Well, Steven Universe may be gone for good, but this account will be posting SU until I literally don't have the time for it anymore (collage probably).
Anyways, enjoy.

-=Moments Later=-
Pearl could be seen flying away from Steven, the hybrid having just thrown her, and before she even had the chance to land, he rushed her and slammed his bare fist into her gut, pushing her into the ground with the force of the attack. "You're pathetic as usual, why don't you fuse with Garnet? Seems to be the only way you'll ever be stronger."
The skinny Gem didn't bother to respond to his taunts as she struggled to her feet, knowing she had to keep his attention on her. Once she got close enough, the white Gem swung her blade at his chest, only for the Diamond to catch it with his gauntleted hand and swing her over his head, slamming her back onto the ground as she refused to let go of her end of the weapon.
"You're not putting your all into this fight." He accused as he grabbed her by the neck and lifted her into the air. "Then you have nobody else to blame but yourself for this." He grinned as he summoned his arm blade, though before he even got the chance to get a proper aim on her gem, he found himself being wrapped up by the speeding ball that is Amethyst's spin-dash, the monarch's weapon-equipped hand now bound as he dropped Pearl.
"Sorry man, can't have you offing P." The purple Quartz spoke with a grin, though he just looked unamused. "Ya know, for a Diamond and all, it was pretty easy to get you all tied up, are you sure you're putting your all into this fight?" She teased with a chuckle.
Steven's attention was going to her on the surface, but his focus was mostly on reading the Gem energy of the battlefield, as he knew they wouldn't attack if they though he was trapped. "Spinel just finished off the last of their forces, Pearl is still recovering from my last attacks, Amethyst is standing before me, and the fusion-" He finally found her energy that she was doing moderately well to suppress, and she was coming right for him from the sky with her arm cocked back and he gauntlet out.
Of course Steven wouldn't just sit there and take the attack, so he summoned a shield between them before summoning both of his gauntlets, which allowed him to break free from his bindings. Garnet propelled off of the shield before he could dissipate it and make her fall towards him with less control, though he was quick to summon his flat blade in place of his gauntlets, the hybrid charging towards the biggest threat on the battlefield at the moment.
"So fusion, I must ask: where is the Lapis? She seems to not be present, making you the strongest rebel here, which is just sad for the rebellion as a whole." He spoke as he went to slice her in half by her waistline, though she jumped over the large weapon and sent a kick towards his head which he easily dodged.
"Lapis isn't here, but you should focus on your current opponents." Garnet said with a smug smile as he was restrained with multiple scraps of metal, this bringing Peridot to the limelight as she struggled to hold him.
Bismuth was the next to attack, the large Gem who was still wearing her armor from the wedding, turning her hand into a mallet which she planned to slam into his head, though only enough to knock him unconscious. Steven easily tore through the metal with a spiked bubble which Bismuth narrowly avoided by going limp and tumbling to the floor.
Once Steven's bubble was gone, Pearl went to attack him again, this just being an annoyance at this point, as Steven easily caught her spear right before it touched him, the monarch pulling her towards himself and going for a head-butt, but thankfully Pearl was able to avoid damage to her gem by moving her head up a little, which unfortunately just resulted in him hitting her nose.
Next was another attempt on Amethyst's behalf, or at least he thought it was just her, as when the Gem charged him, he found himself wrapped in metal once again, though this time, it was reenforced by the purple Gem's whip. "Steven, this is for your own good." Garnet spoke as she cocked her arm back again, hoping to hit her target this time, only for a smaller diamond-shaped shield to appear right in front of his face, causing her to punch it instead, though to his surprise, she was able to make a few small cracks.
"Alright, I see what you're all doing: you're not trying at all, are you?" He spoke with a spiteful glare, the hybrid ripping through the metal and whips with hardly any more struggle than he did with either alone. "Maybe I need to remind you the severity of the situation you are in right now."
