If Doug was being honest with himself, this has to be one of the top 10 most painful moments in his life, both in an emotional and a physical sense. The tiny fist of the little girl who he just now learned was one of his twin daughters birthed from the woman he fell in love with years ago in Japan, Yori Yuriemoto, who was also the sister of his neighbor Emiko Williams.

Of course, this probably still would have hurt even if he had the Mask of Loki on but right now, it was best that he deals with this situation in his normal form. Falling to his knees, Doug looked up weakly to see Mitsu pulling her fist back and from the looks of it, she was shaking.

"MITSU!" Yori snapped at her daughter, who flinched at her mother's tone as Momo looked shocked at what had happened. Doug groaned as he got up before seeing Mitsu start to shake.

"All our life...w-we didn't even know who our dad was...and now, he's right here...right in front of us? Expecting us to welcome him in with warm arms?"

Yori's gaze softened. "Mitsu, please, it was my fault. I was scared that your grandfather would hunt him down and hurt him...I ran away. If you want to be mad, be mad at me!"

"I-Is it really you...Dad?" Momo whimpered as Doug felt his heart shatter. The twin's eyes peeked out of their bangs as they looked up at him with looks that were pleading he was real and not some cruel joke or illusion.

The man smiled weakly at the two little girls as he squatted down to their level. "Yeah...it's me. I guess I'm your Dad, huh? You two really take after me in the mischief department, huh?"

Sam couldn't help but chuckle, remembering the times he and Doug got into Prank Wars as children. It was all in harmless fun except for one time that they both agreed never to bring up again. Erma was shocked that the man she had always seen as an uncle was actually technically maternally related to her. It sort of made her head spin but then the two terror twins that had stolen her doll suddenly latched onto Doug as if their lives depended on it.

"D-Daddy..."

"W-Why didn't Mom tell us *hic* why didn't she tell us?" Momo hiccuped as Doug felt tears well up in his eyes before hugging them back and holding them tightly to his chest. The few people still around took pictures and videos of the adorable scene as Yori walked over to her daughters and sighed.

"Mitsu, Momo, I'm sorry. I was a coward to run away and hide the truth about your father from you. I know you can't forgive me, but..."

"Shut up, Mom...w-we're just happy to have Dad in our lives..." Mitsu whimpered as Yori didn't even bother getting mad at her.

After emotions were sorted out, everyone piled into Yori's Van, which was big enough to seat all of the family. Doug ended up sitting in-between his daughters and both of them were hugging close to his side. Not that he didn't mind being with the children he never knew he had but he was feeling a little uncomfortable since he could feel both Erma AND the Mask of Loki giving him looks.

"Guess you've already become the father of the year to those tykes, huh?" The Mask teased as Doug cringed only for Mitsu to grab it and hold it up to her face.

"So this thing turns you into some kind of crazy guy who acts like those American cartoon characters?"

"Pretty much sweetie, yeah."

"Cool! Can I try it?" Before Doug could stop her, Mitsu slapped the Mask onto her face, only for nothing to happen, much to his relief and her disappointment.

"I bet it doesn't like ya, Sis. Let me try!" Momo said as she snatched the artifact and put it up to her face, only for nothing to happen for her either.

"Dammit!"

"Language!" Both Yori and Doug snapped before looking at each other in surprise and bursting out laughing seconds later.

"Great, and just when we thought our Dad would be fun..." Grumbled Mitsu as Momo pouted in agreement, only for both of them to have their heads pet by Doug.

"Come on, chin up, girls! I can totally prove that I'm a fun guy to have around!"

"Just gotta let your Pops put me on first and then we can rock the joint!" The Mask stated in agreement. Meanwhile, Yori was talking with Emiko, who was sitting in the passenger seat.

"Speaking of which, you doing alright? I know you haven't talked to Dad since..."

"Since you helped me leave home? Yeah, I remember."

Yori gave a sideways glance. "Sorry I brought it up."

"Don't be."

"Wait, what happened? I'm not getting all the facts here yet. I know Yori helped you escape your Dad, Emiko, but is he really that bad?"

Emiko turned to give her technical brother-in-law a serious look. "Doug, my father is one of the most feared Yokai in the whole realm. One of the few things he fears is the Mask of Loki and you just so happen to have it on your person!"

Doug turned to the Mask in question, who just made a shrugging gesture with its form.

"Can you...tell me the whole story? Like, how did you and Sam first meet anyway?"

Emiko took a deep breath and then told Doug the whole story of her family life with Yori adding in some of her own two cents occasionally. Then, she told him about how she first met Sam as well as how Osamu kidnapped her to keep them separated only for Yori to rescue her and help her escape. Yori then added on that two years after Emiko escaped was when she bumped into Doug and they fell in love.

"Wow...your Dad sounds like a...how do I put this...A GRADE-A JALOPY JACKASS SCHMUCK!"

Mitsu and Momo ended up bursting out laughing and even the Mask and Erma got in some laughs.

"What kind of insult was that, pally?!"

Doug blushed awkwardly as even Yori, Emiko, and Sam couldn't help but get a chuckle in at his expense. Suddenly, something caught Erma's eye as she looked out the car window to see advertisements for Warrior Unicorn Princess. Her eyes began sparkling as she pressed her face to the glass.

"Looks fun, doesn't it? Hate to break it to ya, Cuz, but we're not sticking around anyplace that looks like this." Momo said as the poor girl immediately became downcast.

"I'll find a way to maybe steal some of that with Masky, sweetie. Don't worry about it too much" Doug assured his niece, who gave him a grateful smile.

"What kind of stuff have you done with the Mask so far, Pops?" Mitsu asked as Doug smirked and began to tell his tale.

"Well, what can I say, it all started with my birthday several months ago when I first moved into Blairwood...
