A few hours passed before I woke up. When I did wake up, I was in darkness. I felt Icy's arms around me so I knew it was just pitch black. It must've been dark.

"Man… Ivy…?" I looked around.

I didn't hear anything upon saying Ivy's name and I sighed.

"I'm starting to feel nervous…" I told myself.

Removing Icy's arms from my body, I slowly got up and stretched. When I got up, I shook Icy. Hearing her groan and soon she woke up, she stared at me in confusion.

"S- something wrong…?" She asked.

"Um, yeah… Ivy left a few hours back. He hasn't returned." I said.

"Huh? Really? Um…" She looked to the side.

"I'm going out there to look for him." I told her.

"Are you sure? It seems very dark out there." She replied.

"Yeah. I need to at least search for him in case something happened. You stay here, alright? You need rest so we can get going as soon as possible…" I said.

Icy sighed and nodded, laying her head back and closing her eyes. She told me to be careful as I ensured her I would as I walked towards the door and opened it. I left and made sure the door was tightly closed. I also made sure I locked the door from inside before closing the door, so now I'm locked outside. But I rather be safe since Icy was still injured and leaving the door unlocked was a bad idea.

Once I did this, I started searching. The fog at this point was completely gone which made me feel better.

"Okay… Now that I can see…" I looked around.

"I need to be careful." I told myself.

Pulling out my knife, I started searching the grounds. I didn't go far since I didn't want to abandon Icy, so I stayed within a certain distance. The eerie sound of silence unnerved me. It was very unsettling and I didn't know where to search. I searched behind trees, in ditches, logs and even looked high to see if anything was hanging from trees. There was a very low chance some kind of trap would've been set around here. But it did happen not long ago, so I was just making sure Ivy wasn't strung up by his feet. I didn't find him hanging upside down somewhere which made me feel better.

And so I walked and walked. The darkness confused me at points which caused me to get turned around. After passing the same location three times, I decided to give up and returned back to the cabin. I was somewhat annoyed and worried since Ivy was still out there.

However, when I started getting very worried, walking back to the cabin, I suddenly heard a loud thud. This thud made me jump as I swiftly turned around and looked. The thing that caused the noise appeared to be a massive rock. This confused me as I soon noticed rope and what appeared to be something on the ground. I walked towards the objects on the ground and figured out it was a tripwire. The tripwire caused the rock to fall from the tree. This made me think of something.

"C- crap… I knew it! Some stupid traps… But… This makes me even more worried. W- what if Ivy tripped one and wasn't lucky enough to get a delayed trap?" I spoke out.

Looking over the trap, I slowly backed up and sighed.

"Okay… Ivy is an extreme explorer. I am sure he is being careful with traps… Hell, maybe he even explored temples. I doubt it, but still… I know he has knowledge with stupid tripwires." I said.

Gripping the knife, I slowly turned around and decided to get back to the cabin as fast as possible. So I ran towards the direction where the cabin was. Luckily I didn't go too far, so I returned a few minutes later. When I arrived, I gently knocked on the door and waited.

"Come on Icy…" I whispered under my breath.

With no response for a minute, I knocked again. This only took 30 seconds before I heard the door unlocked. When it unlocked, I twisted the knob and opened the door.

Looking in slowly, I noticed Icy standing there, just a few feet from the door. Looking at her, she seemed quite relief as she walked towards me and hugged. I hugged her and looked at her.

"G- glad your back… While you were gone, Ivy actually returned." She said.

Perking up, I felt much better.

"Thankfully… I was really worried." I replied.

Icy smiled and nodded. I walked in after she departed, hearing her close the door and locked. When the door locked, she walked by me and back to the bed. She sat down and stretched as I joined her.

"It's still really dark. Should we get some more rest then head out the moment light shows?" She asked.

"That's a good idea. But… Where's Ivy?" I asked her.

She pointed towards the bathroom.

"He's in there. Taking advantage of the hot water which is still really strange… Why is there water running here? Oh well… We should just enjoy it before we leave." She said.

"Yeah… Well, you still need some rest before we head out. So why not get some sleep? I'll get some sleep in a moment after taking to Ivy." I said.

She nodded and laid down as she closed her eyes. I smiled and got up slowly, walking towards the bathroom and opened the door. Ivy was indeed in the shower, luckily with the curtains drawn. I slowly walked up to the shower and leaned against the wall.

"Ivy?" I finally spoke.

"H- huh…? Hey… You're back." He said.

"Yeah, was out looking for you. Where did you go?" I asked.

"Sorry about disappearing… I went scouting for a bit." He said.

"For a few hours." I replied.

"Yeah, sorry about that. But I wanted to make sure nothing was around when we started moving." He said.

"I guess that's a smart move. Just try and tell us first, alright? Was really worried." I said.

"Okay, I'll make sure. Anyways… From what I gathered, it appears that there isn't much around for five or so miles. I encountered a small town east from here. Other then that, nothing much." He said.

