Tornan Dreams

It was night time, and all of Torna was asleep.

On one bed, we see Mikhail having a very content look on his sleeping face. What could he be dreaming about?

"Do you, Mikhail, take Patroka as your lawfully wedded wife? Love her in sickness and in health, till death do you part?" Said Malos who was wearing a white robe that the priests of Indol wear.

"I do." Said Mikhail in a wedding suit.

Malos nodded at hearing that, "Do you, Patroka, take Mikhail as your lawfully wedded husband-" "Yes, now can we get this over with?" Patroka interrupted impatiently in her wedding dress. It was nothing too extravagant, mostly just a simple white dress that bared her shoulders. And Mikhail was really savoring the sight, because this may very well be the only time he gets to see Patroka in a dress.

Malos shook his head with a chuckle before replying, "Very well. By the power vested in me by pops, I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." With those words, Mikhail lifted the veil over Patroka's face and the two shared a kiss. And then it was time for the newlywed couple to move.

"Whoa!" Mikhail let out as he was suddenly picked up by Patroka in a bridal carry.

"Don't start complaining now," Patroka said mock threateningly, "We agreed that I would be the one to do the carrying." With those words, Patroka started carrying her husband out of the church and into the burning Alrest. All the while Jin and Akhos were clapping at the newlyweds while Akhos was also laughing at Mikhail being the one carried.

In the waking world, Mikhail looked like the happiest man alive. "Anything for you…darling," Mikhail muttered in his sleep.

Then we move to Patroka who looked to be frowning for some reason. What could the violent black-haired beauty be dreaming about?

"Urgh, why won't it get clean!" Patroka cried out as she was furiously rubbing at a particular spot on Crocea Mors. "Finally." Patroka then said as she finally managed to shine the blade enough to see her own reflection from it. Satisfied with her work she put the sword into its sheath before placing it back into the rack that held all the weapons of her fallen enemies. It was quite a collection too, a red scythe that was also a gun, A multi-action Dust rapier, a black katana which can be used as a gun while the sheath acts as a cleaver, yellow gauntlets with built in shotguns, a javelin that can turn into a shortsword and a rifle, two green guns with blades at the front, a hammer that can turn into a grenade launcher, a handbag that turns into a minigun, a staff that turns into gun-chucks and many others.

"The humans of this world are the same as the ones in Alrest, but they're very creative with the weapons they make." Patroka said in satisfaction as she admired her vast collection.

In the waking world, Patroka now had a satisfied smile.

Moving on, we see Akhos who had taken off his glasses to sleep.

The play was now finished, and all the actors came to the stage to give one last bow to the cheering audience. Once the cheering died down, the lead actor stepped forward with a microphone in hand.

"Thank you for coming to this wonderful show." The lead actor said with a deep bow, "I would suggest one more big applause for our wonderful cast, and most importantly, the writer of this play. Give it up for Akhos!" With those words, the audience cheered louder as Akhos stepped onto the stage while waving at the audience before accepting the mic.

Akhos cleared his throat before speaking, "Thank you! Thank you! I have to say writing this play was my passion, and it brings me great joy to see you all enjoying it. And I must also give my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful cast who were able to make this play possible." The black-haired member of Torna seemed to be on the verge of tears as he said the next part, "I…never in my wildest dreams did I imagine my plays could have this kind of popularity. Thank you so much you wonderful people!" At the end of his little speech, the audience once again cheered and applauded alongside the cast.

In the waking world, Akhos let a few happy tears in his sleep, "Thank you…Thank you so much."

Then we move to Malos who had a small smirk.

Malos looked down upon the world of Remnant as his army of Gargoyles was blasting upon the world, destroying any and all human settlements on the planet.

"At last my full power has been restored! Now I can end this wretched world!" Malos said with his arms spread inside his black Siren. His Amethyst cross that was his Core Crystal shining with power. Once he was sure that all the humans of Remnant had been wiped out, he landed his Artifice on the surface of what used to be Vale. Now it was only a glassed crater.

"Malos! What were you thinking?! You almost wiped me out too!" Cinder cried out in outrage, earning a surprised look from Malos.

"…That was the idea." Malos said uncaringly.

"What?" Cinder said in disbelief.

"Do I need to spell it out, my purpose is to destroy humanity. That includes you." Malos said with a smirk.

"You monster!" Cinder cried out as she blasted Malos with a huge fireball.

"Pathetic." Malos replied as he replied with a blast of dark Ether. Malos' attack easily powered through Cinder's and into the false maiden herself. The dark Aegis smirked as the arrogant woman screamed while her body disintegrated.

In the waking world, Malos had a wide smirk, "Now…Alrest is next."

Finally, there was Jin who looked strangely peaceful. What could the stoic leader of Torna possibly dream about?

Jin entered the house, knowing that he can't avoid this threat forever. "I'm home!" Jin said loudly, bracing himself as several sets of footsteps were heard. And then he saw them, a horde of children.

"Uncle Jin!" the children said loudly before running to Jin and trying to climb all over the Paragon of Torna.

