"Nathan!" I yelled, getting up and running to him.

"Hey, back off." Nathan sidestepped me, pushing me to the wall.

"Its been so long!"

"Yeah yeah." Nathan sat down at the table next to ours. I returned to my seat. "What are you doing in Castelia?" Nathan asked.

"I'm um." I hesitated.

"He's challenging the pokemon league," Bianca spoke up. Nathan gave me a long look.

"Did Juniper give you a pokemon?"

"Yeah." He made an annoyed sound. Ron came out from around the counter, carrying two large plates. I looked at Bianca. Ron set the plates in front of Bianca and me.

"Here you go," Ron said, breathless. Each plate had a large square-shaped cone filled with several flavored ice cream and toppings.

"What is this?" I asked.

"The mega something or another," Bianca said. Ron chuckled, stepping over to Nathan's table.

"Hey, Nathan what can I get you?" Bianca started digging into her ice cream. Nathan ordered a vanilla cone and opened a small blue device. I glanced over his shoulder, the display was similar to that of a pokedex. It showed a list of pokemon with information on them. I slowly followed the list with my eyes: Pignite, Snivy, Audino, Tirtuoga… Nathan turned the device off.

"Andrew," Nathan looked up at me. "You've become a strong trainer, haven't you?"

"Yeah."

"How's Cheren? Did his parents treat you well?"

"They did." Nathan nodded. The door opened again. Nathan and I looked up. It was Kenya. Kenya walked across the shop, apparently not noticing me. Darumaka scampered in behind her. Kenya hopped onto one of the booth stools.

"Hey, its that girl." Bianca tugged at my shirt.

"I know." Ron stepped out. Giving Nathan his cone. Kenya looked over her shoulder at us. Bianca waved. Kenya turned away.

"Did something happen between you two?" Bianca asked. "Andrew, your ice cream is melting!" Ron walked over to the booth and started talking with Kenya. Kenya laughed. Ron patted her on the shoulder and walked away. Did they know each other too? I looked down at my large ice cream monstrosity. "You should say something." Bianca waved her hand in my face. I noticed her ice cream was almost gone.

"Are you sure?" Nathan asked. I didn't answer. I looked over at Kenya and picked up my plate. Darumaka watched me closely as I carried the plate over to Kenya. I set the plate down in front of Kenya.

"Hey," I said. "What's up with you?"

"What's this?" Kenya looked the plate over. "Looks like some kind of trap."

"It's an offering or something."

"A what, now?"

"Whatever, just tell me what's up. You kind of abandoned me."

"You didn't want me around. I'm not dense you know."

"Maybe. But I guess I do now."

"You guess what."

"I guess I'd like to have you around." Kenya raised an eyebrow.

"I thought I annoyed you."

"I never said that."

"You didn't have to say it, I could feel it in the way you acted."

"Well, I want you around." I was running out of things to say. "I miss you."

"Hi, lady." Bianca walked over. I glanced over to our tables, Nathan was gone.

"I have a name," Kenya scowled.

"What is it?" Bianca asked. "I'm Bianca." Kenya rolled her eyes.

"I guess you have a good a memory as Andrew does."

"What do you mean I have a bad memory?"

"Andrew." Kenya hopped off her stool. "Meet me on route 4 tomorrow morning."

"Planning to head to Nimbasa?" I asked.

"I want to battle you." Kenya picked up Darumaka and left.

"She seemed upset," Bianca said.
