"Lunch is next!" Darla grinned and ran down the hall. She was starving. After she got out of line, she saw Enid. Darla wanted to check on her.
"Hey, you doing okay?" Darla asked. Enid jumped as if she didn't know Darla was there. A big smile was on her face.
"I wrote a letter to my parents, and they finally see how much this school sucks!"
"Huh?" Darla wondered. Enid face palmed.
"I'M FINALLY GETTING OUT OF THIS SCHOOL TODAY!" Enid yelled in her face.
"Y-you are?" Darla asked. She was happy for her, but a little sad. Darla was hoping she could have spent more time with Enid.
"That's right!" Enid smiled.
"Er...what time are you leaving?"
"After our special class. Why'd you ask?"
"No reason." Darla sighed. Darla moved over to Tanis's table, to eat with her real friends.
"Where were you?" Elsa asked.
"Yeah!" Tanis agreed, "That line didn't look too long."
Darla sighed and began to tell them what happened.
"Ohh." Elsa, Tanis, Sibella, and Winnie realized.
"So why were you sad?" Tanis asked.
"The truth is...I wanted her to be happy, but I didn't to want her to leave. I wanted to be friends with her." Darla answered. The others didn't say anything for the rest of lunch.
