"I don't care about Conner Kent!" Nellie shouted angrily slamming his fists down onto the desk. He'd find his sister when nobody else would.
Red grimaced, leaning in the doorway of the office room. He did everything he could to keep Nellie at bay while nothing helped. He could occasionally get Rachel to help him cool his jets. "He saved-"
"I DON'T CARE IF HE SAVED US FROM LEX LUTHOR! JASON TODD DOESN'T MATTER! ARE WE UNDERSTOOD?!" Nellie bellowed, flipping a switch. He was good at tracking people even with being connected, but he feared she might be dead.
Red flinched at the harsh words, "You can't say that! We've been searching all over for Dylan."
"WHAT HAS THAT FAKE ROBIN REALLY DUG UP? NOTHING! HE HELPED GET HER IN THIS MESS! NOW, SHE'S DEAD!" Nellie roared, refusing to let up on his temper. He couldn't believe Red was aiding Jason on the matter- considering how the stranger had gotten Dylan slung into the mess.
"Neville," Red hissed in a warning tone. He didn't know why the boy chose to be so agro. He took a few shaky breaths before speaking further, "I've been on that roof with Jason every night searching for her. She seems to have vanished off the earth. Can you not remember what she does?"
"Yes, but that doesn't give him a free pass. What if he knows something that she could have told him that he's keeping secret? Is he still refusing to speak?" Nellie coolly began to burden his older brother with questions.
Red rolled his eyes. The need to pinch the bridge of his nose was strong with this one. He found it evident that Nellie hadn't registered his advice about growing up. He also knew Dylan wouldn't up and disappear.
She is the reason- they found who they did when they did. Still, Red knew it hadn't been that much of a gesture to keep her around.
"Who's hungry? There's Pizza." Rachel uneasily stood in the doorway, holding up a plate. Her eyes fell to a miserable Nellie.
Red shook his head, turning the gooey delicious substance away. "My brother is having a mid-life crisis."
Nellie let his head, heavily collapse to the desk. "SHE'S DEAD!"
Rachel flinched, but moved to sit beside him. She placed the plate in front of him, softly rubbing his shoulder. "She can't be. Wouldn't she pop up in the news?"
"BATMAN!" Nellie shouted, raising his head. A sticky note was stuck to his forehead but no one mentioned it. His eyes eagerly went to the blue of hers.
Red was going to comment on how ridiculous the idea would be until the reflection of Jason Todd in the hallway got his attention. His face soured. If he had ended the punk sooner than the boy wouldn't have gotten Dylan kidnapped and Nellie wouldn't be in hysteria. He was watching the hesitant male who heard Batman and tensed causing the ginger to smirk.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!" Red beamed, reaching for Jason. He pulled the boy into the room by the ear, nearly piercing it in the process.
Jason glared at Red as if he would hit him. He refrained from doing so for the time.
"That scum is not needed. We need to speak to Batman. He'll help locate his d-" Nellie began to belt the truth until he caught Red raising an auburn eyebrow at him, "He'll help locate her."
"I'm his sidekick. He won't speak to you. You're just anybody even if you view me as scum." Jason snarkily spoke, nearly spitting in Nellie's face.
"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Jason! We've heard this a million times. You're the new Robin! Geesh, get over your narcissistic self!" Red chirped, motioning for the boy to get on board.
Rachel rolled her eyes at the idiots. "Rose can help."
"She's busy training with Dick. Again." Nellie said, waving off the satire idea. He did like the white haired, oriental girl.
"What about-?" Rachel went to ask as Red shot the idea down.
"She hit the streets with Donna again. What's with the slacking Titans?" Red voiced, earning a disgruntled look from Rachel and Jason.
Nellie stood, seizing up the plate of pizza. He'd force Jason to get them to Batman if he to. He could be just as cruel as Red. He wasn't afraid to fight for his family.
"We're wasting time! Pretty boy, let's go. You two are welcome to join or not. I need to know she isn't dead!" Nellie barked, making his way around the desk. He roughly shoved Jason to get walking who almost bowed up at him.
Red took into consideration that one good thing could come up with the travel. If they could locate Dylan than maybe- the ginger could rid; the universe of Jason Todd. He was one more unimportant person who couldn't make a difference. Licking his lips in pleasure of pain, he shot Rachel a curious look. "You gonna join?"
Rachel was uncertain, but eagerly nodded. She'd like to spend more time getting to know Dylan in the future. She saw glimpses of the brunette growing ill but quickly recovering, causing her curiosity to spike about her. She'd catch the young adult alone, staring off into space with eyes glazed over only for her to freak out a short time following. "Sure."
"What about Gar?" Nellie wondered as they chose a vehicle to ride in. He shoved Jason into the passenger side door, smirking at the anger radiating off of the other boy. He'd make the idiot pay for ditching his sister to get her killed.
Red frowned, offering Jason help yet the Robin chose to wave him off. Shrugging, he climbed into the backseat on the passenger side. He kept hearing the unnerving rants in Nellie's head louder than the other two.
Rachel slid into the middle so Gar could take the left opening. She buckled up, copying the safe action of Red. She was curious as to what he was thinking, because the feel she got from him; consisted of deadly calm anger. Y'know? The kind that builds until you break.
Rachel also sensed sadness about Red as her hand lightly grazed over his.
"We're going to threaten Batman! Neville doesn't see his blind stupidity, but his heart is in the right place." Red directed his explanation to Gar as the engine reeved.
"What's up with J-?" Gar began when Rachel shook her head to cut the green haired boy off.
"He's in a sour mood. He ditched my sister, but doesn't want to spill anything. So he is helping us with Batman whether he likes it or not." Nellie seethed, gripping the steering wheel as if the thing would rip from place.
Gar worriedly glanced to Red, "Has he gone insane?"
Red slightly agreed, "I think so."
They were shooting down the highway almost ending in a crash.
