Magical Blood

Chapter Ten

As she left the Slytherin common room her heart pounded. She'd changed her clothes with a tap of her wand but kept her highlights she was quite found on them.

"Mia," whispered Draco.

"I'm nervous," she muttered.

"Weasel and Potter?" he asked.

She nodded. "I'm not a fan of being in the spotlight. So, if everyone knows and their all looking at me and talking about me."

"I know you won't like it," said Draco. "You like it at our wedding."
"I wasn't focused on anyone but you," smiled Hermione.

"On a different note I love what you're wearing," he smirked. "Very Slytherin."

She blushed and looked down. When transfiguring her clothes, she didn't really think she just did. When she looked, she realised that she had created a very Slytherin outfit.

An emerald green dress that had thin straps with a silver embroidery trim around the top and the bottom. Her feet were encased in sliver ballet flats. The only jewellery she wore were her wedding and engagement rings.

"I'm going to head straight to the room," she mumbled.

"If you put it off it will be worse," he muttered.

"I know but it's Saturday and I want to have pancakes with my husband in private," she whispered.

"Pancakes?" he asked.

"Pancakes, chocolate sauce and strawberries," she smiled. "Besides breakfast is over."

"Ok. Breakfast in the room. Lunch and dinner in the Great Hall," he said.

"It's Saturday," she said. "Hogsmeade?"

"Mrs Malfoy are you asking me out on a date?" he asked.

"Maybe," she smiled, before she disappeared down the hall.

He smirked and headed after her head down, listening out for an hint that their secret had been exposed.
