Inside David's Mind:

Deep inside a representation of his son's mind, the Professor found himself and Marvel Girl floating in the depths of a blue landscape. They looked around them, searching for Legion's psyche, but found nothing. "We must dig deeper," Charles said, "He wouldn't try and hide on the surface. He'd be in David' subconscious mind."

FLASH

It was darker here, for certain. The only 'light' around them was a soft glow.
"How do we find him in all this blackness?" Marvel girl asked.

"We don't. Not with our eyes. Use your mind to dig," Charles said, "Lift the hidden thoughts gently, like I've taught you."

The two of them shuffled through David's subconscious, like rifling through stacks of paper. Thought after thought, millions of them, like a swarm. In reality, it would take them hundreds of billions of years to search, but here in the depths of the boys mind, it took less than seconds. Just there! A faint green glow appeared. They floated towards it and it changed shape as Legion. He was distracted by the team. He didn't see them coming.

Charles locked on to him mentally, holding the figment still on the mental plane.
"Jean, you start," Charles said, "I'll hold him still and help you once enough of him is gone. He can't fight of the team and fight us too."

"I'm working on it, but he's fighting me..." Jean strained.

If Charles had, had a body, he would've stiffened. This was his only chance-again-to get his son back. He had failed miserably the first two times. He wasn't about to let his boy slip through his fingers and out of his life again to this madman. Charles tightened his mental grip on Legion's form.

"There! It's...getting...better..." Jean said slowly. Legion's mental form was disappearing, little by little. It was going to take considerable effort to destroy him all at one time.