Before anyone could stop him, he charged Peridot, the smaller Gem suddenly finding herself with his hand around her throat. "Maybe you need a reminder of what I almost did to your Amethyst last time." Steven grinned, his pink eyes starring right into Peridot's as he summoned his arm blade once again, the teen then thrusting it through her chest, resulting in the green Gem proofing immediately, allowing him catch her gem mid-air.
"Steven, don't!" Garnet warned, the fusion jumping at him and slamming her fist into his side, which resulted in the hybrid being sent flying across the field and dropping the gemstone. Pearl was the next to speak up. "Garnet, be more careful! Honestly, you could've finished the job right there instead of breaking his rib cage!"
The fusion glanced back over to where he landed, hoping he would get back up, and after a few seconds, she got what she wanted. The hybrid had a grin as he held his hand against his side. "Hehe, looks like you're taking this more seriously then? Well now that you've seen me recover from even that, I suggest you keep it up!" Steven shouted as he ran right for her with his arm cocked back to show he was going in for a punch.
Garnet was quick to toss Peridot's gemstone in the general direction of her teammates before attempting to catch his attack, though he quickly switched up on her and ducked down, sweeping her legs out from under her with his leg before standing back up and thrusting his fist into her chest, the attack sending her to the ground on her back with enough force to crack the surprisingly hard ground beneath her. "Your future vision is as weak as ever!"
Amethyst went to try and stop him, opting to use another spin-dash attack, but Steven hardly had to do anything to stop this, the monarch using her momentum against her and slamming his foot into her stomach which resulted in her getting pinned to the ground. Garnet was just recovering when she looked up to see his arm blade approaching the gem of the Quartz who was under his foot, but thankfully she was able to move him at the last second, though it didn't stop him from striking Amethyst's neck and poofing her.
"Pearl, come retrieve Amethyst's gem, Bismuth, help me out here!" Garnet instructed as she began a barrage of punches, each one being either pushed aside or dodged by Steven, who seemed to just be having the time of his life at the moment.
Spinel was propped up on her scythe as she just watched the fight with the gemstone of a random rebel, the pink Gem focusing on her Diamond's fight with hearts in her eyes. "Isn't he just amazing?" She spoke dreamily to the Gem despite them being without a form. "Too bad you all want to fight against homeworld, he really is a great Diamond." She spoke with a shrug as she bubbled the gem before sending it into the ship.
Spinel had been playing eny, meeny, miny, moe, shattering every other Gem who was unfortunate enough to be picked after she bubbled the last one. "Let's see, eny, meeny, miny, moe," She began as, picking the first gem to catch her eye each time. "my-Diamond-told-me-to-pick-the-best-one-and-you-are-not-it." She said in a singsongy voice, picking up the gemstone she landed on and crushing it in her fist. She knew she couldn't do this with every one of them due to their lack of time, but she just wanted to have her fun while her Diamond had his.
Back with Steven, he was now fending off both Garnet and Bismuth, summoning smaller diamond-shaped shields each time one would attack, the teen eventually fighting back and push kicking the latter in her stomach, putting a sizable dent in her armor as she went flying good thirty feet away.
Garnet didn't let this distract her though, the fusion not holding back on her continuous barrage, neither Gem faltering from this point forward, but only one of them getting the upper hand, and as you would imagine, it was the Diamond the second he went from defensive to offensive, the teen moving to the side of an attack and punching her in the back of the head, and once she went falling to the ground, he slammed his knee into her stomach.
Of course Bismuth had her back, the grey Gem coming back to hit him with one of her mallet hands, only for him to slide out of the way, grab her by her hair from behind, summon his arm blade, and before anyone could even shout 'no' he thrusted his weapon into her back, resulting in it coming out the other side and breaking her gem in two.
Pearl watched in horror as tears came to her eyes while Garnet struggled to her feet. "B-Bismuth..." The fusion spoke through gritted teeth. "Steven, why?...You shattered her!" She shouted out in rage before rushing towards him, and before Pearl could try to calm her, Steven did so for her by simply summoning a gauntlet and decking her in the face with enough force to send her flying nearly a hundred feet away.
