"Truth Given Form." That was the name of her Super Move. Through the expenditure of her focus, she could discern the truth of her enemies movements and easily predict them.
She dodged with all the grace in the world, expending the smallest amount of energy to avoid getting hit. On the other hand, the girl and the boy attacking her were quickly becoming worn out. Shinbou had no intention of attacking them back, she was simply drawing their attention so Will could regain enough Radiation to shoot out another, "Nuclear Scattershot!"
Both the winged student and the student riding on top of him were hit straight on by the homing attacks and crashed back to the ground. Now half of the attacking force had been dealt with and another two easily fell when Will blasted them with Radiation.
The pair bumped fists and then jumped about a foot into the air when six limp bodies crashed down around them. Both Shizuku and Daidoji leapt down from their respective containers and landed next to the Truth hero and the Nuclear hero.
A total of ten defeats, two more than was necessary. And all were dealt with like they were nothing more than flies. The four smiled at each other. They had gotten stronger.

Will dragged his body into the safe room, where only five other people rested. He had been exhausted by his Radiation expenditure and needed to recharge. Thankfully, there were tables laden with food nearby.
Shinbou looked at the five other students, "We were the first to pass from UA?"
Daidoji nodded, "I guess so."
Shizuku plopped down on a nearby couch, "There's still ninety-one spots, I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure everyone's doing ok."
MHA: 1-C
"This is not ok!" Okami shouted as he dashed through the office building, crashing through walls and overturning desks. Nearby, Tannin and Nayuki had combined in order to fight off a giant blob. At the same time Shinso had taken control of a student who shot tranquilizers out of his hands.
The blue blob was seemingly impervious to any and all attacks the group could throw at it. It also refused to speak, or perhaps couldn't, making Shinso's Quirk useless against it. Every Time it touched something, it consumed it, making it grow bigger and bigger.
Okami and the others had already fought off half a dozen students and now their only challenge was the giant slime in front of them.
"Now would've been a really good time to have Will or Wilhelm with us!" Tannin shouted.
Without an energy based attack, there was no chance of them overcoming a melee immune opponent. Tannin had already attempted to boost his friends, but both Okami and Nayuki were purely physical. The boost had little effect on Shinso as well, since it only allowed him to control multiple people at once.
Okami and Nayuki eached crushed a pillar, collapsing an entire floor on the creature, but it refused to stop and just seeped through the cracks in the rubble, slowly consuming all of it. At the same time Nayuki leapt into the air, trying to get a better view of their opponent, intent on gleaning any info he could.
"Hey! I think I see a person inside all of this!" Nayuki landed right next to Shinso, "Give me a few of those tranq darts!"
Shinso raised his eyebrows, but had the mind controlled student pop out a few of the silver darts, "What do you plan to do with them?"
This time it was Tannin who answered, "We're going to dive inside and jam these into the guy who's manifesting all this."
"That's insane," Okami shouted, "This thing just ate through a building, how do you know if you'll be able to survive inside it?"
"I'll handle that," Tannin answered, he held a hand up to his silvery chest, "Overheat."
Thanks to Ectoplasm's advice, Tannin had actually managed to develop what he had considered impossible, a Super Move.
By focusing all his Quirk's power on one target, he could supercharge their Quirk for about forty-five seconds. It took all of his concentration and energy, but with Nayuki supporting him, it was the perfect combo.
Like on Chimera Island, Nayuki grew to the size of the hulkbuster armor, but this time was different. His silvery chassis had changed to a glossy black and steam appeared to be emanating from the metal. He had no time to spare, so without hesitation, he dove into the blue slime, burrowing through the gel at an insane pace. There was just one problem, he couldn't see a damn thing. The origin of the slime was going to be harder to find than he thought and he only had forty more seconds.
It was a disgusting slough through the intestines of a monster and the noise was even worse on the outside as Shinso and Okami watched with bated breath.
"It's been forty-five seconds," Okami said as he counted in his head, "You think they're o-" The blue blob suddenly exploded, splattering both Okami and Shinso in the slime. Shinso thankfully had the brainwashed student in front of him saving him from the worst of it. Okami, however, was unfortunate enough to be talking whilst it happened, getting an unhealthy amount of the stuff in his mouth and down his throat.
In fact, it was so nasty that Okami could no longer hold his wolf form and he collapsed to the ground, coughing up bits of the blue jello. It seemed that once the Quirk was disabled, the dissolving power also disappeared.
Tannin and Nayuki appeared seconds later, now seperated and similarly covered in the gunk, "This is so gross!"
"You think they've got a shower room here?"
"They better!" Okami chimed in weakly.

