"No, really, the new hotel is coming along. I think the Keys are a perfect location. It'll be easy to check on our hotel in Miami too," Jamie said into her phone.

Octopussy was relaxing by the pool on the floating palace. "I'm glad to hear it. We're going to visit Miami in a few weeks. We'll come by the Keys too. Does that work for you?"

"Of course it does. Is Father available?"

"Hold on," Octopussy said. She leaned back towards their personal bar. "James, it's Jamie."

James wandered over to take the phone. "Hello, Jamie. How's paradise treating you?"

"Great, as always. I forgot to tell you I have a message from Felix. He wants you to know he's available for a fishing trip."

"Is he? Well, let him know we'll talk when we drop in for a visit. Oh, by the way, I heard from M."

"Didn't you tell them I'm not interested in joining the secret service?"

"Yes. He wanted to know if you'd reconsider. Again. The number 007is available."

Jamie smirked at the idea. "As touching as it would be to have your number, I still have no country. I have my family."

"I'll let him know he needs to stop calling me."

"Thank you," she parked outside a house on the beach. "I have to go. Tell Mother I love her, and I'll call her again in a few days."

"Will do."

"Talk soon. I love you."

"I love you too, Jamie. Have fun with Della."

Jamie hung up with a smile. James hung up with a smile as well. He joined Octopussy by the pool. "Jamie said she loves you and will call in a few days."

"If she doesn't get too distracted by Della," she responded.

"We'll be lucky if she calls in a week."

With a content laugh, they held hands. She glanced at him. "Happy?"

"Completely. I'm supposed to be here. It's unfortunate our daughter is so far away, but that's where she's supposed to be."

At the house on the beach, Della ran down the steps to greet Jamie. Jamie lifted her into her arms, and they shared a passionate kiss. Naturally, the moment was ruined when Felix rolled onto the porch.

"You two never stop for air, do you?" he asked.

"No," they said in harmony.

"Fair enough. Say, Jamie, I had a question for you."

"You can tell the CIA I'm still not interested in working with them. Della is the superstar CIA agent here," Jamie replied.

"They're going to keep bugging me until you break."

"Sorry, Uncle Felix. I won't break," Jamie answered.

He grumbled to himself on the way inside the house. The women took a peaceful walk on the beach. "How's the hotel?" Della asked.

"I just told my mother how great it's going. It'll be the nicest hotel down here. I am in unfamiliar territory, though. I've never stayed at one hotel in one spot before. I usually travel constantly. I'll still travel, of course, but I want to be here. With you."

"I want you here too," Della agreed. One kiss later, Della studied Jamie's face. "You're done with your life of crime, right? Only legitimate business now?"

Jamie grinned. "It's only a crime if you get caught, darling."
