*Percy's POV*

A Few Months Later..

I looked out onto the armies of Camp Olympus. My arms were folded, and I solemnly watched as our armies moved and got ready. The atmosphere was grim, and nobody had a smile on their face. A couple days ago, a demigod spotted a black tower that looked like Saruman's tower from Lord of the Rings. My only guess was it would be Chaos' command center.

Lots of monsters have been attacking Camp. None of Chaos' weird monsters were involved, just earth ones. At first they weren't much of an issue, but after some time they started doing real damage. After a monster managed to get through the barrier, they blew up one of the command centers. We have a few command centers because we wanted others to be able to take control if our main post goes down.

I watched a kid trip and fall flat on his face. He was about my age when I first arrived at camp. I sensed he was new, and clearly was afraid. I didn't blame him. Rachel managed to make a breakthrough and discover that the battle for Earth would begin today. Which reminded me, I needed to talk to her.

I disappeared and reappeared outside of Rachel's new cave. The other day when one of the command centers blew up, a couple jars of greek fire were sent flying and went right into Rachel's cave, exploding and destroying a lot. Thankfully her important items were salvaged, but she wasn't happy about losing some of her prized games.

I entered, pushing away a small curtain. I walked around a corner into one of her private rooms, and found her playing with legos. There was a tower, with a few people on it, three or so. It was kind of cool. There was two guy-looking lego people, and then a girl. She looked up and saw me, and smiled. "Hey Rachel." I said casually, and she stood up, but accidentally bumped the table, causing the one guy to bump the other guy and girl off the lego tower.

Rachel paid no attention to the legos, and stepped forward and gave me a hug, which I gratefully returned. She smelled nice. It was warm hugging her, but weird, almost as if I'd never feel that feeling again. I wasn't sure how long we were hugging, but then I heard a voice behind me "You two done yet?" I paled, knowing that voice all too well.

We broke off, and I slowly turned around to find a not-so-happy looking Artemis standing there. There wasn't a trace of happy about her at all. I could feel my cheeks getting red, and it almost seemed like hers were too. I already knew what was going to happen: She was going to demand I give a full explanation about what happened. Great.

"I'll meet you outside." Artemis said coldly, and walked out. I gulped. I turned back to Rachel, who was obviously kind of embarrassed. "Sorry about that." I managed to get out, and she didn't move for a moment, but randomly launched forward and kissed me. To be honest, I was completely caught off guard. I had no idea what to do.

Confusion ran through my head like Usain Bolt. The Oracle couldn't date, couldn't do any of that. It made no sense to me. Rachel pulled back, face red. "She's waiting." Rachel said, and I quickly disappeared. I appeared outside, infront of Artemis. Artemis' face was an angry one, but then she frowned, looking at my face. I gave her a weird look.

"Why are your lips so red?" She asked, and I felt myself pale. I completely forgot: Rachel was in the habit of using this bright lipstick that made her lips really red. I knew I was screwed. "Oh- I, uh- Don't know! M - Must be the s - sun." I stuttered. Artemis narrowed her eyes, then her expression turned into realization. I knew she put two and two together.

It wasn't exactly pleasing to get slapped so hard that you're sent flying, but it happened. I smashed through a couple of trees before leaving a crater in the ground. I held my cheek, groaning in pain. Didn't matter if I was a god or not, Artemis' slaps would always hurt. She walked up to me, and kicked me right where Apollo doesn't shine.

Obviously, I had tears in my eyes as I laid on the ground trying to recover. While the two pains kind of equaled out so I couldn't focus on one and it made it a bit better, it disabled my ability to walk for a moment. After a minute, I slowly stood up, groaning as I did so. Artemis had her arms crossed, and gave me a cold look. "Maybe I should go and-" She started.

"N - no! That's not necessary!" I yelped out. I knew what she was getting at, and I didn't really want Apollo mad at me because I got his Oracle killed. Artemis growled. "So, you admit to starting it then?" Oh gods, this got WAY worse quickly. I opened my mouth and closed it. I didn't know how to respond without getting Rachel killed, or have my face removed from my head.

Artemis opened her hand and raised it up like she was going to slap me. I cowered back, not knowing how to defend myself from it. Out of no where, the war horn was blown. Artemis turned, looking in the direction of the camp. She looked back to me, and I nodded. I disappeared and reappeared at the entrance of the camp.

A decent sized army was approaching the camp, and fast. They were an army of Earth monsters, led by what looked like a Titan. After closer inspection, I realized it was the Titan I hated with the very being of my soul: Kronos. How was he here? Not sure. With Chaos leading them, about anything was possible.

The camp's army was positioned behind me. Holding Riptide, I wore godly armor, and looked out at the approaching army. I tried to find weaknesses, but I couldn't really spot any out. Seeing as Chaos was the head of the entire enemy side of the war, I'm positive he ensured his army would be difficult to beat. I sighed.

Artemis stood next to me, not saying anything. I had to stop myself from looking over at her. Artemis is great and all, but she had her moments where she got mad like that, and it became beat-up-Percy fest. I didn't appreciate it. After all, we were friends. But sometimes, she just wasn't extremely reasonable about all of this.

Deciding it was now or never, I gripped my sword and screamed "FOR OLYMPUS!" A loud roar from the demigods emerged, and we ran down the hill. The monster army braced, but they weren't prepared for the strike. Our army smashed into there's, and I leaped at Kronos, determination on my face.

Laughing, Kronos sidestepped and avoided my strike. He was holding his main weapon: his scythe. I attacked again, and he blocked and shoved forward. I went back a few feet but regained my footing. I teleported behind him and slashed down, but he was too quick. He spun around and kicked me in the stomach. I groaned, moving back a bit.

In the corner of my eyes, I saw the battle raging on. Artemis lead the demigods against the monsters. They seemed to be at a standstill so far, one side not gaining an advantage over the other. My observation was cut short by Kronos, who wasted no time in slashing his scythe at me.

I disappeared and reappeared, kicking him in the face. He grunted, but moved on and locked into a duel with me. We moved at fast pace, our blades meeting and clashing. I knew one wrong move could quickly end this fight, and I was waiting for Kronos to slip up. Finally, his side was left open for a split second too long, and I abused it.

Dropping down, I stabbed up, and stabbed my blade right into Kronos' side. He coughed out blood, yelling in pain and anger. I sunk my sword in deeper, and I was foolish enough to believe I got him. His look of pain turned into a smug look, and I was blasted back. I lay on the ground for a moment before I got up, coughing.

Kronos' side and armor was completely healed / fixed. He looked good as new. My eyes widened. "How?!" I gasped out, still not totally recovered from that last blast. "You're a fool to think it'd be that easy, Percy Jackson." Kronos said.

The smirk on his face told me everything was about to go wrong.