"Another four have…" Mera yawned loudly, "Passed. Only sixty-seven spots remain. Better hurry it up."
Kaito dove behind a tan outcropping of rock as cannonballs tore past him, "Seriously?! Who has cannonballs in their kneecaps?!" He had been separated from Vincent and Nikiya earlier, accidentally running into another Shiketsu student.
"You'll pay for what you did to Crimson!"
Kaito shouted back, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but defeating each other is kinda the point of this test!" He heard the signature clicking of the student's Quirk and used Black Burst to shoot over to a different spot. It was just in time too, since milliseconds later, the rock he was hiding behind was obliterated by the dark spheres.
The Black Swordsman was breathing heavily from continued use of his daggers and his lack of stamina had cost him two targets. On the other hand, he was now facing an opponent one on one and he only needed one more defeat to pass the first test.
He smiled in spite of himself. If his adoptive father saw him relying so heavily on the daggers when he had the sharpest strongest blade in existence, he would probably die of shame.
"Take your own advice," He said to himself, "Back to basics."
Drawing a deep breath he stood from behind the rocky cover and turned to face it, his opponent presumably on the other side. He closed his eyes and simply listened, his own beating heart echoing in his ears. Then, a clicking.
Kaito's eyes shot open, "Perfect Swordsman." The rock in front of him exploded, a black cannonball two feet away from him. But it, along with all the stone shrapnel, was dissected with one perfect slice.
Perfect Swordsman. It was less of a Super Move and more of a skill. It was all of his senses focused down to pinpoint accuracy, combined with his sword skills and perfect blade. It allowed him to match Vincent in terms of reaction speed and also allowed him to deliver a devastating blow.
A calm smile broke Kaito's face as he began strolling towards the cannonball launcher. The student desperately "reloaded" and fired out another two shots. Both were biscessted without any trouble. And again, and once more.
Now the boy was panicking as Kaito grabbed a rubber ball from his belt and held it aloft. The Black Swordsman was terrible with ranged weapons, his daggers didn't count, so he had to get up close and personal with his opponent, otherwise he risked an embarrassing point blank miss.
As it turned out, that was no trouble. By the time Kaito had reached the student, he was so off put by Kaito's calm approach that he didn't even resist when Kaito pressed the ball to the last target, signaling the victory of one more UA student.

Out of all of her classmates, it was arguable that Hirose was at the biggest disadvantage when it came to this test. She couldn't hold a ball in her hand whilst running, otherwise she would discharge her kinetic energy and therefore gain no speed. Which meant she had to make one surefire strike before being able to claim a victory.
One problem was going fast enough to make a surprise attack without killing her opponent. The other problem was that most of the students were traveling in packs, while she ran alone.
She was currently hiding behind a slab of concrete that, unbeknownst to her, had been colateral from Nayuki and Tannin's fight with the slime.
"She's right there!" A voice bellowed out.
Hirose wasn't sure how she knew, but she knew that the scream was directed at her. She took off at top speed and just in time. The concrete slab exploded into cube shaped bits.
Turning around, back in real time, she saw two students facing her. At least one of them had a detector Quirk, while the other had an attack Quirk that could shred concrete like paper. She thought about running to find her friends, but when alone, Hirose rarely cared to think about the consequences of her actions.
As such, she found herself sprinting at the group head on before she even knew she was doing it. "Oh well. I suppose it's as good a time as any to test that new move out," She thought to herself.
After experiencing Tannin's boost, she had gotten a bunch of different ideas on how to redirect her speed and velocity. One in particular stuck out to her in this situation. The two students were tightly grouped, making this the perfect test run.
Faster than the normal human eye could follow, Hirose was right next to the two enemies. She reached out to both at the same time. If she had done this before learning her new Super Move, only one would receive the full force of her Strikespeed Quirk, but now… now was different.
She clenched an imaginary muscle and held back her velocity release until she was sure she was in contact with both students. And then, "Velocity Diffraction."
Hirose's speed split itself into two parts, making the attack exactly what she had been hoping for. A speedy attack neither could see and an attack weak enough to leave said opponents alive.
With that, only nine more UA students needed to pass and there were still, "Fifty spots remaining."

"Ze just keep coming!" Wilhelm shot bolt after bolt at the steadily advancing wave of skeletal figures. Ashira and Emica stood behind him, unable to effectively use their Quirks against the undead.
Far away from the army stood a man in a dark robe, guarding the comrades that fell to Ashira and Wilhelm's tag team. His face was lost in deep concentration. It was likely taking all of his willpower to manifest so many undead with his Quirk.
The man was too far away for an accurate lightning strike and Wilhelm was too busy guarding the girls regardless. Every time Ashira activated her Quirk, the skeletons made a desperate push at her, forcing her back into her body. Emica on the other hand was having a bit of an easier time. As it turned out, the bracelets didn't just help contain her EMP power, they also helped her output it in extremely concentrated blasts. It was just enough to make a skeleton fall apart every now and again.
Wilhelm began backing up even further, "Forget zis! Vide range, hit zem all Emica!" The lightning user was beginning to feel the nerve damage from extended use of his Quirk and decided that Emica risking a wide scale EMP attack was the best course of action. It would put all of their gear and possibly the rest of the hero gear in the arena if the blast was big enough, out of commision. But as soon as the necromancer started panicking and targeted Emica, Wilhelm knew he had made the right decision.
Emica slipped off her bracelets and immediately, a huge dome of energy spread out from her, causing every single skeleton to collapse to the ground and dissolve. As it turned out, the man was controlling the dead through electric signals from his brain. The EMP wave disrupted all of those signals, ruining his control and announcing his defeat.