"Huh… Well, I rather not go sightseeing. I just want to leave here, alright?" I told him.

"I was just saying. I'm all for leaving this place too." He replied.

"So that's our plan? Leaving this place? I don't mind at all." I said.

"Same. We need out of here as soon as possible." He said.

"Yep… Well, I'm gonna get some sleep. Don't stay up too late since we need to go early in the morning." I told him.

"Okay. I plan on getting some sleep after this anyways." He said.

"Sounds good. See you then." I said.

I walked towards the door and opened it, closing it behind me and walking towards the bed. I sat on my bed and sighed softly before laying down and closing my eyes. I then fell asleep.

A few hours passed before I awoke in my bed. Icy was already awake as Ivy slept. I gently sat up as Icy looked over to me.

"Morning… I'm just getting ready to travel." She said.

"O- oh… Okay… Are you good to move so soon?" I asked.

"I'll be fine. Sorta been through worse." She replied.

"If you say so." I said and got up.

Walking outside to get some air, I wasn't really sure what to do as of right now. I wasn't sure how far we were from our start location. I didn't know if those Pokemon were near or far. This scared me somewhat, not knowing where those Pokemon with that death machine was at. One good thing about that however is that we'll hear it from miles away pretty much. That truck was so damn noisy while we were being chased. So unless it has stealth abilities, we should be alerted ahead of time.

These thoughts unnerved me. Thinking of being chased by that monster again. That truck is quite frightening so I really wanted to get out of here. Ivy and Icy really wanted to leave too. Pretty sure they didn't expect this kind of journey. I don't blame them. Neither did I.

I tried not thinking about it for a few minutes before deciding to walk back in. Once in, I walked up to Ivy and gently kicked his leg. He let out a groan and opened his eyes. I just stared at him as he realized it was time. So he got up slowly and began getting ready.

Once the three of us was ready, we walked towards the door and opened it, walking out. When we were outside, I turned to face them.

"Okay… Are you two sure you got everyone?" I asked.

"Yeah, we got everyone." Ivy said.

Nodding, I pointed in a direction.

"I believe our start point is that way. North…? Lets hurry, alright? Stay close." I said.

The two agreed and followed as I lead them through the trees. We walked straight in silence. We feared even the slightest noise from our mouths will cause them to detect us somehow. It was already known they have trapped up a majority of the forest. If they have trapped everything, I had a feeling they had bugs or some sort of device that picks up audio. Hell, maybe even motion detector. They clearly had all kinds of devices and all.

These thoughts were the only thing I could think of which is why I didn't want to risk it. We're so close to escaping and I don't want something to ruin it. We were so close last time but that truck chased us off. This time, I plan on getting out of here. This is going to be somewhat tough I think. They probably already set up traps near there. Maybe explosives. I sighed deeply.

I just continued walking forward as the two followed behind me, keeping a close eye out for anything. We just continued and continued. I started to wander endlessly through the forest and I shook my head, annoyed. I knew I was completely lost but I didn't want to tell the two as it might worry them. What I fear more is that it'll spark a fight. Doubt it, but it could happen.

"This sucks…" I said to myself.

"Lost and not sure where to go…" I continued.

Looking back, the two continued scanning the area. I looked down.

"We need to get out of here… So close…" I sighed.

Lifting my head, I scoffed. I didn't want to give up now, so I just pushed forward in hopes to find something. And something it was. It was the city we were in before.

"Guys…? I remember this place." Icy spoke.

"Yeah. Isn't this where you got our supply?" Ivy asked.

"Yeah…! We must be close!" Icy exclaimed.

"Thinking of it… We are near! I think we just head west from here." Ivy said.

Looking back at the two, I nodded and motioned them to follow and be somewhat quiet. The two nodded slowly and hushed themselves as we started walking down the abandon streets of the city. We walked down the long stretch of road and once we reached a split in it, we turned left and walked down. We were heading west at this point and as I continued thinking, we were near out starting location. I believed this place was our first location. I couldn't really remember since we've been through a lot in the past week.

So as we picked up our pace, I suddenly felt Ivy grab my arm while looking at the ground. I turned back and looked, tilting my head. I then saw him hush me and pointed further down the street. Slowly turning around, I noticed what I have feared all this time. A massive truck blocking the road up the path. It was still a decent distance away as the truck just sat there without moving.

"D- damn it… I knew it'd be too easy…" Icy said.

"This is getting really annoying… We should try and sneak around?" I asked.

"No, this roadblock… Look closer. Barbed wire and spikes scattered throughout the dirt." Ivy said, pointing it out.

"Ugh…! So what are we going to do then?" I asked, looking at them.

"Well… I think I know how to get past this." Ivy said.

Tilting my head, he motioned me to follow. I followed and when we were only thirty feet away, we hid near the ground hazards.

"Lets wait for a little…" He said.

"Um, okay?" I sounded confused.

"Don't worry. I know what to do." Ivy said.

We then hid there for a while, waiting for Ivy to make a move...