"Honestly, if you cared so much for her, you wouldn't have put her in this position." Steven spoke with a shrug as he stood over Bismuth's remains, the hybrid holding his foot over her gem before he felt a heavy blunt force hit him in the back of the head, the last thing he heard was Spinel shout his name out before he fell unconscious.
Everyone looked behind him, surprised to see Connie standing there with a large stone that new had a bit of blood on it. "Y-You said he can heal, right?" She asked worriedly as she looked at the blood.
"Connie!" Pearl shouted out as she ran towards the human she was training and embraced her. "Connie, h-how did you even get here?!" The motherly Gem asked, only for the sword wielding girl to motion to Lion who was just sitting a few feet away, the feline obviously bored.
"He brought me maybe a mile away from here and got me behind Steven quietly seeing as he can't sense organics...though I didn't really want to do that, but he wasn't leaving me much of a choice here." She sighed as the back if his head glowed, signifying that she was healing up from the attack.
"Right, we should collect him and-" Pearl began before she heard a voice shout out to them. "Hey! Back away from him!" Spinel shouted as she used her stretchy leg to kick Pearl in the face, cracking her gem upon impact, though she remained in one piece, even if she was sent flying maybe fifteen feet away.
Connie pulled out her sword but she met a similar fate as Spinel set her foot down and used the momentum from that fifty foot step to slam her fist into the human's gut, sending her to the floor in pain. Once the pink Gem was standing over her, she lifted her up by the front of her shirt and angrily through her towards Pearl, the Gem catching her student before she could hit the floor.
"Take one step closer and I'll kill you!" She screamed with tears in her eyes as she spun her scythe around, refusing to take one step away from his limp form, knowing that if she did, the rebels would use that opening. Spinel was of course upset at the moment, and if it wasn't for the fact that they were after Steven, Connie would be in too many pieces to count and the Gems would be a fine dust, but she was able to keep her cool enough to know her priorities, Steven came above all else.
"Garnet, we need to leave, you're not in the right headspace." Pearl urged as the fusion collected the two halves of her fallen friend and bubbled them.
At the moment, Garnet had already been convinced that Steven was gone and her anger was blinding her, memories of her and Bismuth came rushing back as finishing Steven became more reasonable, but after that thought crossed her mind, she was horrified that she would even think that for so much as a second. "R-Right, we should cut our losses."
They went to leave, Pearl still carrying a damaged Connie, but before they could get far, everyone dropped to their knees as they gripped their heads, even Spinel seemed upset, the smaller Gem just wrapping herself around Steven while crying as her head throbbed in pain.
-=Steven's Mindscape=-
-=Moment's Before=-
Steven stood up in the dark void, rubbing the back of his head. "What the hell was that? I was reading all the Gem energy in the are-" He froze as he saw the many Gems presented before him, most of them being poofed other than Garnet, Pearl, and Spinel, but the two beings that weren't Gems is what gave away what happened: Lion and Connie.
"I see, so the organic did this?" He spoke with venom in his voice before he realized where he was. "Heheh, wait a second, did these rebels just give me access to the mindscape? This is what they wanted?" He just chuckled slightly as he floated up into the air and held his open palm forwards. "Guess I'll have to keep the fight up from within here."
The hybrid closed his eyes as his pink aura enveloped the remaining beings as he sent out attacks on their psyche. He was pushing all their insecurities forwards, causing them pain as the thoughts entered their minds.
First was Pearl, the monarch reminding her that the Gem she gave everything to never loved her, how she strung her along until she found a more interesting toy, which was Greg. He reminded her about every time she had hurt him emotionally just because she was hurt by his mother, as well as every time Rose had run off with humans, giving them more love an attention than her.