As some of the children were about to reach his neck, a commanding voice was heard from further in the house, "Kids! Leave uncle Jin alone." The kids let out groans of disappointment, but complied.

"Thank you, Lora," Jin said with a smile to his Driver who gave the kids a stern look.

"What do you say kids?" Lora then said to the horde of munchkins who looked to the man in remorse.

"I'm sorry." was the chorus that made Jin smile a little.

"It's alright."

"Alright kids, I believe uncle Dragunov is outside right now," Lora said with a devious look.

And then the kids ran off to become the problem of the Firestorm instead. Which also allowed Jin to properly approach Lora. "…How have you been?" Jin asked with a small smile, "I hope you haven't pushed yourself."

"Oh, don't worry about me," Lora said while patting her slightly distended stomach proudly, "I'm not exactly invalid."

"Where is Thauron?" Jin then asked, noting that Dragunov's Driver wasn't here.

"Oh, he should be back with the dinner ingredients soon," Lora said with a happy smile. Something that made Jin smile too.

"You sound happy," Jin pointed out.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Lora asked with a mildly confused look before looking a little down, "…I wonder if I'm asking too much of him. I mean…I'm happy to have a child of my own, but…what if that makes me love the others less. Or what if he can't handle running an orphanage."

"Lora." Jin said while placing a hand on his Driver's shoulder, "Thauron said it himself, he became a big brother to the orphans at the orphanage where we left him all those years ago. Besides, the way I see it he has done everything in his power to make you happy, because that is what makes him happy."

"You're right." Lora said with a smile before frowning, "If he and I were still alive."

At that moment Jin woke up with a jolt. Sitting up on his bed, Jin looked around before frowning. "Oh…right." Then he remembered that Thauron never got to hear Lora's answer, and that Lora would never have the happiness that he dreamed of just now.

"Patroka…save that until our honeymoon." Jin heard Mikhail mutter in his sleep earning a quirked eyebrow from the silver haired man. "Ow!" And then the silver haired man winced as Patroka's weapon hit the sleeping blonde flat in the face. Althought the weapon's owner was still asleep with a deep scowl for some reason.

The silver haired man almost chuckled at the humor of this situation, but he could never feel as happy as he did when he dreamed of the life that never was.

Modeling

Dahlia was right in front of a fountain with her hands behind her head, her massive chest out, and with one leg hooked a little.

"Next one." Velvet said after taking several pictures from different angles.

Dahlia then bent forward with one hand on her chin and the unoccupied one on her hip, but she made sure to position her arm in a way that pressed her breasts together ever so slightly.

Once again, Velvet took pictures from all possible angles.

"So, you said that Coco wanted these photos on a fashion magazine?" Dahlia said as she was instructed to switch positions again.

"Yes, she said that it would help bringing humans and faunus closer." Velvet said as she took the next set of photos.

"I don't see how it would do that, but I'm happy to help with what little thing I can." Dahlia said right before Velvet signaled that it was enough.

"Thank you so much Dahlia," Velvet said happily, "This should help a lot."

"Like I said, I'm happy to help," Dahlia said with a warm smile. With that, Velvet ran off with her pictures of the sexy bunny lady.

Dahlia shook her head before walking to the other direction. But she came across a puzzling sight. Velvet was walking from that direction with Coco. The poor rabbit girl looked distraught for some reason.

"Is something wrong Velvet?" Dahlia asked the rabbit faunus.

"I can't find my camera," Velvet said, resisting a hiccup.

"What?" Dahlia asked with a confused look, "But you just used it to take pictures of me."

That earned a confused look from Velvet and Coco. The fashionista leader of CFVY then lowered her shades to give weird eyes on Dahlia, "Dahlia, Velvet has been with me all day and she hasn't had her camera since this morning."

"But if that wasn't you with the camera then who was it?" Dahlia asked before a terrifying thought crossed her mind. "WU!"

Some ways away, the monkey Blade was marveling at the sexy pictures he had taken of Dahlia, his Velvet disguise having worn off. "Once I copy these pretties, I can make a small fortune." Then he started having a very goofy look and licked his lips. "Oh, the sweet sweet peaches I can buy." Stealing would be easier, but he had to keep a low profile. Besides this gives him less problems later, than getting police on his tail.

Wu's daydreaming was cut off when a familiar clawed hand came from behind him and yanked the pictures from his hand. "What the-!?" Wu exclaimed as he turned around just in time to see Nox tearing the pictures to shreds. This earned a heartbroken look from Wu, "Why?"

"Because I have not forgotten how you tried make money off of my lady's body." Nox showed on his scroll with a cross glare.

"Oh come on, that was me using her appearance." Wu complained.

"And that makes it better how?" Nox's pupil then began to slowly turn into an X.

"Whoopsie. Time to run," Wu then said before doing an about face and running off. Or he would have if Nox didn't manage to grab his tail and yank. The monkey turned to give the dark ninja a glare, "Really? Yanking my tail?"