By the time Wilhelm, Emica, and Ashira reached the break room, only six of their classmates were missing and the available spots had narrowed down to forty.
Will and the others cheered upon seeing another three of their friends make it. But Wilhelm barely noticed. He was too busy fiddling with his gauntlets, trying to get them back to working fashion.
"That just leaves Vincent, Nikiya, Yosei, Kenichi, Aika, and Ryouji," Kaito said as he counted heads.
Will scowled, "Vincent better not pass."
MHA: 1-C
"So why did you follow me?" Vincent asked the shadow manipulator.
"Because we're friends, and I didn't want to leave you alone," Nikiya responded.
"Besides Shizuku, you seemed like the angriest on the island, then you immediately flipped your switch."
She shrugged, "I thought we already talked about this. I just got emotional, I didn't stop to think about how you had been pressured into the situation." Deftly moving her fingers she used her Shadow Quirk to move a piece of rubble and attract the attention of nearby students. "And trust me, I know a thing or two about being pressured into doing something you don't want to do." Each had one defeat, meaning these last three students should be their victory.
"Alright, you go behind them and-" But before Nikiya could finish her sentence, she was tackled to the ground by Vincent. Seconds later a bright light destroyed the ground they had been standing on.
Vincent pushed himself up, his body hovering over Nikiya, "New plan!"
But the girl was a little distracted, her dark skin overcome with a pink tint as she gazed up at Vincent, who sighed internally. "Definitely not the time for this."
He got to his feet, pulling Nikiya with him and looked at the guy who had shot the light attack, "You wanna take him? I'll handle his friends."
Nikiya nodded, desperately trying to get her head back in the game and turned to properly face off against her foe.
Vincent and his opponents stepped to the side, knowing that the fight between light and dark was way more than they could handle alone and they were right.
Almost immediately, balls of light shot from the man wearing a white cloak. But they never reached their target. Nikiya pushed her hands out and spikes of darkness speared the attacks, stopping them in their tracks and causing an explosion of energy.
Another wave of spikes rushed Nikiya's opponent, but the man stomped his foot, a blinding light surrounding him for a few brief seconds. He smiled, "We seem pretty evenly matched UA, so I'm not gonna hold back on this next attack."
Nikiya withdrew her shadows, "Fine by me."
The two mirrored each other, their hands spread out to their side. The respective energies of light and dark began pooling in their palms, forming pure spheres.
Then, they spoke. It was not a shouting declaration of war, rather a quiet contest of wills.
"Luminous Sun."
"Eclipsing Void."
The two balls of light and dark travelled quickly towards each other, their collision more calming than one would expect. For just a moment, the energies seemed to mix and mingle a Yin and Yang shape barely visible. Of course, a violent explosion occurred seconds later, sending waves of pressure emanating from the point of contact.
All parties involved, even Vincent and the two students he was fighting, went flying back, knocked senseless by the powerful exchange.
It was so powerful that Nikiya felt herself black out for just a second. When she regained her bearings, she looked around, only to notice that the man with the Light Quirk was nowhere to be seen. Vincent was kneeling next to her, concern on his face. When he saw she was lucid he spoke, "The other two are unconscious, but that other guy disappeared. Let's get their targets before he decides to come back."
Nikiya smiled wide at the face looking down at her, it seemed so gentle, so warm. She knew with certainty that he would never want to hurt her.

The last four, Aika, Ryouji, Yosei, and Kenichi ended up running into each other by chance after getting seperated. They happened to meet right inside the forest area just as they were beset by, "Ninjas?! That's so cool!"
Aika smacked Ryouji on the shoulder, "Not the time!"
Yosei spread her wings wide, prepared to fly, Kenichi grew his basic armor, and Aika activated her chessboard Quirk.
"They're from Seijin Academy."
"Wait… there's a literal ninja school for heroes?!" Ryouji leaped to the left as an energy shuriken slammed into the ground right next to him. He rapidly scribbled on his empty book, "Feathers Wind!" About a dozen feather quills rose from his pocket and hardened into arrow-like shapes. They shot after whoever had thrown the shuriken and seconds later two students fell from the tree, their bodies porcupined by the quills.
Kenichi took the only course of action he could think of and started literally punching trees. Aika and Yosei were at a disadvantage since they couldn't see their targets, so Kenichi decided to just start felling trees at random.
Another two crashed to the ground and Aika instantly froze them in place with her Quirk. Meanwhile, Yosei kept the pressure off her classmates by using her Fairydust to create dozens of illusions, "Forest of Deception."
The illusions were so numerous that the ninjas had trouble even picking a target and as such were ripe for the picking for both Ryouji and Kenichi.
Within no time at all, all the students were either unconscious or pinned down by Aika's Quirk. "Checkmate."