Next was Garnet, the fusion being reminded of how fake her love really was, how Sapphire was willing to end it all for good just because she felt that what Rose said was invalid because she was a Diamond, therefore meaning their relationship was built off of what one Gem said. He reminded her of all the times her future vision had failed her, how she put his life in danger because she was scared of Blue, how both of the Gems that made her were so dependent on each other that they put everyone at risk because they couldn't stay unfused for a game of baseball, how they were nothing without one another and even together they were a whole new kind of failure.
Now there was Connie, the hybrid finding her insecurities to be amusing. She felt inadequate compared to the Gems and himself, she saw herself as less than them, hence why she would always try so hard to help...but in the end, she would fail. The girl was human, she was weak, she was slow, she was overall inferior to those around her in every way she thought of. Then there was her parents, she would always work so hard to make them proud, but she always had the feeling that nothing she did was good enough for her mother, therefore giving Steven another insecurity to amplify.
And last but not least was Lion. He honestly wasn't sure how he was accessing the mind of an undead animal or an animal at all, but saw this to be a good opportunity to reclaim what was his. "You are my birthright, and yet you run off with that human girl?" He spoke as he approached the confused animal, the hybrid setting his hand on the feline's head, resulting in the pink creature's eyes glowing white with his own set of diamond shapes in the center of them. "You are mine, I think it's about time you start following orders until I'm done with you."
Eventually his eyes wondered over to Spinel who he could see was clutching his body close with tears in her eyes. Steven have a slight huff as he floated over to her, already well aware of her insecurities, so he didn't bother waistline time by looking into her. "Guess I need to work on who all this effects, my condolences." He spoke as he kneeled next to her, becoming surprised when he could physically touch her. "...Don't worry, I'll make it all better." He reassured her before planting a kiss on her head, the pink Gem's tears leaving almost instantly. "S-Steven?"
"Yes, I'm here...to an extent. Nevertheless, I apologize for dragging you into that, it seems I'll need to figure out how this works eventually." He spoke as he laid his hand on top of hers.
"No, don't apologize my Diamond, I know you didn't mean to, it's really ok." Spinel was quick to say, the thought of him apologizing to her feeling somewhat wrong, though it's likely just because she refused to believe her Diamond would ever do anything to hurt her.
"I could argue about how to accept apologies all day long, but I need you to wake my sleeping form. It's healed up, it just needs to be woken up." He requested while observing his body to see if there were any unhealed damages, which there was thankfully none of visible to the naked eye.
"Oh, um, okay then." Spinel said with a shrug as she gently shook his body. "It's not working, shake harder, tap on me or something." He instructed, the Gem doing as she was told and shaking him back and forth harder before tapping his face. "It's still not workin'."
"Hm, let me try something then." He said as he grabbed her hand once more, knowing what to do almost like instinct, this resulting in his ghostly limb going into her fleshed out one, giving him full control of that arm. "Very interesting." He spoke as he lifted their hand in the air, the hybrid finding this new mind control-like power nifty. "You'll likely need to use physical force to wake me."
"Wait, I-I don't wanna hurt you or nothin'." Spinel objected as she fought against the power of his control, her unwillingness to harm her Diamond seemingly overpowering even him as their arms became separate once more. "I just can't!"
"I order you to do so. Or are you going to deny an order from your Diamond?" He asked her as he began to feel his control over her return, their arms fusing together once more, the smaller Gem becoming easier to control as her eyes glowed a dark pink. "No...of course not." She responded, somewhat in a trance as she opened her hand, Steven making her bring it down and slap him across the face.
-=In The Strawberry Field=-
Steven shot up as Spinel's eyes turned back to normal, the hybrid realizing how many powers he just discovered. "Hm, I forget I have these powers over the mind as well..." He spoke as he touched his cheek before looking down to his hand. "Just unfortunate I need to be completely unconscious and venerable to use them."
"Steven, you're back!" Spinel cried out as she wrapped her arms around the hybrid. "I was scared, a-and I started getting bad thoughts, but then for some reason I heard your voice, and it made he hit you, and-"
"Spinel, it's fine, what wasn't just my voice, it was me." Steven spoke as he stood up, only to see that the rebels were gone, leaving Lion just sitting there with his diamond eyes, looking into Steven's own eyes. "At least it had long lasting effects on you." He sighed as he walked towards the animal.