Nox didn't answer but extended one hand to Wu while still holding onto the tail. Wu stared at the hand that was in a position as if the dark Blade expected to receive something. "Oh. Right." Wu said as he placed the camera he was still holding into Nox's hand. Then the moment Wu placed the camera on Nox's waiting hand he jabbed at the ninja's throat, making him let go of the silver furred tail. "So long, sucker!" Wu hollered before making a huge puff of smoke and disappeared as Nox recovered from the disorienting hit.

Unfortunately, Nox couldn't tell where Wu disappeared to so he instead moved to return Velvet's camera. All the while imagining feasting on monkey stew the next time he saw the trickster.

Dangerous Garden

In Salem's Castle, Watts was moving through a hall looking for Tyrian. Salem had something to talk to him about. Which was why he was moving towards a room that Salem had granted their newest member, for Watts had heard that Tyrian liked to spend his time with his new pet.

Watts knocked on the door that would lead to the room. "Tyrian, Salem wants to speak with you." No answer came, which was strange. Usually Tyrian would be scampering out when he heard his goddess had something to say to him. "Tyrian?" Watts called out again and then he entered the room. Only to get a shock of a lifetime.

Watts didn't know this, but the room he entered was a large garden. However, Salem had no interest in gardening so this place had remained mostly unused. But now, this place had neat walkways that circled several large flowerbeds with beautiful flowers and a very tempting scent.

Botany wasn't Watts' field of expertise, but he had to admit this made him forget that they were in Grimmlands. Looking up the roof, Watts noticed several lights on the roof that mimicked sunlight…

"Come to think of it, Tyrian did say Scorax wanted lamps like this." Watts commented, now remembering making some. Beyond those, was the glass roof where he could see the dreadful sky where the real Sun never shines. Then Watts turned to look towards a large flowerbed that probably stretched all along that wall. "Did that Blade do all of this by itself?"

This kind of thing was a marvelous in itself. Then, Watts saw a particular flower among the many colorful and curiously shaped ones. The scientist looked around, "Surely it won't notice one of them missing." With that audible thought, Watts moved towards the flower that was at the edge of the flowerbed. Not noticing some of the flowers further in the bed shifting ever so slightly.

Watts then kneeled down and reached to pick-up the flower, which he upon closer inspection recognized as a belladonna. Only for his movement to stop at the sound of energy being charged. This caused the doctor to look up at where it was coming from.

"Oh dear." Was the thought he had when he was staring into the barrel of Scorax's tail cannon which was charging energy to fire on the doctor's face. Watts slowly moved his eyes downwards to see the tail coming from within the flowerbed. Strangely, he didn't see Scorax itself. Until he thought he saw something shiny, right behind the flower he was about to pick up.

It took him a moment to realize that the shiny things were Scorax's eight beady eyes staring at him from between the flower stems. How that thing was able to hide within the flowers like that was beyond the disgraced scientist. But the more pressing matter was Scorax aiming its cannon tail at Watts' head, and he was pretty sure that the beady eyes were glaring at him.

Then the thing let out several slow clicks with its fangs.

"Hands off my flowers." That voice made Watts actually jump to his feet before he turned around to see Tyrian giggling at him. "It said."

Watts didn't realize that Scorax was still aiming its partially charged cannon at his head when he went off on Tyrian. "Why didn't you answer the door?! Salem wants to speak with you!"

That made Tyrian's smile fall. "Well why didn't you say so?! I was so engrossed with Scorax playing around in the flowers so happily."

"I'm sorry what?" Watts had an uncomprehending look at that arachnoid like monster playing in the field of flowers. Least of all happily.

"I suggest you leave, Scorax doesn't like you right now." Tyrian said before moving to leave the garden.

Watts gave a glance to Scorax and by extension the cannon that was still threatening to blast him. Then his green eyes locked with the top-most pair of Scorax's beady eyes. It was unnerving to see those things coming out of such beautiful garden. "Alright, alright! I'm leaving." Watts finally snapped as he moved out the door. Only after the scientist left, did Scorax's cannon stop charging and retreat into the flowers. Careful as to not damage them in any possible way.

Then Scorax's beady eyes also retreated into the flowers and it resumed happily crawling around in its flowerbed. Somehow only slightly shifting some of the flowers occasionally. All these wonderful flowers it was able to grow from seeds took some hard work and determination. Especially with the poorly tended soil. And it would be damned before some bush-faced meatbag was taking any.

AN: Yup! Only two chapters in the main fic and I'm already making one of Tyrian's Blade. To those who don't know the game: One of Scorax Field Skills is Botany. In the game, it increases the odds of finding rare flowers. But here it reflects the scorpion Blade's love for flowers.

As for the Tornans, yeah I basically took their "hobbies" and used them. For Mikhail, it was obvious. For Patroka, for those who don't know, her name in Japanese audio is Benkei. Benkei is a character in many Japanese tales, one of which where he took weapons of the enemies he defeated. For Akhos, he likes to write plays, so it was obvious that he would dream about one of them being successful. Malos... do I even need to say? Lastly Jin: Just seeing Lora alive and happy.