"Steven, what is that thing?" Spinel questioned after maybe fifteen, seemingly a bit calmer than she was earlier, as she was now standing by his side with her scythe ready. "That human said it brought her here."
"No need to worry, it belongs to me for now." Steven reassured her as he set a hand on the lion's mane, its softness almost comparable to Spinel's hair. "Seeing as we have some rebels to hunt down and an invasion to start, would you like to ride him to our destination?"
"B-But what about the ship? We can't just leave it behind with the others." Spinel said, looking to the large pair of pink legs, worrying for her friends who were inside the ship and waiting for them to return. "You should at least call them, right?"
"Hm, I assume you didn't collect all of our troops yet, and it looked like you were using the pink energy that resets Gems, so we can just take all of them back to homeworld and put them to better use under careful observation." He spoke, though it was mostly to himself. The monarch then pulled out his communication device and called up Nephrite.
"Hello, my Diamond." She greeted, only for both of the Lazulies to come on screen as well and wave to him. "Hey Steven." Curls smiled, being to the right of Nephrite. "Did you win? We couldn't really tell what was happening, but you were just kind of laying there for a while as the rebels ran away." Freckles questioned him, still somewhat concerned.
"Don't worry, me and Spinel are fine, we just have to hunt down the remaining rebels, so I would like you three to go and collect the gems on the battlefield, bubble them, and put them inside the ship. Freckles and Curls can retrieve water to speed up the searching and collecting process if they'd like." He instructed as he looked around to see all the scattered gemstones, knowing it would probably be a difficult task otherwise. "Anyways, after that, I want Nephrite to take the ship where it was last time we came to earth to collect her, it should be in its travel history, you just have to make sure it lands properly."
"Yes, my Diamond, we'll get started right away." Nephrite spoke with a nod before Curls spoke up. "I assume we'll see you where you're asking her to bring the ship?"
"I should be there by then, if not, I'm sure you wouldn't have an issue with fending off some humans with an entire ocean right next to you." Steven reasoned as he remembered that he still had to find the rebel Lapis. "Anyways, I'll see you all later, and I'll be starting the invasion right away."
"Alright then, we'll meet you at the water." Freckles responded with a nod, saying her goodbyes, soon followed by the other two. After they hung up, Steven pulled out a different device as he looked to the sky. "Ooo, a big red button, can I press it?" Spinel spoke with intrigue after noticing that said button was on the device.
"Very well, it doesn't matter who does it, just as long as it gets done." He responded as he handed it to her. "It's going to cripple this planet and send the signal to White's troops that are waiting in different locations around the solar system."
Spinel just starred at the detonation button for a moment before she activated it, slightly flinching as the sky lit up and multiple loud booms went off, the satellites around earth all exploding at once. "Woah..." She said in awe as the sky turned pink and stayed that way.
"Hm, I'd say it's overkill, but I guess we need the others to see the explosions as well...oh well, we have rebels to find." Steven said with a malevolent grin. "Lion, do your owner a favor and track them down." He ordered as he climbed onto the feline's back, the hybrid pulling Spinel up with him.
It took the beast a second, but eventually he let out a roar, opening a diamond-shaped portal that he was quick to jump through.
-=End of Chapter=-
Yeet skeet, the Gems got beat lmao
Nah, but really, now they have witnessed Steven actually shattering one of them, so maybe that will make them take him seriously now, but who knows.
Either way, this is leaving us with Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, Peridot, and Lapis alive, but as you're aware, Lapis isn't exactly on their side anymore. Also, if you think that just because Steven is starting his invasion on earth, that this is the end, trust me, he still has so much more to go through, I mean, he's nowhere near as physically strong as cannon Steven, and he's a full on tyrant who is willing to do what cannon Steven wouldn't.
Idk, anyways, as always-
Good morning, goodnight, or good afternoon, I'll see you all again soon
